What's In Jim's Grow Room?

Looks like seeds are forming. Nice work Jim :D
Thanks.....they don't look so nice so it's just important to me to get them to the finish. It seems like a lot of my life is out of my control. I guess that's not anything new but feels pretty shitty sometimes. I think this virus stuff has a lot of do with that. Oh well, I could go on but I'll just leave it there.

Live life Jim, don’t allow them to hold you hostage.
You got it. Things are changing here. I usually have my second cup of coffee outside. I had to grab a hoodie this morning. High 50s F but I needed my hoodie.

It's a no photo day although I guess I could have taken some shots in the overflow tent. I moved one Carnival cut from solo cup to a 6 in plastic pot. The cut was taken August 4 and is vigorous. The other Carnival cut was taken at the same time and I can finally see one root. Maybe I haven't been watering that one right.

3 Chem 91 x Aliendog Cherry were in solo cups since August 11 were moved to 6 in plastic. Good roots on all of these but every one of them self topped. It just means I'll have to train two stems toward the center. I tied one with two branches up to a bamboo skewer. We'll see how that works.

I hope everyone's day is going well. :bongrip:

It's been raining here since yesterday. East coast remnants of hurricane Sally. Temperature and humidity in the tent is still near the upper boundaries but the girls aren't suffering. I turned the oscillating fan up a notch. It doesn't provide air movement directly on the plants. I bounce the breeze off the side of the tent.

I'm liking the flower formation and growth on everything. Ultra Dog #6 appears to be finishing with a flourish of orange/brown pistils. Her lemon pine scent remains but not as loud as a few days ago. I usually resist getting the loupe out before 40 days so I'll peek at her in 2 days. A taster might be snipped depending on what I find. I'm looking forward to tasting the UD again. I don't regret this Summer grow but I really think these would really be nice looking plants in a better environment.

Ok so I just figured out pollination days for my seeds are the same as Jellium's flower days. I'm not sure her cross with the Alaska Thunder Fuck is the ticket but we'll find out fairly soon here. This flowering of the Jellium mum might just produce a wee bit more herb so maybe if the grower will just do a better job the cross might not even be necessary. What I expect to find is that the progeny will be similar to the ATF parent.

The TK 91 is slowly moving toward her finish and really didn't suffer too much from the heat stress. Carnival looks like crap as the stress reveals quite a leaf curl which I think is severe magnesium soil deficiency. I'll poke around a bit to see what else it might be. Everything in the tent was fed Budswel and liquid calcium this morning.

Early morning wake and bake was a burn out of last night's bowl of Sour Angel topped with a load of Copper Chem. :bongrip:

I think Lembatoast created UD outdoors so it should grow great. Sticky is running it outside this year. Atf leaning cross will be a good one I think
My Ultra Dog #1 outdoor plant was started outside a little early and never amounted to much and never re-vegged. If the prohibition ever ends I'll rent a field and a tractor.

My survivor was pollinated 22 days ago with the others and it'll give me more seeds just from a different phenotype. I had to move her yesterday as the fire pit was needed as a fire pit.

Trichomes of the Ultra Dogs are getting close to perfect. I looked at trichomes this morning and #6 is already quite milky and #5 is not far behind. Scents seem to be getting stronger on #5 and it has that bright lemon and pine with a bit of fuel like zippo lighter fuel. Oh how I love that addition to the mix. #6 is similar but not nearly as intense. At 40 days I'd say that these have about another week to 10 days for some of the trichomes to go from cloudy to amber. I've seen a couple of amber but on older leaves not on calyxes.

If you guys didn't see all the seeds that @beez0404 produced by selfing a Garlic Sherbert by IHG, here's one of the pics he posted. beez had some interesting reviews from his friends and the genetics of this bad one is as interesting as any around right now. You know I have a tough time passing on anything mixed with a good chem and I'm pretty sure IHG has a good one.

Anyway....I've pretty much committed to running a few of these later this year. Also I have 2 beans of IHG's Platinum Garlic so I might as well make it an In House Genetics party. Bloom time for the Garlic Sherbert is 60 to 70 days. For the Platinum Garlic it's 65 to 75 days.
Platinum garlic buddy ..few my girls shots for you so you can see what you going to get.

Thanks Joe...Yeah she's a cutie. I'm definitely going to run her. I have so many great seeds resting in the refrigerator that need a fair chance to show their stuff. One thing is for sure. I'm not going to flower anything next summer.

I like auto flowering plants but especially in the summer. I like that I can leave the front of the tent open with a big oscillating fan blowing into the tent keeping the plants nice and cool.

Well I am watching that out and your ultra dog . Keep up the good work bud .

I got the 60x scope out this morning to look at trichomes of the ATF x Jellium girls. I believe these are the longest trichomes that I've seen since I started looking at them closely. Looking at them with a hand scope is quite different than trying to get pictures for others to view but I was able to blow up a few shots so you can see these. It's not clear to me that there's any great benefit to long trichomes but these are loaded. A few more days and I test them for affect.

I'm still having some late day high temperature and lights off high humidity. Daily inspection required.

The rest of the girls....
