WheelOFortune's - first turn

oh no!

my lowryder, the one that the package said 16" max height, is probably close to 16 inches already!!!!

it better stop growing like today. lol, if this size is indicative of all lowryders, i may need to find a shorter auto for the wheel. :(

ill do pics in a bit.

Well... Just remember that they aren't pure ruderalis (if they were, you wouldn't want them lol) and coming from seeds it's always possible that some recessive traits that have not been completely bred out might pop up.

also, my second oldest lr2 is showing sex finally, its another girl! if i had any sts ready id spray her.

yeah, your right tor, i just hope its not stretching because its only getting 12 hours of light. if it is it might get too big.

the second one is getting pretty big as well.

Hmm. That is an interesting question. I know that normal plants stretch (during the first 40%) when we switch to 12/12.

I don't know if anyone has done any experimenting with some of their AFs under 12/12 and some under 18/6 just to observe stretch. Yield, probably. Maybe someone who's done it to check for yield variations kept track of whether the 12/12s stretched more.

I'd be interested to know.

shit! i just wrote alot and then hit my home button and lost it. it was written well too! grr.

yeah, tor,

I am interested in the light cycles of these auto flowers in general,

from what i know, i am under the impression that you can't light poison these guys. this is because the light cycles don't stress the plant because the light does not control the hormones in the plant that control veg/flowering.

if you give these guys very little light, they will still flower tiny little buds. kinda makes me wonder what i could do with a variety like this under cfl in the wheel with like a way denser layout and way less light. if you could get 500 1g buds, that would be sweet. just line the whole inside with those 1.5 starter cubes. and flood up into the wheel)

anyways, light cycles:
what i want to know, is if changing the light cycle could benefit an auto. since it doesn't stress the plant's flower cycle at all, maybe the roots and leaves would thrive more under an augmented cycle (like us navy submariners, lol)
maybe long shifts like:
30 hours on / 6 hours off
or 36 on/ 4 off

or power naps like:
8 hours on / 1 off
or 4 hours on / (1/2) off

i think the plant will still perform different functions between night and day even though the flowering by light cycle gene has been bred out.

i will do some experimenting to find out, buti have to wait until my wheel is full of autos. right now i have all those regulars in there so 12/12 is a must.

this isn't what i wrote the first time. oh well.

They say 16 hours - 18 helps autos yeild alot. i wonder if it took so long for your auto flowers to sex if maybe you could have auto flowers under like 10/14 on/off and keep them in veg longer.

Hey WoF could u do me a favor and post how to make that spray or pm me with it.

Im very glad your plants are looking green agin so it was co2 or was it the ph lvl? or maybe both?

i thought others might want to read this. btw, my tor network is way faster in my windows machine. way way faster.

So I just downloaded the turbutton you talked about and I was wondering how do you tell if its actually working and how can you edit its options? Thanks.

if you have both the torbutton and privoxy installed then you should be good to go. i know it works because i know people in the know at a major university who tell me it works within what it says it does on its website. check it out they are very forthcoming about what it doesn't do.

if you want to check to see for yourself, do a google search for "what is my ip address" and go to one, many wont work at all because the scripts are disabled by privoxy, and the other ones will tell you that your in geremany or spain or china or wherever the last tor server is located.

shit! i just wrote alot and then hit my home button and lost it. it was written well too! grr.

Is now a bad time to tell you that you can just hit ALT-LEFT ARROW to go back to your previous page - including your masterful writings in the message entry box?

At least that's how it works in Firefox.

inferno,

i dont know what my yellowing problem was, except that it was the res. i dont know what was bad with it, so i just tossed it and stated fresh. that solved it and i moved on. that res cycle i borrowed some dutch master 2 part from a friend cause i had no nutes and no money. when i changed the res again i went back to my norm: fox farms.

also, the veg longer idea wont work, because like i said a couple posts ago the light cycle has no effect on the flowering hormones. this is exactly why it is an auto.

i got a digital camera today, but the lights are off so you'll have to wait untill tomorrow for good pics.

here are some pics from earlier today. . .
