Winter Outdoor Grow 2009/2010

Hey Guy
I don't know whats going on with the yellow leaves. You may be right bout the N. Mystery 1 and the little ones. The little ones are really getting hit buy what ever it is. Have you changed any thing with them at all? Different soil mix or something? The big ones have big stems that look great and are going to be big. When something isn't right I always trace my steps back and think what did I do different or what has changed,
I'm no great grower, but I can trouble shoot and sometimes find it.
I have confidence in you Buddy and you will figure it out. :surf:

Those seedlings look like they are bulging up nicely, and the rest make me miss outdoor growing!! 5 stars for the thread - well done.

Thanks for the 5 stars and the seedling considering they really don't get the light they should are doing well. After I get those bigger plants outside I can give those little ones the attention they deserve. Thanks for stopping in and your comments.

Looking really good :surf: strains sound awesome ...keep up great job brother grower :passitleft:

Thanks let hope they turn out as well as they sound. Thanks for stopping and and your comments.

Have not done anything different except that they get a good deal of time in colder weather than the last time I grew them. Thats some good advice about going back but I really have not done much different. The only thing I can think of is the cooler weather and I have not given them as much tea as I did the last time. That could be a factor. I will have to make up some more tea this week and see how it goes. Thanks so much for stopping in and you comments.

hi sonzor, the girls are looking good.
that Lemon bubble haze is putting out some tight spacing now. The DP both look great. They are gonna be bushy.
Full Moons look like they are gonna be.. well.. full ,lol. They're packing on some bush.
Lots of growth in the middle comin on stong. Papayas gettin there also.
Are they all getting the same teas etc?

got this from a sick plant forum on another site:
"Unlike a magnesium deficiency, nitrogen def will start from the tips and work its way back to the leaf node. Nitrogen and Magnesium get confused."
On the Mystery 1 plant it looks more like magnesium, tips are still green. Maybe worth consideration, they've been potted for at least 6 weeks right? Similar symptoms, could be either.

imo you've got a smooth grow going on, plants look great.:nicethread:

They are looking great man, Congrats on you Baby Bubble as well... +rep :grinjoint:

Thanks Dex97 for stopping and and your comments... and the reps

Thanks Mmmmick, something to check into for sure. The bigger plants get a different tea then the smaller ones. Basically its the same just a little more diluted. That is some good information. I will see how the extra N works out and if there is not any improvement I will have to look into the magnesium or maybe hit it with a strong all around organic solution. We will see and thanks aging for stopping in and your comments and suggestions are always appreciated....

Been needing to +rep u ffor this grow... Better late then never!

Plant update 12-05-09

Plants are coming along very nice. They all are getting fed with compost teas every other watering which is getting pretty difficult at this point seeing they are drinking like crazy and need to be water every other day or so. And the teas only last about 24 hours and take 72 to make. So it will be a little extra work until I can get them in the ground. I decided to hold off another weak or so since I topped the Full Moons, Papayas and the Mystery plants one last time. They seem to bounce back pretty quick and start new grow almost as soon as they get topped. The little ones are coming along at a slower pace, I think it is do to lack of light when they are put inside but its just a thought. We will see when the bigger ones are in the ground and I can devote some more attention and light to the smaller ones. Also I think the Higher N in the teas has helped out a lot. I noticed less yellowing of the lower leaves and seems as if the leaves that where affected the most are getting some green back..

The tops I took from the bigger plants where dipped and put into cups about 5 days ago and are going strong, already showing a bit a growth and for those of you who followed my last journal know I have had almost zero success with cloning so these clones are a welcome change.

Take a look and tell me what you think..

Hi sonzor truthfully they all look good. Full moon 1 & 2, look like they are going to be outrageous. :surf:

I'm going be doing my next grow allot like yours. Compost tea, topping, the whole works. Will LST them a bit to make em even more bushy.

Good luck with the clones. Allot of people really have a terrible time with clones. OldSkoool as had really good luck with his. I might give his method try it someday.

I think your on your way to a great grow. :cheertwo:

Hi sonzor, great update. Your teas are doing wonderful things for those plants, they all look like they're coming along beautifully. I hope you can stay ahead of them with tea production. lots of new growth every update, they are starting to show the love.
:goodjob:
