Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

Yeah...I think we have enough seeds...this is just the photos

That's exactly what we are doing right now breeding hoping for some self pollination of the dda. The plan is not have to buy the strains we have currently again. :thumb:

sorry for all the questions but this has me so intrigued. So you can just spray that stuff on the exact bud you want seeds from and the rest of the plant will be seedless? and where do you buy it at?

It's totally cool to ask questions so ask all you want. If canna or I can't answer it someone from this awesome community can. That's the beauty of 420 mag.

As for the making feminized seeds where you spray it is where the pollen sacs will for and give you female pollen. The seeds will form on the other buds buds by brushing pollen on them or by it just being airborne. Also one thing to remember is that buds sprayed in this way of any manner can NOT be consumed. After we are done with this round I plan on making a tutorial on it even though there are many of them out there but I feel they lack some information.

We got our supplies for this off of one of the major websites that could also be "a rain Forrest or jungle". :thumb:

thanks for the clarification I misunderstood the process. I thought the nitrate caused the seeds but it's basically making the plant a hermie so it can produce pollen. Do People just sell Male Pollen?

Happy harvests..
I will be joining when I have managed to make my firs buy..so I can pollinate and make seeds too :)

Re: Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

One day we will get it...one day. I just want the damn shirt and a nug jar lol.

Edit - oh and the magic butter machine. We have tons of seeds so don't really need that and going high brix so don't need the nutes. So yup...just the shirt and the jar. But the title would be awesome as well. .
Contests are fun, but we know the real enjoyment is in growing. A good harvest is my contest win. Have a great day C&N. Oh, check out my new topic I'm learning. So, my plants have been using far more water then I'm used to giving. I'm at every other day in soil with #5's. Moreover, it all started when I added pro teht to my nutes (K Potash)

Potassium for crop production : : Nutrient management: University of Minnesota Extension

Cheers

I don't know what's up with this girl, but she hasn't grown since she popped.

This is the Pineapple Express Auto that Nis is in charge of. He's wanted this strain for some time now. If memory serves me correctly, we had it ordered a while ago but the breeder was out and it was replaced with a different strain.

DDA. She is one of the few plants we didn't top. She is tall and skinny. Her bud sites are very pretty. I just love the purple colors. Its such a welcome contrast to the green.

Here are a few pics I snapped of the herbal aromatherapy body crème. I ended up adding an aloe infused coconut oil to the crème. I also added some Herbal E/O to the crème for healing purposes and for the wonderful aroma. After I cooled it the first time, the consistency was kind of heavy and greasy. I reheated the crème and whipped it it in a bowl over a bag of ice. The texture is amazing, and the feel isn't so greasy.

I caution against calling it 'making a hermie'. That's not what happens. Hermies are genetically weak plants. We're not weakening, or even changing the genes. In fact, good genetics can be hard to get to reverse and successfully produce pollen. Weak genes will either grow male flowers no matter what or will be easily stress into it.

Man am I excited to see you guys turn out beauties with DBHBB. For real.
Awesome ! Very cool for you and us, too.

So Heirloom, if I get this straight a genetically weak plant will hermie. Now at the other end of this would be a genetically strong plant; is there a plant that cannot be turned ?
I ask because I have a light issue for a few days now (Strobing) and some of the random bagseed females, I culled to flower out, hermied a coupla days ago. I have a NL I got from clone and have since taken many clones from and all that have been exposed to Strobing flower for 12/12 have held up well so far. Also, a Blueberry Headband seed that I got from dispensary (female) is well too.
Just curious.

Hi Jacob-

I don't have a good answer for the question in red. I have not come across one yet, but I have not been reversing for very long either. I've read tales of plants that would not turn, but in my mind their recipes or methods were suspect.

The strongest I've reversed yet is HSO blue dream. She fought it tooth and nail.

As for your bagseed hermies, we have no way of knowing what those genetics are. So there is no way to know if they were weak and strobe stressed into making pollen sacks, or just going to do it anyways.

Some genetics are very sensitive to light changes. When I grew the original clone only blue dream, it did not like GLR (gas lamp routine) lighting AT ALL. Started doing all sorts of wonky stuff until I put her under 24hr for a couple weeks to straighten her out. NL is a rock solid strain, I wouldn't expect you to have problems. Have not tried BBHB, but if it's not stressing, then more power to ya.

Man I put my foot in my mouth a lil too fast. Looks like BBHB is on the way of change now too.:yikes:
As of a minute ago when I checked.
S okay though I loved watching this happen first hand. There's virtually no loss here. So even more facinating are the things I am going to try now. If in fact the BBHB goes to herm I will attempt to graft a NL cutting to the root system or more than one if I feel like I can. I'm havin the time of my life here.

Re: Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

Morning Nis and Canna, your ladies are looking Awesome of course. Going to try the same kit for one of our next runs, have to play it by ear but it will be very soon. Gonna have to get that step by step making for that cream for my wife :cheertwo:

:passitleft: passin it over
High there Arctic! We are pretty excited about the kit too! Now we just need the soil to get here. Lol!

The hand Cream I made started with Sue's recipe. It works well by itself, but the inquisitive side in me made me want to see if I could add beneficial ingredients to help with certain ailments.

The way I infused the aloe powder into the coconut oil is similar to how I make cannabutter. I took the aloe and dissolved it in water. 2 tsp aloe to 2c. Water. That was put in a small croc pot on warm. Then I added the coconut oil. 8 tbsp. I let it stay on warm overnight. I strained the mix the best I could in a coffee filter. Then put the mix in the fridge to cool and seperate.

The next morning I took the mix out. The top is the aloe infused coconut oil, the bottom is water. I used a warm butter knife to scrape the edges so I could slide out the coconut puck.

420-magazine-mobile1906650205.jpg

Added 2 Tbsp of the coconut aloe oil to the cream mix from Sue. Then I added another 2 tbsp of beeswax, and the E/O I wanted. Let it melt together.

Then I put the mix in a glass bowl and set it on a bag of ice to cool the mix quickly while I blended it to get it fluffy.

If you have any questions about this, just ask away. I'll be happy to help!
