What's In Jim's Grow Room?

I'm hearing amazing things about the mango haze Jim. You haven't tried that yet, have you?

That's a really pretty shot of pollen sacks Jim. You should enter that one. It's not a common sight in the galleries. Looks like a true contender for those seeds they give away every month. :battingeyelashes: :Loved

That is a great male pic Jim. Looking good.

Cheers.

Funny that you mention it....I've been working on an entry for creme de la creme contest and sort of forgot about it. It has my other male from last year which is it's so pretty and a little sexually explicit.

You're doing a great job of photo-documenting this process Jim. Some stunning shots there. :high-five:

He be spraying his stuff before the day is out :yahoo:

So right. I isolated him later that day.

Blue Dream Clones Flower Day 25

For the past 2 days I've collected enough pollen to pollinate the chosen 3 ladies so that seed production can begin. I found one of those flopped over this morning so I had to support it. It was a shock to me to feel the weight of those buds when I first raised her from that awkward resting state she had taken. Oh how I wish these were in larger pots.

I did the pollinating over two days using an artist brush. Yesterday morning I looked at it closely and it was all clogged with sticky and pollen. It cleaned up nicely with a little ISO and I finished that part of the project with a clean brush and fresh pollen. The pollen was more difficult to collect than I imagined. I'd guess only 25 pollen sacks were ready at that time which yielded enough if my application was thorough.

The male is in my smaller tent and should provide a bunch of Blue Dream pollen that I can freeze.

In a couple of weeks we should see some evidence of seed production. Today they're up for a big nutrient feeding and that's going to really make these flowers swell. The colas are actually more full than I would have estimated at 25 days. I'm certain these will be done in about 60 days or so with the seeded girls going slightly longer so that seed can be as mature and strong as possible.

Chemdawg in my bowl this morning. It's a great weed if you ever have a chance to grow it.

There ya go Jim. Now the real fun begins. :yahoo: That last shot is a stunner. Good eye buckaroo.

Ahhhh...... Now I can wander with a smile on my face. Good morning Jim. Have a wonderful day, now that you have mine off to the perfect start. :kisstwo:

Blue Dream Clones Flower Day 27

I decided to test smoke the Panama (green pheno) after a 5 month cure. It keeps getting better and the high literally jumps to the head and then mellows. It's not a long lasting high as I went for a second bowl after about an hour. Now I've topped that off with a same age Blue Dream joint. I guess winning the lottery could make my day better.

On to the girls in the tent. I've given these girls more frequent feeding or watering in my feeble attempt to keep them green. Plants and pots were heavy today so it may be that they just don't need the frequent part. They all look good to me and flower formation continues to fill in the branches. This is a great strain for this tree structure as the bud just winds around the apical branch. Those five month old buds I ground this morning were extremely sticky. The tent girls have a wonderful fragrance of rotting fruit and locker room laundry.

Blue Dream Clones Flower Day 30

Today is national Doughnut Day. I'm going to have a bowl of Rice Crispies and a banana.

I meant to mention that outdoor temperatures here have been moderate for this area but we have had some days of 90o+ F and some tent temps up to 84o F. I was thinking that this was fairly high but it's actually a nice zone for the girls.

Those blossoms are filling those gaps which is a healthy sign to me...I guess...who knows?

I've been smoking BD this morning and it really is mellow. Showered and shaved and ready to greet this day!

So here are some pics.

So here's my Blue Dream boy hero. He did such a great job. :goodjob:

But alas, his life will end soon. I'm tired of dealing with pollen.
