West Coast Diesel: First Grow Journal - Would Love Some Insight

I've never understood how feed water feed water works from a plant nutrition standpoint. Is there so much in the feed time that it lasts through the next watering? What do they expect to happen when you give the plant plain water?

I feed my plants every water, which means every day now.
yup those are pretty much all the questions i have to 😂

As for the nutrients im using this year the dry amendment is to strong to feed every watering. But yea deff confusing when it comes to feeding and watering.

I do the same. 🍋

To hot in nutrients which would cause nute burn or nitrogen toxicity.
Weird that they would make a product that was too hot and advise to use it every other time rather than make it half as strong (or recommend a lower dilution) so it can be used every time! No money lost in sales but easier to use.

6-8-12 doesn't seem to hot to me though the mix is low in magnesium and has no sulfur, which plays a part in terpene development.

yea i was little confused when my buddies dad was explaining it in the hydro shop.

As for the NPK i will do some more research on the mag and sulfur as i never heard about terpene development with sulfur.

Thanks again shed

"Select the correct fertilizers: Certain brands of bottled chemical feeds can increase terpene levels in plants, too. That’s because these particular products contain elements (like sulfur), which seem to aid in the production of terpenes. Specialized fertilizers will even be marketed as promoting terpene levels."

"A new study is offering one of the most comprehensive investigations ever conducted into the chemical origins of cannabis' unique “skunk-like” smell. The study reveals an entirely new family of sulfur compounds accounts for the novel odor..."

Morning fellow 420ers woke up to some light rain/ overcast. Cant complain since the plants can use all the water they can get right now.

Came home last night to the plants still dry little bit so ended up doing a soak yesterday evening. Gave the west coasts just under 10 gallons spread out into 4 watering sessions about 8 litres 30 minutes or so. By the end of the soaking all the pots were wet at the bottom of the pots.

Upon waking up this morning could tell they have perked up slightly so will continue to monitor and if needed soak again tonight.

Morning fellow 420ers another nice morning today. Plants went without watering yesterday since they were still little moist. Ended up spraying the plants last night to prevent any bugs or mildew.

Woke up this morning to slightly dry pots. Ended up watering each of the west coasts haft there normal watering due to time. Each plant got 15L this morning. Will water another 15L this evening.

Seems that the west coasts are not drooping nearly as much, still not fully perked up but will up the water dosage again if it doesnt improve.

Morning fellow 420ers had a big storm last night so thankful the plants are doing alright. Been watering roughly 40 litres per day 15 litres in the morning and another 25 litres in the evening.

Went out to take a look at the plants this morning and found what looks to be some kind of bug eggs on one of my fan leaves of one of the west coasts.

Just wondering if anyone knows what this was and if so any way to treat it?
