West Coast Diesel: First Grow Journal - Would Love Some Insight

Love that last pic with the two tops đź‘Śđź‘Ś
Thanks grenvein the peanutbutter haze isnt growing as big as id hoped the west coasts have pretty much the same size and have caught up

The genetics look like its a pretty strong strain towards weather conditions though very rarely will be drooping or looking sad. Just might have been to mature and doesnt wanna grow to much more before it starts flowering

They are huge and beautiful. :thumb: :goodjob:

For a split branch, you can just tape it back up if you catch it early enough before the split starts to callous over. Some use electrical tape and maybe a splint if it's bad enough.
Hey azimuth sorry for the delayed response, it was a bad snap and was a lower branch so i snipped it normally id try and recover it but wasnt worth the time.

Good morning fellow 420ers hope everyone had a great weekend. Looking at weather this week looks like its going to some decent weather. With all the scatted rain has been making it tougher to feed.

All the plants were fed mid week last week and watered them yesterday going to feed in the day or so another 5, 10 gallons of green rush.

All the plants are looking healthy and starting to look like they are beginning to go through there stretch hopefully well get another few weeks of veg.

Starting to notice one west coast is becoming quite a bit lighter green then the remaning west coast diesels. Looking like it could be due to a nitrogen deficiency but cant say forsure yet still doing some diagnostic on what can be causing it.

Looks like a glorious summer out there Newb!
Had one lower branch snap off due to the wind off one of my west coasts.
LOL sorry I forgot that was the name of one of your varieties and thought "what country has more than one west coast?"
Been doing some research on what i can put on to seal the crack in the stock if anyone has any information on that would be great.
After taping and splinting like Azi mentioned I use Elmer's white glue to seal any cracks and keep the bugs and infections out.

Haha yea west coasts are one of the strains and thats cool hack for the cracked branches

Morning fellow 420ers mid week update the plants are drinking water like crazy 5 gallons every other day been getting behind on watering.

Hasnt been the best week for them since they been drooping and sad for the past week now. I figure it from under-watering but cant say forsure pots have been drying out very quickly might need to start feeding 6-7 gallons per plant.

If anyone can any insight on what it might be that would be greatly appreciated.

Hope everyone has a good long weekend.

I water my 7 gallon pots with at least 1 gallon/day in flower. Are you using a similar multiplier? Also, do you get the sense the roots are using the entire pot - I mean can you still feel loose soil on the inside edge of the pot where it feels like fresh soil?

Also they look a little hungry in the sunny shots but that might just be the lighting. Are they still on top-dressing of Miracle Grow?

Hey shed

I am watering around 5 gallons every 2-3 days for the 65 gallon pots ans 10gallon every 2-3 days for the 100 gallon pot.

As for miracle grow havent used since before the transplant. I ran out of my greenrush grow so they havent been fed in past 2 waterings getting some more this weekend.

We got good rain last night and gonna water them another 5,10 gallons tonight since i might not be around the house much this weekend
