Who Let The Dogs Out? Chem Comparison Grow!

I really want to order their free 300g promo just to try it but I’m wondering how long I could feed 3 - 3 gal pots and 2 - 5 gal pots with it
Edit: Well I just saw the feeding chart so I could probably do about 7 weeks..

Yes, but I use a three tier system. Main storage is opened once every grow or two, intermediate storage should last through a grow, and the ready use locker, that's opened each time I mix a new batch of nutrient solution. It's good for about five batches. I'd use vacuum for the main storage, and silica packs downstream.

You have a great system... why am I not surprised. :)

I see that shit all the time too!

Dawg instead of Dog. Meh.... I'll probably give it a stripper name anyhow. LoL

I've got some autos coming too.... decisions, decisions ..

Good to know I've only ever seen it spelled Chem dawg cool info .

God damn! Why didn’t anyone tell me it was such a pain in the ass to transplant out of fabric.
I transplanted the two females, one into a five gallon and the other into a three...
Note to self: use 1 gallon fabric pots for sog only

I found that out the hard way when I cleaned out the corpse after harvest. Roots are like Velcro to the fabric pots. Must have been really frustrating. :(

Hey everybody. I need some help. I'm looking for strain suggestions for a very specific set of criteria. My best friend, who's also my ex, suffers from extreme chronic pain. I've been providing her with meds for yrs now and although lots of strains have been effective, I know now exactly what she needs. High thc, really low cbd sativa. Motivating, talkative, pain relieving with no crash. Indoor compatible. 12 week max flowering time. Thanks everyone. :Rasta:

Just did my first application of STS this afternoon - just playing around to see how it works.

When do you apply the STS? I apply the colloidal silver at lights on in the morning and right before lights out in the evening. I think I read somewhere that the best time to apply the STS is right before lights out. I am sure you can check with PW on that.

I've been applying at lights on, as I figure the increased warmth and air flow (some of the fans click on when the lights come on) will help it dry quicker. Yes, @Pennywise has a great link in his signature, and @Old Salt is a couple of weeks ahead of me in his journal using STS. Today was application #2. Will definitely do again tomorrow at lights on. I believe that I keep going until I see male flowers, but I need to refresh my memory on the details of frequency etc. Penny or Salty, feel free to chime in!

I applied it twice a day from three days before the flip to a day after. I applied once more a week later. Now it's wait and see.

So you applied the STS a total of 9 times? That will be amazing if it does the job. If so I'll have to consider experimenting with STS at least one time. I use colloidal silver to reverse plants. The current plant I am working with is a Purple Punch plant. I started applying the CS, with an artist's paint brush, to just one of the lower branches back on June 15th. About three days ago I finally spotted the first boy parts starting to form. Now I apply the CS 7 days prior to flipping the plant and do it at lights on and right before lights out...EVERY DAY....till I see pollen sacks starting to form. So with this Purple Punch I applied the CS right around 56 times total. So I hope you guys using the STS have success.

Hopefully it will work for me. I also applied it with a (makeup) brush. My reading revealed that this was more than what was needed. We'll see.

Thanks to you both! My understanding (only from reading, not from experience) is that STS is more efficient (few applications) and more reliable (higher success rate) than CS, but I have both. Thought I would try the STS for the first time out. Will go back to my notes, but as I recall, while the application frequency might be lower with STS, I believe that the treatments should continue until the pollen-flowers start to appear, at least. I am doing this attempt on an auto, so there is no flip. I just had to guestimate when flowering would start. Two application so far, and no pistils showing yet, so at least I beat flowering on this one - I didn't on the DDA. That one started showing pistils on Day 18, so she is just going to be grown out for bud.

Oh, like Salt, I too am just doing one branch. My "marker" is just a purple pipe cleaner.

Try reaching out to some of the breeder's, and let them know what you are looking for. Some sites, like Seedsman have good search functions which help sort out what you don't want. :goodluck:

Thanks MrSauga. Here's Copper Chem #1 today. Mid week 5.

Place your pots on an upside down 5 gallon bucket. Peel the pot down like peeling a banana. Works like a charm.

Add a zipper before you plant in one if someone handy with a sewing machine.

Another option I read about somewhere.

Chemdawg
Durban Poison

These both are instant pain gone for me. Durban is an acquired taste. Those that like it, love it. Those that don't have panic attacks. lol

It works - less stress on the plants than Colloidal silver. @MagicJim that's what he uses.

Oh yeah - got green light to start swimming again. Woot. I had a ruptured Quad tendon - basically very similar to knee replacement surgery. Complete with drilling holes in my knee cap. That fvcking hurt. Yeah the repair much more painful than the injury. I'm not permanently disabled. Thanks for that.

Comfrey Salve FTW

I got another month before I start PT. :hmmmm:

Good idea, Sauga. I think there is also a "strains and seeds" forum here on 420 that might be another resource for you, @Mj76. Good luck with the hunt!
