Welcome To My New Journal - OMMSOG

Wow, cohorts... What a short sighted idea by our ever brilliant powers that be. I'll bet that was very frustrating!

About Jo's ex. I had to like the post not for his evil-doings, but for the karma that "befell" him with the house. What a douchebag - may the little puke rot in hell!

Real men don't terrorize women and little girls over their own insecurities and short-comings. Unfortunately, some of these losers end up in positions of power -- false power given to them, not earned, and... abused? Endlessly.

Day 21.....Defoliation Day

The last year or so it has become a consensus by most of the growers on 420 to defoliate our plants on the 21st day of flower and then later on the 45th day we do it again. This first defoliation has the purpose of removing fan leaves that are covering bud sites. The more light, the more buds and better buds. :high-five:

The following pictures are of my girls before and after the defoliation.

Here we go!

Well there you have it. Another reason we defoliate is the plant uses the energy normally given to maintaining the fan leaves is now given to the bud sites. Any questions fire away! :thumb:

Note, yes I raised the lights for the Lemon Skunk and Lucy. :surf:

Absolutely X You are so correct. Unfortunately he survived the house. :smokin2:

Hi OMM,

You're garden looks wonderful...so glad WR has recovered...yes I noticed your comment...do you know how I can move those charts to my blog?

Is this the first time you defoliated your girls?

Sounds like Jo has a bunch of stories too...probably not so fun tho!

How's that outside plant? Still there? Good luck with that! Hopefully nobody will see her and she'll finish big a beautiful.

Take care...Hi to Jo

:peace:

Hell I'm puttin mine on stripper poles in veg too! Bend & Strip, Strip & Bend!

The problem I have is the cops don't want to admit they are human like everyone else. They suffer from greed and evil doings as well, as much as you or I any way. I am sick of this primadonna hero crap!!!

You can earn my respect, but you won't get far demanding it...

or as we said in the military, "I must respect the rank, but I don't have to respect the man"

EXACTLY!! I was raised to respect those around me, later that morphed to something else. "Respect the rank, not the man" really sums that up. Those that command respect through actions, get it; those that demand it with words, get something entirely different.

:amen: Brother! Jo was married to a bad cop for 17 years. A real ass of a man.
He actually held a gun to his son's head. He screwed his daughter and she's still screwed up about it. The stories that Jo has told are scary as hell. He was fired over and over from many police departments. She finally hid enough money away to finally get away from him. It took years for her to trust any man.
I met him once...he was a little fart in a leisure suit. I almost laughed in his face.

Later he remarried and decided to build a basement in his new house for his new wife. He dug the hole and the house fell on him, :bravo:
Gives new meaning to "digging your own grave" doesn't it?!

Just me....but I count the day I flip the switch as day one of flower. Tell the truth it's easier for me that way. Truthfully, that's probably why my girls take a bit longer to finish. Doesn't matter, I go by how much amber is present at the end. :Namaste:
I'm a little weird on that point, I guess. The day I remove the hour from the GLR at night is Day0 of flower, or the last day of veg, since flowering was interrupted last night with light. The first night with no hour of light precedes Day1 of Flower for me... So Day1 is the day AFTER I flip. If that makes any sense to anyone but me, I'll be happy.

Nice show of restraint there, friend! I saw a few leaves I'd have trimmed left, but I took a good look and decided with you on leaving it... This is one area that I have to really be careful, I get to snipping and there go all the leaves that would be okay left alone, or with a tuck.

Hey, Brother! Great stories, great plants & good information! No wonder you have the fastest growing journal on :420:
+REPS!

Thank You Mr. Krip. :thumb: That's high praise coming from one of the most respected growers on 420.

Thanks for the +reps too!
:thankyou:

Hi sqwheels. :high-five:
Sorry, I've never even been to a blog....so no help here. Maybe some one else can help you that is reading along with us.

No, I've defoliated before, but this time I got serious about it.

Yes, poor Jo has many nightmare stories to tell. The bastard would cheat on her and tell her all about it. What was a trip, back then she was a knock out beauty......not that she isn't now.

There are two little girls outside now. I added the little Hawaiian plant that was not doing much at all indoors. I'll get some pictures up of them for you.

I'll tell Jo Hi for you. :thumb:

You take care too! :surf:

Hey BID ! Thanks for looking in......I know your there my Friend. Takes me a bit of reading too, it's great! :surf:

Hi Jandre. :thumb:

Yep, I give them 24 hours of darkness and then flip em into flower. That's cool you start your count a day later. What ever works for us! So your doing the GLR.......The lights go off for short periods here and screws up my timers, so I don't do it. Hope your feeling good! :high-five:
