i'm surprised you get no buildup over the flower period without flushing at all.
i like the idea of the simplicity, other than nutrifying up 55 gal res every 7-10 days. 2 systems would run a grand though, with the extra pots and shipping. im thinking about it.

Thanks SS. my final wt. is gonna be under par again, but i had a big enough goal that even under par will be enough.

I will pull the wheel tomorrow. I was thinking about it, and I want to compare the hydro with the organic for taste and high differences, so I dont want one to go much longer than the other so the tric maturity is the same. its been a few days of flush. . . I might even take it tonight.

plus I want to get my clones in under the 400 watt MH permanently to veg. . . i have to figure out something reliable for when I go away for the holidays for a few days. Maybe my megagarden under the 400 would do it. just flood the RW once a day. should b simple enough.

finishing them in there is doable, but i wont. I might set it up to feed them while I go away on vacation though. I'm going to do some cloning here soon. . . to get ready for another run.

I did harvest tonight, I will have some pics.
 
Well, here's the wheel harvest. Not very big after losing a bunch, turning a couple male and taking a few early. Mark another mediocre harvest in the bag for the WheeelOoO,

so that's it, everything but the males are trimmed and in the rack. the 2 fe->males are now in the cloner still on a 12/12 schedule. all of my clones are now in veg under the 400w MH, spread out a bit to get some breathing room, and started to do some light lst on the biggest.

the wheel is off, the 600 is off, the res is empty, airstone is not bubbing, pump unplugged. the 600's fan is off. its quiet around here. i like it. ;) the holidays are here, and I'm finally done with this cycle. smoke reports and dry pics yet to come. its very late, time for bed. zzzzzz.
 
Very nice grow Wheelo. I love all of the experimentation that you are willing to take on that furthers all of our knowledge here at 420Mag. I know know you aren't ecstatic about the results weight wise, but I think you did a great grow with a respectable haul that's going to provide some very nice meds for you. Having journaled my first grow, I can appreciate all the time it takes to keep up with posting your results. It has taken a lot of your time and I appreciate you doing it. Happy Holidays and a +rep new year.

it as my pleasure pot. my learning curve shot way up when I came here, and I learned so much through the process that it was really my honor to take part in the activities round here.

this will be my last journal for a while, however, as I need to be able to concentrate on other things now.

your right that i am again mildly disappointed with my yield, but the quality will be top notch, and I have enough reserves now that taking a break will be a welcomed change. I cant wait to get these girls dry and into jars to cure.
 
WOW!! WHEEL great post and grow. The HS is just well sticky lookin and I'm sure is a great high. Congrats on the finish and the scrog. And the vacation from the journal'n is well deserved. The dedication and time that you spent on us, along w/ all your knowledge and taking the time to respond to questioning shows real commitment. you see, its an 8 day period from Dec. 23 (my harvest date) until new years eve where you have to smoke chronic, or holy shit if you are lucky, with as many of your friends as you can. of course eating and drinking and being generally merry is also a requirement.

the scrog dried quickly, and is now curing in 750 ml. jars. the total came to a mere 134 grams = 4.73 oz. @ 400W ~ .34g/w

since the wheel was no where near full i would guess the g/w will be much worse.
 
ahh man.you up late as me. bummer your scrog looked huge..what was the strain u ran?.ll..hope you had a good christmas...this upload is for you you..has you been nagging me for it..lol. jkj heres a fully filled volksgarden..lets see how these things work in the new year... only thing missing is some red ribbon and and christmas ornaments!

the strain is called Holy Shit and is a local clone only. . . my friend has pretty good results with this strain pulling about a pound per 1K. It's a very strong high and will keep you up at night vacuuming and putting around for hours. Makes you rip the doors off of your fridge to get at some goodies about an hour or two after you smoke it.

yeah the scrog was a bummer, but so have all my other grows since getting the wheel so i'm not totally surprised. I am going back to the drawing board, now that I have a lot more experience, i have learned many ways to streamline the work that has to be done, and while I do that, hopefully it will make it easier to do a better job concurrently.

At least you have a nice QP to get you through the next development and implementation phase of the WOF garden. CAP Ebb and Grow all the way man ;) I'll back it and I'm sure a few others will as well.
 
o shit is the word, Oman, start ur journal and wheel be that much closer to our own forum. O and get those clothing pins out to secure ur girls. get used to the sound of rotation as it is music to my ears at this point. happy Chronukkah.
