Thanks for taking a look at my girls!

Won't be long now!

:blunt:

Your wife probably sitting in the house thinking that damm fool is still out there on the deck palying with his pot plants !! That mazor looks close to ready !! the front and the regenerated one still look green ?? We tryed growing white widow in New England this yr., but they were sativa strain and just did'nt mature before we had to take them because of frost, good smoke, but airy budd. 7 plants gave me about 10 ozs. I was expecting 1/4 lb per plant, but now i know !! Back to something like nl#5 next yr !!

Big gonads? More like plain old crazy! I grow just about every year out there, but never to the extent that I've had this season. One ot two plants was never very stressful, both for the wife and myself. This grow is a test of nerves (for both of us). I'll be glad when they are all harvested and in jars curing. May have to bury the jars in the ground when they're all curing! Nothing like having a couple of lbs around the house! Should be no more than a week for the NL#5 and two weeks for the Mazar (if that) and then I'll bring the Bubba inside and who knows perhaps the wife will be so elated that I'm finishing up out there, that she'll let me bring the Runt inside also. We'll see. It would be a darn shame to not let her go the distance also.

Hopefully the next time I grow will be in a MMJ legal State.

Fingers crossed! :thumb:

For those of you that may have missed them on the previous page (perhaps) I've just posted some nice photos.

--------------------------------------
So which state you moving to ??

nice bunch of plants, I love your season so late I'm jealous. what parralel are you? I'm above 52 and had killer frost sept 12/13
I notice yours as well as most I see of outdoors have 3x the leaves to trim then indoor crops. but then we get more to make hash or oil from.
a good job with those woodsman

Not going to give out any location or latitude, suffice it to say that this grow should have ended a few weeks ago because of the near freezing night temps back then. It has gotten even colder this last week (below freezing) and will dip below 32 again this coming week. I've only been able to continue with the grow because I've covered them on cold nights and have a small heater blowing warm air into the makeshift tent. I've had a plant grow till Nov 11th once, but I had taken it inside for the last few weeks to finish. Normal time would be mid Oct. around here.

Not important were I live, but let's just say I'm 'manipulating' Mother Nature and winning.

The Mazar is still just cloudy (still some clear) and I'd like to get some amber on her. The NL#5 (seed) is all cloudy and today in fact I've seen a couple of amber trichs. The Bubba Kush (in group photo she's in the front) is clear/cloudy and has the largest trichomes I've ever seen. If you were an atom you'd be able to walk from one to the other without having to jump! The Runt which is a regen NL#5 is also clear/cloudy. All of these remaining plants need to get some amber before harvest time.

beautiful pics and plants woodsman, just gorgeous....and that b.k. looks great....most of mine give me 3-5 seeds each, so if you smile right at her, she may give you a few too....i just put one in a larger pot....from there, i'll take more clones off her....she is a beauty....and has always been fairly ez to clone, even for me....she is a great plant, i just like up energy plants more, but she is killer....i bagged some samples up yesterday, and smoked some, and that was the first time in months....mine is still harsher than i like, but really rocked my head....had to force, hahaha, myself to go smoke some chronic haze .. so i could finish what i started....
the kid got here today, so didnt get much done, long drive....alot of smoke, over to the other sons, more smoke....well somehow i deleted the rest of this post....all i have to do is get my electic charged hands over the finger pad, and this thing goes nuts....to much electricity i guess....we all ended up talking about 2012 and about some ufo that landed in china, that was experimental, they claim....did you hear about it....just curious...need more info....do you watch jessie venturas conspiracy theory? can get it on a lap top also....take care....L

Hi Woodsman Great pictures......your almost there.....just bit more time.
The NL#5 I have is from SensiSeeds and is mixed with haze and is indica dominate. What I smoked was plain NL and I wasn't too impressed with it. However the NL#5 should be good. I hope!

Your wife is right there is a huge Filipino community here, they are everywhere!
The hospitals are full them. Nurses Hehe!

I'm trying to send you more warm weather vibes! :surf:

Beautiful pics Woodsman! I've kind of adopted your Bubba Kush, I show mine your pics and tell her she better end up looking just like that.... or else!

Well sounds like with the kids there you had a good excuse to screw off a bit, you deserve it my dear!

I've gotten seeds off of all three of the bagweeds. I'm sure there are more in there to be found also in the rest of them. How the heck did they get these seeds L? The suspect males were put down in the yard till I could finally ID them and then I killed them. There were no open gonads that I saw and believe me, I was looking every day for weeks! Could there have been some male flowers in my female plants? If there were any they were well hidden.

Never heard of the UFO (though if it was real, it would have been all over the world news and we would have had alerts and bells and all kinds of whistles. Holidays for all the kids at school and the President would have mad a speech. None of that happened so it must have been a crock.

I'm the same way with ghosts. If there were any as a fact, it would be on the news and there would be special Presidential and Papal news conferences. Don't watch any of the reality ghost hunting shows cause it ain't real. If it was, the President would make another speech following the UFO speech! LOL
Besides if I was an alien commander, I wouldn't come to earth. I'd have seen all the old 1950's Sci-Fi movies and would know that when I come out of my spaceship to say hello, I'll get nuked by the Army. Nope aliens won't come here.

No never heard of the Gov's conspiracy theories. Not much into conspiracies either.

I had to chop mine early due to the weather wet and cold... wish I had a tent lol but its a remote location. good work though. my pinklady developed bud rot so she had to come down with another week of rain couldnt chance it. still great smoke but it could have been better eh.

My pink lady has some seeds too SD has slight hermie tendencies thats how we got our seeds and there feminized its a very hardy plant from what I saw so it doesnt go full hermie witch is good.:peacetwo:

Very nice woodsman, looks like you are taking very nice care of those ladies even with the cold nights. Its amazing all those plants you have grown and kept nice and health and producing. Very nice job and lots and lots of work to get those things all manicured and still some work to do. You hands must be all cramped up in the scissors position. Again very nice job and lots of fun to watch....:goodjob:

It's the most beautiful grow I've had!

The wife let me bring the stuff inside!

It's been raining and cool (mold) so she said 'wouldn't it be better to have them inside?' Well now I can bring them in on those cold nights and put them out on the better days. Wont' be long now!

Got seeds from all three of my bagweeds (not a lot, one here and one there)

Initially the for the first three plants that I've harvested, at least they were done in stages. The next ones may go one at a time, but most likely the whole plant.

Thanks for the nice words!

Hello Mountain my good friend, nice of you to drop in as always

:lot-o-toke: :lot-o-toke:

Had a great time with the wife! We had gotten a complimentary one night stay, $25 dinner coupon, $10 breakfast coupon and $25 (each) playing credit at a local casino and . I had figured that it must have been a 'time share' type deal until I called them and found out that was not the case, they just needed to drum up business (players cards). So here we are, NOT 'rolling in dough' and going to a casino! So we figured that we'd take them up on the offer knowing we couldn't spend any money other than gas (to get there) and a few meals. Turned out with gas, a few tips and just a couple of dollars on food, we spent only $50 of our own. We just played at the poker machines with their $50 (total) complimentary credit and after a three hours of playing lost only $1.50 cash out of our pocket! Too bad we didn't win, that would have been something, but for us it was a 'win win' situation, fun away from home and not much cash spent in the process. They did not make much off of us, that's for sure. I'm sure they were hoping that we'd drop a few 'bills' or so to make it worth their while. LOL!

Back home on Tuesday after driving home in the 60+ mph winds that ripped through the upper Midwest. Watching the semi's battling with the wind reminded me of a drive through the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah one night and seeing all the Fed X and UPS double and triple trailers (legal in some states) on their sides after getting blown over. Amazed at all the idiots that would 'loligag' next to a semi. Nothing a driver of a big truck hates more than when 4 wheelers (cars, pick ups) will just sit themselves right alongside your truck and not pass. And especially on the 'sui-side' (right side of a semi - blind side).

Well I've had all four plants inside thanks to my wife. She suggested this to me before we left because she felt paranoid having the plants out on the deck while we were gone. Also because she knew that we were going to have the strong winds and cold temps. Looks like they will be inside for awhile as the night time temps will be at or below freezing for the next few days.

Still not seeing any amber on the NL#5 or the Mazar, just cloudy trichs. Picked off one secondary top (only 25 grams wet) of the NL#5 and hung it in a warmer area of the house to speed up the drying process so I can test it out. wondering if by bringing them inside with only minimal 'indirect' sunlight would stop the maturation of the plants. Hopefully they will start to age enough for me to chop soon.

Fun times for Woodsman, and on a shoestring too. You know when times are better you may not have as much fun as the times when you were low on chips. I have to constantly remind myself of the same thing because I am sort of low on chips now myself.

You know my second wife, the one I just divorced, has/had a gambling problem. It caused us as many problems as if one had one of the known chemical dependency problems. I will not go into all the ugly things that happened, but let it suffice to say that her addiction to gambling was as bad a crack head's addiction.

I can remember her talking me into going into a casino from time to time. She had a problem leaving the casino a winner. I think that her addiction was to give up the money, not to win. She could never leave after winning. That was just more money to play longer. She told me when she was gambling she felt like she was on top of the world.

Anyway, glad to see you had a good time.

Hello G!

Thanks for dropping in my friend. A buddy of mine back in CA used to have a problem with gambling also. Over the years it just ruined him, not only finanacially, but also changed him from being a really nice person with dignity to another completely different person. He always needed to borrow money for that big chance that he was sure was coming. He always figured that the next trip to the casino meant winning the jackpot, Don't think he ever did, just owed everyone money and was never able to pay it back. Wife left him, family became estranged and eventually none of his friends wanted anything to do with him. He developed a one track mind...Gambling.

My wife and I don't gamble at casinos very often, perhaps once a year. We never have much money to gamble with and very rarely win, but we do enjoy the Casino scene, it is a little escape from reality for us. Of course lately we've been hurting financially so the thought of going to a casino never entered our minds. Not until we got a 'free' offer!

I would rather play for a long while and not win (break even or just loose a little) than bet big and loose quick.

Driving over the road of course meant sleeping in the 'sleeper' of the tractor. This was fine and 99% of the time spent out on the road that's were I slept. Shower every few days at a truck stop (almost felt like being at home.....almost). Then along comes Nevada! Passed through the State at least once every two weeks if not more. At every highway side casino like Whiskey Pete's at the state line between Las Vegas and LA. or Boomtown near Reno there are parking areas set aside for the big trucks just like a truck stop. Truckers tourists and locals frequent them. Used to pop $10 into a poker machine, sometimes winning and sometimes losing. If I lost, no big deal, I'd just sleep in the truck, but if I'd win, I'd get a room in the casino hotel for the night! Talk about a real treat! Bed, TV, shower, dinner and breakfast like a human being. Not even like I needed to win a lot, $20 buck got me a nice clean hotel room.

Anyway G, you got me ramblin again! Just got me thinking about the old times!

Earlier today I took one branch (secondary) off the Mazar, trimmed and weighed it out at 50 grams wet. I've got at least a dozen of those branches left on the plant, plus all the popcorn buds below. Should give me 6 oz dry I think. We'll see, this one was with all cloudy trichs, hoping to get some amber for the rest of her. This was just to test it out and the top of the brach is drying next to the NL#5 top from the other day. I should be able to sample that one tomorrow (partly dry most likely). Not sure if the remaining plants will ever mature now that they're inside.
