What's In Jim's Grow Room?

Brushing the North Carolina coast today is tropical storm Arthur. This is two weeks ahead of the tropical storm/hurricane season which is predicted to be active. Just because these little ones have already been beaten enough, I decided to bring them in and let them enjoy a bit of artificial light. Leaves are still wet from the rain we had earlier. I'm 150 miles inland so I just expect some rain and an extra windy day so it gives me a chance to enjoy them a bit.

Of the four in the 6 inch pots I don't see any distinct differences which I guess makes sense for F3 seeds. I went ahead and tagged these this morning but they are in the same order that they were previously photographed. I think what I'll do is plant these 4 outside one day this week and flower the other 3 indoors beginning real soon. My new carbon filter is expected tomorrow and I built new hangers for the new lamp so all that is ready to go once the filter is here.

Stay safe folks....stay medicated. :bongrip:

How the heck do you expect UD #5, #6, and #7 to grow worth a darn if you don't give them a number? They feel left out and unwanted just because they're struggling to bounce back from your torturing of them when they were wee ones?

I've checked out the @Budget LED lights and from what I can tell they've got it going on. I'm going to set up a 3x3 tent to use for reversing or autos and am considering one of their lights.
Man you will Not go wrong with @Budget LED lights. I LOVE mine. I really cant say how mine will do for a full run yet. this run will tell the story but I am pretty sure I will be Happy with them. I added one at a time last grow but they did a great job so I am expecting some Great things this grow

Things are coming along well for you it seems, Jim. What size pots are you thinking to flower out 5, 6, and 7?

what’s the deal with that one dark purple leaf on the BCP?

I've been running 2 gallon softies for 2 years now. I've got some 5s and 7s but they don't have handles. Believe it or not, handles make a difference once you get my age. I may spend some money and buy some 3 gallon softies. If I continue to attempt to run organic I may have to spend some money on some nectar.

I don't know what's up with a purple leaf. Probably a root hit a new mineral under the soil that it didn't like. When my Jellium leaves turn purple they will soon die so maybe that one will die next week.

It’s funny how these plants react. My cookies n chem mom had some leaves that sorta did that

do you know someone with a sewing machine? That could sew some handles on for you

Actually...I own a sewing machine and I tried this once before with little success. It's probably easy for those who know their way around a machine like this but I truly am a rookie in this area.

I tore the front end of my truck apart last week to replace headlamps with only a few hitches but sewing is not much fun to me.

On a brighter note....I dropped some seeds tonight for this Summer run with the new light.

I have 2 Carnival seeds bred by Ministry of Cannabis. Now I've smoked this and it's pretty peppy. Supposed to be an Amnesia Haze mom and a mostly sativa father thought to be a Jack Herer per their web site. Any way...I dropped the lighter of the two seeds. I'm growing this for a friend and I may use a 4 gallon plastic pot here.

Maples Thai bred by Illuminati which is Dutch Flowers' Lemon Thai (indica dominant cut) x Pestilence. Pestilence is a cross of Abusive OG Kush and West Coast Dawg.

The other seed I dropped is TK 91. Bred by Cannarado, TK 91 is Triangle Kush x Chem 91. This one is also a lighter colored seed and I hope she will pop.

I took 3 cuts of Jellium here recently and I'll run the mom along with this other stuff if things work out.

Anyway....as always these plans are subject to change if seeds don't pop. Some may have some age on them as they were all gifted. We shall see. :bongrip:

I'm doing a Carnival plant now. I can give you a head's up on what to expect so far, but I'm still not sure how it's going to end up yet. It seems pretty grower friendly, but I think it may stretch a bit. I topped it and cloned that top; so far the clone hasn't wilted (resilient).
My next seed perches is going to be Carnival any particular breeder I should look for and if so what seedbank carries them?

My new carbon filter came today and I was eager to install that thing. So far my previous experience has been that they last a couple of years although I know of people running them longer.

The top of the tent is over-engineered but it's fairly neat.

When I took the light out I stepped on some bubble wrap and it scared me pretty good.

The remains of tropical storm Arthur just brought wind and rain all day. Forecasters say up to 4 inches for the week. So the little seedlings have been indoors for a second day. All look bright and happy.

Over in the 3 x 3 the Jellium is showing off lots of color. I believe much of this is caused by a root bound condition and sometime infrequent watering by the grower.

The next two are the Black Cherry Punch clones to replace the mom who left a few weeks ago. Anyway, they should have rooted at approximately the same time but one stretched a bit while the other looks to be squatting in the solo cup.

Finishing my day with Peyote Critical grown by Sticky. If you like a bit of cat piss skunk, that's what I got when I broke the bud by hand. The taste reminded me of mushrooms but that might be just what I was thinking about. Good stuff with a nice whack to the head right after the exhale.
