Who Let The Dogs Out? Chem Comparison Grow!

We chose Dark Devil and they are a real disappointment so far. I had 4 out of 7 seeds die because the root kept spiralling like a "pigs-tail".
Make sure you start them in their 'Final pot from the get go'. 5 to 10 gallon bag or pot or you will end up with a Spog. In reference to the dda.

So far it is the slowest growing ... and worst germinating strain in my garden.

Hopefully the buds on the plants that survived will bloom well and make up for it.
I've found, the best way to avoid DDa issues.... is to avoid growing it. I just can't see the appeal.
Every time I've seen it grown, it was miserable for the grower. That's not my cup of tea. There's no strain out there that could be good enough to make me suffer 3 months to get it. LoL

I think it's become a cult following, built around a crazy unstable strain.

MHO....

@Preston9mm and @SQl2kGuy it’s strange that this is the first I’m hearing of DDa being a rough grow.. I think I’m still gonna give it a try though.. if these beans would ever get here

I've dropped 5 Dark Devil seeds and had 5 beautiful, healthy, good producing plants. I personally don't smoke the Dark Devil buds as the sativa effect doesn't sit well with me. But I do so love growing it and giving the buds to friends as gifts.

I am actually sitting here at this exact moment looking at my Dark Devil seeds trying to decide which one to germinate. I imagine, as usual, I'll get a beautiful purple plant smelling of flowers and sweet goodness that will produce about 3 zips of dried goodness that I'll be able to share as Christmas gifts.

In the past I've always either grown the DDA in hempy or Promix. This will be my first attempt at growing one in my own homemade organic soil. Looking forward to seeing how it grows and how it smells in the organic soil.

They are still babies and growing slow, but they are on there way at least. I am a bit worried that they are getting off to such a slow start. Usually by this age (2 weeks), I would expect them to be further along.

I wound up keeping all 5 of the Chemdoggings and giving away 2x of the 5x, 4 Assed Monkeys. I dropped a few extra seeds, as I planned for a few of them to fail to germinate, but they all did. I'd like to keep my grow at 12 plants, so I wound up with a few more than I'd like.

These are autos yes?

So guys, I havent posted since I found my seeds. That's cuz the little bugger never popped so I'm popping a new one tonight. So, I will dunk a single chem dawg by Dr. Seeds this evening.

Nice! Sorry about the one that didn't pop, though.

I dont want her to get lonely, so I'm also dunking two Dark devil autos, one fruit punch auto, two Boptang, one SLH, and one chem dawg. Probably two seeds from my mix bag as well. I cant have her getting lonely.
I'm super excited to run that Bop Tang too!
:high-five:

You ain't kidding! I'm pretty stoked myself. One of the reasons I got some of those was because it was so dang frosty in the pics! I want it just for my dab press. Orange-mango dabs sound tasty AF. Plus, I gotta have something that I can use to make @Grandpa Tokin proud you know...

Why you like running autos Preston? Always wondered.
Autos are becoming more & more scarce around here now. Most times, I got the seeds as freebies & plant them to fill gaps in the room. My current group has 2 autos, but they are both of my CBD strains... I don't really need a huge yield from those.
