What's In Jim's Grow Room?

looking good in there jim the ud are fast finishers 7-8 weeks usually!
I'm probably going to let everything go at least 8 weeks just to make sure the seeds are mature.

Good news: I heard from my friend Susan and it seems her daughter up in Pittsburgh just became a legal medical marijuana patient up in Pennsylvania.

This week in the area my daily storm moved in every afternoon or evening giving me 2 to 3 tenths of an inch until a couple days ago when I got .7 inch. Out doors the UD #1 still has the spider protecting it from insects but she's going to have to leave here soon. I really don't like spiders much. Pollen was chucked 17 days ago and the outdoor girl was dusted well. She will not have any clean un-seeded flowers and is severely limited by her pot.

The indoor girls are doing much better after their bout with the heat a couple weeks ago. They have +/- 4 weeks to go and I'm relatively sure I'll get them home. There was a good discussion on IG the other day about terpene production and higher growing temperatures. I'm just trying to absorb some of the theories but I can say that Ultra Dog #6 right now is sweet fuel and pine. The pine was more prominent yesterday. The fuel is sweetened by a bit of lemon. Folks....this gets and old man excited here. Ultra Dog #5 isn't producing much more than what I believe is chlorophyll. Both will likely change a little as they go through the various stages of flower maturity.

TK 91 and Carnival have similar puke odors. Time will tell whether they get better or worse. The tent odor was fairly loud last week which was coming from the ATF x Jellium girls. It was rotting something. It's a bit lighter this morning but still rotten. Seed production is in full force. Photography skills didn't show up this morning but photo dumped anyway:

If you guys didn't see all the seeds that @beez0404 produced by selfing a Garlic Sherbert by IHG, here's one of the pics he posted. beez had some interesting reviews from his friends and the genetics of this bad one is as interesting as any around right now. You know I have a tough time passing on anything mixed with a good chem and I'm pretty sure IHG has a good one.

Anyway....I've pretty much committed to running a few of these later this year. Also I have 2 beans of IHG's Platinum Garlic so I might as well make it an In House Genetics party. Bloom time for the Garlic Sherbert is 60 to 70 days. For the Platinum Garlic it's 65 to 75 days.

I grew a Labyrinth plant (retired by Exotic Genetics) a couple years ago that was really powerful back then so I just put the jar in a drawer and haven't smoked much of it because of its potency. Anyway I took a couple of hits and my eyes dried but it really is a good head for a mid-day smoke. I smoked a Chem 91 this morning in my bowl so it was really nice to get a little kick in the afternoon.

Anyway...the label was marked "may have some seeds" and sure enough I found one. Seeded bud always has a slightly different taste and I always thought it had something to do with the calyx development. I didn't really remember how this particular strain got seeded so I checked my seed inventory and saw that I had already collected 3 of these seeds that I had marked "selfed from grow" and had another entry for 40 seeds that were crossed from the Ultra Dog male that was used to make the f3 seeds that I'm currently growing. So now I'm fairly sure that all these seeds are from the UD pollen that went stray.

Also have on my list the 2 original fem seeds. Special stuff there. Pretty too as I remember. Genetics are Spirit in the Sky x The Cube.

I felt like I had a hangover this morning so maybe that's why Labyrinth sits in her jar in the drawer.

WGA - World's Greatest Aroma.

Ultra Dog #6 is peaking. She's a solid very bright lemon with a balanced amount of Pine. Truly to me the world's greatest aroma which is special to cannabis. I've heard some refer to this as lemon cleaner. I was pulling a burned embedded fan. I brushed a knuckle against her. She's a bit sticky as well as fragrant.

Ultra Dog #5 is similar but less pronounced and might have a slight nutty flavor to its scent.

So here's all the photos I took this morning. I used a shooting stick under the camera because I started with a friend's Copper Chem. 3 tiny buds left and it's certainly an impressive start of the day with a nice body buzz. I have my friend's cross of it mixed with Dosi-do. Yum

Carnival and the Ultra Dogs look like crap but I'll get them to the finish as long as that heat doesn't return. I'll be making space in the overflow tent if I decide to re-veg either of them. You can see pistils on #6 already beginning a little fade as about 1/3 of those not pollinated are browning.

Have a great day folks. :bongrip:

I'm going to spotlight the ATF x Jellium crosses this morning just so I can bitch about having to buy the truck a new battery this morning. It seems like there's something all the time that wants to bite me on the ass. Oh well....things have got to get better one of these days.

Pollination was only 19 days ago so in a couple of weeks the seeds should be mature. She's been in flower 36 days and I'll just have to see when this should be harvested. In all likelihood I'll just wait until I see some amber and take it then. In the meantime, I'm loving the fading color of the remaining fans.
