Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

I use the hell out of the camera on my phone. I use it for my real work and snap at least 40 photos a day with it.
Recently, I upgraded my phone/camera. My old phone was about 4 years old. I was really impressed with how much better the camera is. Sure, it's still an android camera thingy that sucks to do anything slightly fancy, but it's overall picture quality is just much better.
Apparently camera-phones have gotten a touch better over the last few years.
Of course, if I want really nice photos, I still gotta dig out the real camera and twist some knobs.

2cents.

I agree with you totally. I have the Samsung S7 edge and the camera is a phenomenal for being a phone. But when you see some of the pictures put up here are just amazing. Frosty bud pictures is what I want to get. Ones that honestly give you cotton mouth without even smoking it.

Sorry Canna :passitleft:

I agree with this 420%!

What Canna has me curious about (YOU started it, Canna! :cheesygrinsmiley:) is how time & temp get effected. For example, if you get 95% decarboxylation at 180*F in two hours doing it "dry", how long would you need to decarb in oil at 180*F to get the same 95% decarboxylation? That question is somewhat rhetorical, unless anyone has the answer, but an interesting question none-the-less.

We have been wanting to get away from using our phones as well and boy am I glad we did. I just love being able to focus everything myself and not have to rely on the camera guessing what I want to take a picture of. Also being able to change the ISO will give you some awesome clear pictures. Canna took some nug shots last night while I was recovering from a migraine and they are badass. I'll say early afternoon today (CDT) and we will just upload a ton of pictures. :thumb:

Migraines suck. I don't get them, but my daughter does. Since she started using the Med GOM 1.0 (2:1 CBD:THC ratio) she hasn't had one hit at all, a dramatic turn-around for her. I pulled the info from the dosing thread as pertained to migraines. Maybe it'll help you find a way to keep yours at bay too. My daughter takes one capsule of CBD oil three times a day now and uses the vaporizer for breakthrough, but, as stated, she hasn't had one now in over a month.

Migraines

It's easier to prevent migraines than it is to treat them. Dr. Frankel's discovered that a small dose of CBD during the day, every day, will keep most migraines at bay.

If you have a migraine chose a strain with a higher THC ratio.

If you're having a really brutal migraine increase the THC value, at least a 1:1 ratio, but probably higher. Every person is individual.

Pictures look great so far Nis! It sure is nice being able to use a camera and set everything the way you want it. I felt exactly how you feel about taking pictures and wanting to be able to get clarity right where I want it and focus on certain objects. On top of that being able to change all of the different settings for the different lighting, colors and so on. I am more than impressed with my Samsung NX2000, that's how I got all of my frosty nug pictures that you are looking for. A good soft flash and the clarity of a 23 megapixel camera with the proper light settings and focus will give you some awesome looking nug and close up plant shots.

Will be looking forward to seeing all the pictures later on today that you 2 plan to take and upload :) Keep up the good work guys!

Yeah I was fine then went into our greenhouse to fed the veggies and all of a sudden it was like a strobe light was going off. Then went into the GR and smoked a bit but it wasn't working fast enough so went and buried my head into the darkest place in the house and took a nap. It then tapered off and was manageable.

One thing that I have noticed about the capsules is that it has almost the opposite effect of smoking or vaping. The purple kush we have is definately an evening med and is very relaxing. When it is an oil with dabs and the capsules it makes you energetic. I took 2 capsules and cleaned the entire house. It was very motivating.

Thanks for the info sue and we actually picked up a 2:1 strain and will be posting our most recent haul in a bit. :thumb: :passitleft:

You guys are kicking butt, things are looking fantastic and maybe one day we will get to this point as well. Still more reading to do to catch up on the tread but truly a fantastic job!!!!
Thanks and welcome to the journal! We are not afraid to try new things. I know we won't be the best at them right now, but we just want to find out the best and most efficient way of doing things are. One day we will settle down on soil, DWC, soil less mix, or high brix.

The breeding part will be extremely fun in the fact that we will have custom strains and will eventually become independent from seed banks unless we want new strains. Don't get me wrong they are awesome but paying $10 a seed on average gets expensive.

There are plenty of people here with years of knowledge and experience that will be more than willing to help. Enjoy! :passitleft:

Pictures have been taken and now doing some playing around on the computer. It's been a while since I've played with pictures like this and it's fun. Oh technology. :laughtwo:

Hey Nismo an Canna just a quick question for you guys, yea I know, probably 1st of millions. We got some Purple Kush and Green Crack fem seeds from CKS, the green crack germinate just fine following the instructions provided but we are having difficulty with the Purple Kush. We had one of three crack and give a tap root other two nothing. Dropped 2 more in cup of water then after 18 hours too paper towel method. It's been 3 days on moist paper towel and still no action. Any tricks to these guys you can share?

The green crack seedlings are also taller than the one purple Kush that we have going in soil. Not sure if that's just how each strain starts off and it's normal or not. I've looked at a few photos from a member here purple Kush and our little one looks pretty much the same, green crack about two inches taller. These are all like a week and a half old from seed.

Re: Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

Wow I'm caught up again after being away a couple days. This journal is far more than a grow journal, it's turning into a technical resource. Thanks to ALL who have participated in sharing such great information. Gus

We had zero issues with our purple kush went 4 for 4. But what we have been doing when we go to soak them we add a cap full of hydrogen peroxide to 16 ounces of water and use that for the soaking water. Then use the same water when you go to do the paper towel. When you have it on the paper towel, you need no standing water and it just needs to be moist. We use a seedling mat at 76 degrees but you can put the plate on top of a cable box or something similar. A little bit of indirect heat around that temp helps also.

The purple kush is a hearty plant and is awesome to grow. The green Crack we have is absolutely a grower and took a topping quite well for an auto. If you have any other questions don't be afraid to ask. :thumb:

Garden Update!

Well here we go with a large picture update. We had a little bit of fun with the camera and photoshop. I cleaned up most of the pictures from the blurple from the LEDs so they are as close to the real color they are.

In the veg room we did a bunch of LST and defoliating and a little accidental dismembering. It happens but I wish it didn't happen on a side by side comparison plant. Meh. I tried to get all of their name tags in with the pictures so I don't have to name them on here lol. Just a little lazy today since in the last 12 hours this is the first time we have sat down today. Enjoy!

Now we will go to the most exciting room of them all here...the flower room. Everyone is looking fantastic. The 3 girls that were back built last weekend took it quite well and have started to bulk up quite well. They are at 5 weeks as of yesterday so we will start to watch for the trichomes to start changing within the next couple of weeks. Enjoy!

We made sure to get a CBD dominant straint of 2:1 so we opted for their CB Dutch Treat

Then we had to get some White Cookies...has to be delicious!

That's all I have for tonight and there shall be an auto update a little while later if not tomorrow. Just ate a brownie and am about to melt into my recliner :riskybusiness:

Stay classy everyone.

Lookin good! Fun playin with new toys...

Oh my fricken goodness. What the heck. I remember a 4x2, right? Limping through and thinking 30 g dry plants were big, ect. You two have the show going now.

1) beautiful, amazingly doing well Flux.

2) multiple light types (combo runs LED,HPS)

3) Seeding great crosses.

I could go on. You two need to pack up the house and relocate to Medford, Grants Pass, or similar. Open up a legit breeding company and or grow ranch. Because I believe all of your past hobbies are no longer up front. If you enjoy your work and are good at it you should do it for a living. Those two towns have land cheap, mid $200,000 for house and 4 to 6 acres.

Cheers
