I may not be the best or most experienced grower out there, but you can definitely count on me to make some mistakes and give an accurate report of what they were, so that you can try to avoid them in the future. lol.

my funds are tight tight tight, so yes you are right, the investment was big for me. impulse buy really, but it moved me from 4 plants to 80 over night. well, after three runs, and not ever yielding close to potential, believe me, i've thought of storage. . . but, my psyche just wont allow me to do that. I rarely give up, and after such a big investment, I am determined.

In the end, I like doing it, I like smoking it, and I hate buying it, so I'm always pleased with my results. and thats what counts the most to me anyways. Now if only our Govt. would get off its ass and legalize it across the board, we could all enjoy our hobby just a little bit more.

another HS bites the dust early, there may be more to follow. i guess i don't know why this is happeneing since i cant fix it. . . any suggestions?
 
based on those roots, I cant believe it made it that far. plants were eating good food, you can tell that by how potent the herb looks from here. but there foundations was weak because of the housing structure (new set up with cubes). like that asian wood going around. O.k wheelo its been awhile since u hit us with some of that good bud porn can we get a glimpse.

who makes it? i would guess the problem is that the nutes are wicking down the stem when they invert, but i'm not sure. . . I'm only watering one spin, and many of them show no sign of the kind of rot. many do though.

yeah, I can take a bunch of pics tomorrow night. tomorrow's the last day at work before I get a month long Vaca. (mostly, i do have to attend a conference in San Fran in Jan.)

yeah, thats why I have the AN full line right now. before this I've used Botanicare CNS17 and Fox Farm. Now that I have enough AN, I'll probably have to do another run for money's sake, but I have no loyalty to any nute above performance. But I don't think it's the nutes, i think its either something that i'm doing, or something I'm not doing right.

oh i dont doubt that at all. H&G's roots excelerator is the most concentrated root nutrient avalable on the market and it will cure any root problem.I use it with Hygrozyme and it makes the roots of any plant ghostly white and healthy. Yeah its expensive but it will work wonders for your roots. But I still am going to have to try your suggestion. Never hurts to try new products, right? So thatnks for the insight into that product.
 
wheel i was saying the nuts your using are fine, the rockwool is were you went wrong, imo. no paper on it, sqeezing it, the color, etc. I can imagine the pressure you put on them sqeezing those over sized cubes into the medium cubes (set up). rockwool if tampered with its going to go bad, and you never no when, its like a sponge that will lockout. lost a few girls this run. water was hitting cube, but i had sqeezed it so much it no longer held or retained water. also the rockwool should be conditioned. one step most dont do.

lolwasn't the best by far and WOF knows it but he also knows it is alot better than looks at bud porn typed on the computer,

HEY WOF can when get sum of that sweet pics of the females oozing secreations out of every calix frosting the leaves like baby powder on a we'll you know where this is going.

oic, now i get ya, well, actually I didn't squeeze or deform any of the RW in any way. just had to cut a bit off the tops on the doubles (two regular sized ones side by side) to let them fit into the wheel, but that one was just a single, so it was run the way omega suggests. . . keeping the sleeve on would be a good idea to block light and let the roots grow in the sides, i just dont like the paper or glue they put on the outside to get them to stay in a row. I've ran them both ways though with and w/o the plastic sleeve.

I didn't condition them, but they didn't have any problems taking to the RW in the beginning which is what i think those conditioners are primarily used for.

There is definitely a buildup on the outside, but I don't run my nutes all that hot. the highest being 1.8 EC, and even on a 700 conversion thats only 1260ppm. not exactly super hot.

yeah, mos def tonight. I just finished my obligations for the year, and I got a nice big break here, got a lot of stuff planned. After this grow, I am going back to the drawing board, buying some new equipment, and coming up with a new master plan. The wheel will prob just sit and wait for the GWS to get big enough to support enough clonage for the wheel. The HS clones will probably go into soil, but my plans aren't totally set yet.

yeah bro, I agree.

It's def worth a shot. I just haven't had any luck with RW. (except cloning and early development) I love the rapid rooter material, and I can barely keep the roots under control in that stuff.

well, last night i noticed i did it again, just one night this time, but had the shutoff valve closed on the feed tube, so they got pretty dry again. . . after this run I am changing everything around to make it WAY easier to do everything. then I will forget little things less often (unless stoned, lol)

anyways as the last week counts down until I take them all, I am gonna keep on taking anyone who looks weak.

Last night was one of the 2 GWS's. . . also had some stem rot and was not happy with the dry medium i gave her. so I took her. i might take a few more. . . plus this will give me some smoke to hold me over. I can tell she really wants to form a big cola, but not this time. next time.

i brushed off the outer crud with my fingers. this one was in a rapidrooter and still had the rot. hmmm.

its not that bad, but i enhanced the color on this one too, to see the bit of burn on the leaves. its not that bad, but looks worse after enhancing lol. you have to really look hard to see it in person.

looks like the stuff that clumps together on the rim of the superthrive bottle
have you cleaned out your pipes in case they might have bacteria inside them thats doing this?
or have you figured out whats causing it?
