Woodsman Outdoors

Hey bud nice to see ya back, Thanks for sharing your great smoke with us!

I'm sure its not great in comparison to what most of you are used to but most of the shit you get from around here is brick weed. One can only speculate as to where the hell or who the hell it really comes from.

Hence growing my own. Hopefully not only will I end up with better smoke than I could possibly buy, but I will keep my money out of some dirt bag dealer of who knows what.

Wow, woodsman you have been busy building a forest in my absents. Sorry to hear about the back but looks like you are going to have some unbelievable meds in you near future. Very, very nice job....

Hey Woods! Or should I say Mithrandir? Guess who's here along with Samwise and myself? Haldir! He's my oldest son, and will be helping with the heavy lifting, etc ;)

As ever, your girls are always beautiful!

Thanks Galadriel I think they're very pretty girls for sure, but like most pretty girls, the're giving me soooo many grey hairs!:rasta:

Your son! Well don't work the boys too hard now, make sure they bend at the knees and lift with their legs..... While your telling them these useful and intelligent instructions, make yourself comfortable, put your feet up get something cold to drink and have a few tokes ! :lot-o-toke:

They may not like you too much for it, but what the heck, your their queen!

Well I sure understand Elbee, I've smoked way too much 'brick' in my life! From now on it's only good weed grown under the watchful eyes of it's grower!

I'm pretty sure the brickweed is your referring too is the stuff that is smuggled across our southern border in tightly packed and bound bales.

Hello my friend nice of you to drop in! It is quite the forest for sure and is getting a little overgrown or maybe a lot overgrown as my wife would think, Have you ever wished that your stuff would stop growing? I have been thinking that thought quite a bit lately! Yup, I'll need some serious medication after this grow.

Having boys give you just as many grey hairs both in the plant world and in the human one as well ;)

Haldir is my oldest, he's 22. Yes I was 19 years old when I had him. But I found out recently, due to my health issues, if I would have waited to have kids later on (as in mid 20's to 30's) I would not have been able to have kids. I didn't know that at the time, but thinking back, I am glad I had my kids young. Keeping up school, work and with 3 kids under the age of 5 (way back when) was hard work. Plus when I get into my late 40's all my kids will be adults and hubby and I can enjoy the peace and quiet. :)

My middle son is 19, and my youngest is in his final years in high school.

I am very fortunate that they are all relatively good young men. Sure they get into mischief, but nothing too serious. They do a lot to help me. They are my sous chef's (because of blood thinners I can't chop and prepare foods that require cutting) and they help out with the heavy duty household chores. They're good young men.

Now if you could send me some seed germination vibes I'd be set. I'm in a holding pattern waiting for them to sprout right now... :passitleft:

OMG dont get me started on brick weed... wait, it is too late. I have smoked brick that tasted like rubber tires and petroleum. The Mexicans do not care how they get mota back to the states, and keeping it clean is not an issue.

I was in Louisiana for awhile on a work assignment and that was just about all I could get. Growing in Louisiana means many years in prison if caught. I was terrified carrying any more than a joint the whole time.

I look at the Moroccans... They have taken weed and made the hash for Europe for a long time. It is compact, but the product is desirable. There are various grades, but none of it smells like trash burning.

Why can't the Mexicans just make hash. More bucks for the risk and a market would have developed in the states the same as Europe.

I hate brick weed.

I was getting fresher brick weed in North Louisiana. My guy said it was grown in Arkansas.

omg woodsy, looks like you are going to have one hell of a harvest. and I can only think of how many edibles you will be able to produce. We just made a batch of brownies from the oz of sugar leaves we had from the 4/20 harvest and they turned out great.

keep it up brother.

Thats exactly the stuff I'm talking about. Then after it arrives its filter threw who knows how many peoples hands

sorry about the double post

Hi My Buddy Woodsman :):)

You'll be rolling in meds after this grow. :grinjoint:

By the time you get here the Skunk will waiting for you! :peace:

Can't wait!
I'll start peddling in the morning after I rest up. Over at my brothers all day helping him out. Must have been up and down the ladder a hundred times today (my poor back). Should have seen me get out of my Jeep when I got home after driving for an hour and a half. Took me a few minutes before I could stand up straight , must have looked funny as hell.

So in the morning I'm going to start peddling to Hawaii. I'll have to go online first to see how you take the exercise bike off it's stand. :rasta: Funny looking wheels they got, must be fore speed.

Having boys give you just as many grey hairs both in the plant world and in the human one as well ;)

Let's see 22 + 19 hmmm so your 35? Great age! Don't worry Galadriel your secret is good with all of us and the rest of the world wide web!

So Haldir is your son then who is Samwise, your husband or another son? I'm sure you mentioned this a few posts back, but I'm feeling really lazy right now!

the only thing good about brickweed is if it's the only thing around. It does work (sometimes).

I know that much of the street weed that was going around in Chicago in the late 70's was from Arkansas. Pretty much tasted like dirt (ditch weed), but it also worked if it was the only thing around. Look the stuff wasn't 'one hit weed and tasted like sh*t, but if that's all there is then it's better than nothing. We're definitely spoiled now.

Howdy Chi Town Joe! Good to see ya out and about again. Hope all is well with you and the family.

Piece brother!

:peace::bongrip:

Changed hands at least ten times before it gets to you and none of them washed up after doing #2 in the desert somewhere. Most likely used rocks or leaves to wipe off.
:adore::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I don't know who Samwisee is. If hubby signs up, he's going to be a manifestation of Celeborn.

19 year old doesn't smoke. :) Cigarettes or Meds. If he did join here, he'd definitely be GIMLI ;)

Youngest, is not old enough to register here (my restriction, not the sites), but will be soon. If he did, he'd be Legolas.

We all love the LOTR story and the mythology of Middle Earth. I've got the Simirillian, the Unfinished tales, the trilogy, and we are working on gathering Tolkien's other works.

I have my age in my profile. I'm not worried about it quite yet. I've decided to celebrate anniversaries of my 21st birthday instead :)

Wait Woodsman! :smokin2:

I have it all worked out. It just came to me out of no where? Wait until you harvest and have everything pretty much cured, then put everything in water prof well sealed bags. It will be cold there by then, a good time to leave. Tie all the bags together. Try to get them to form a square or something close. You have the makings of a good pontoon raft at this point. Add a mast and sail and your in business. You could get a small outboard motor also! And if you leave then the hurricane season will be over.
You'll be here before you know it! :cheertwo::cheertwo:

well,
i had posted an e******e plan for you, sort of an itenerary, but the site wouldnt let me post it last night....

im sure you'll be leaving the west coast, as going off the east would be silly...esp. for one as you who is a very seasoned traveler, rocket, raft, ect...
so figured by the time you peddled to here, were only 25 miles from the ocean...we could have a party, we're only 150 miles from portland, land of the really free....and just all have a smoke out, but if you're tired, you COULD sleep.....we would just spread your share among us....then after you've made pontoons or? you could just sail on over from tahola, the natives do it by dug out each year....could always ask them to guide you, and of course there may be a few dugouts laying around not in use....never know....

well, that was my plan anyway, and so i'll keep a fire burning for you...L

for real tho, the hawaiian natives come here to the coast to celebrate and visit kin each yr...quite an event....so i know you can do it....yeahhhh woodsman....besides, you really need to get to somewhere where you can grow and not worry so much about worms, and sneaks, and law...and law, and law....florida told my granddaughter, they didnt care about "those west coast hippie laws", and it is still a big crime there....who needs that crud?

Like you I've read most of anything Tolkien or his son Christopher wrote, I'm sure I've missed something though, can't remember which it was? sounds like you have raised a diverse group of good boys Galadriel, no wonder you sound sane (somewhat) lol. Won't be long till you and your husband will have time for yourselves.

Wait Woodsman! :smokin2:

Brilliant idea buddy! You better rest now as you undoubtedly used up vast amounts of stored energy while thinking up this plan. I think the key here was to 'wait' till I've harvested as buds will float better when fully cured. Know need to check this fact out as it wouldn't make a whole lot of difference in my decision. I could double check these facts while floating (perhaps drifting is a better word) over tens of thousands of feet of ocean depths (I'll have my laptop). Besides, (said in a 'south of the border accent) 'who needs any stinking facts!' I've got you as my travel adviser!:blunt:

Wonderful Ideas Lavendar, I like the idea of celebrating with everyone out on the west coast before departing. These native Hawaiians will need my superb navigation skills to guide them on the most (or mostly) direct route back home. My skills are legendary among my followers, who number in the single digits (1), but who's counting, right? Sounds like I probably shouldn't get 'too much sleep' so I don't miss anything (literally). I don't mind sharing everything, but since I will need my most of my stuff for buoyancy purposes and for feeding the sharks (I know it gives them the munchies), as they wouldn't 'eat the body that feeds them', would they?

Hey Holy how the heck are ya?

LOL! I wrote this post several hours ago and forgot to 'submit' it! Just opened the laptop up and there it was waiting for me to send it..

Mini Update

Made the trip to the artisan spring earlier today and fed the ladies with full doses of Tiger Boom and Bubba got a combo (mostly TB and a half dose of Grow Big). They really get ragged looking when they are in need of water. I know that if I had water readily available here (at the house) I would never let them get like that. The get limp like two days after they are fed or watered. I could water them every day in fact and they would not be over watered. They've got very healthy root systems and could be transplanted to larger containers if I wanted to ( I don't). They suck up water like camels and if they had four legs, I'd think they were.LOL

Well my 'Bubba' is for sure a lady and a very pretty one at that! Saw the tiniest little hairs yesterday sticking out at one of the nodes, found two of those actually. Supposed to be a fem seed, but if there's a 5% chance it's a male, I'm the one bound to get it most times (with anything). If there was a lottery that 99 percent of people that play it will win something, I'm the 1% that comes up empty! You name it, I've NOT won it!:rasta: I may have won one of those little toys about the size of a silver dollar that has the two metal balls in it that you got to get it in the eye holes. Worth like a penny, maybe. I saved it to remind me that all is not lost and there is hope!:loopy:

Hey Woodsman, Isee you are doing well on the Patio!!! Damn, I am also utilizing the sun in one grow and 3400watts in another. The plants in the sun are doing extremely well as are the electric driven ones. I wish my camera was working it shit the bed. I cannot afford a new one with my children going back to school money is in short supply never mind electric, and Attorney's fees. I am smoking some crap and cant wait til harvest. I did smoke something caled The Ultimate from DP it was great! But better than that was this MK Ultra (OG Kush x G 13) from TH Seeds I have to say this was a BEAST! I dont live far from you if I remember and we should go for breakfast someday and partake of the goodness. I really enjoyed re-reading your journal and wanted to drop in and say so.

Thanks for the big time reps!
That would be great to get together old friend. I'm pretty far though from RI, I'm in the Upper Midwest. It will take me a few weeks to get to RI from here, so I better leave now!

Great to hear that your growing in a football stadium under the lights (3400w)! LOL! Only you my friend would have thought of that! With all the stuff going on in your life right now it's no wonder that I don't see a journal link in your signature. Good luck Wingman with those two grows you've got. Those two strains sound awesome!

Thannk you so much for your input on soil. I went to my hydro store today, and he had Happy Frog and Ocean Forest. I went for the OF, because you and OMM praised it so much!

I took pictures of what I got today. I'll think you'll be pleased! Again :thanks::passitleft:

Glad we could help you out. I've been using Happy Frog the last couple of grows, the first time because they didn't have FFOF and this time because it is slightly less expensive (not by much). I believe it was our good friend Mountain High that had some issues with FFOF (hot spots), you'd have to ask MH about that. Perhaps an isolated incident otherwise it is a true growers medium as is Fox Farms Happy Frog, I also added additional worm casings (already has some) and perlite (already has a little). I'll have to go visit with you later today.
