We dropped another DDA last night for the breeding project. I just hope she will be 4 weeks or so before flowering kicks in so the clones will be ready for 12/12 at the same time.

I'm thankful that we have the room for all of our babies. We will have quite the variety to play around with here in a couple weeks. Girls in flower are starting to pick up the pace quite a bit so back building will happen this weekend I'm thinking.

Should be an interesting attempt with the breeding of a photo with an auto. What is your plan of action Nismo?
Well I plan on spraying a couple branches of the DDA with collodial silver and just have the carnival clones in the tent with them. Once pollen sacks start showing and opening up, I'll scoop some up for later use and spread some around on the carnivals. That way we will have some Devils Carnival Auto and some more DDA seeds. We have a little while until the plan needs be concrete but we are making progress. I don't think it'll be too difficult for the pollination to take place with autos and photos. Looks like I'll be scrolling through the breeding journals tonight.

It is exciting to think that we will create one hell of a strain that I'm surprised hasn't been done yet, to my knowledge. It'll be some great morning smoke. I'll make sure to keep plenty of notes and share them with you all so you can free yourself from the seed banks if you want to. We have plenty of strains currently, but will want to make seeds of all of our strains so we have a supply.

On another note, it has made the news where I grew up that one of my friends in high school has muscular dystrophy and the doctors are denying him his legal right to medical marijuana. The doctors don't want to be known as "the pot doctor." He is confined to a wheel chair and has to buy it off the street illegally. It is just sad that they won't help him, even though there is a giant grow op a few miles away, he has to have opiate pain meds that make him sick. Hope everything gets settled out soon.

Hey nis , listen man I'm in total awe of the knowledge displayed here by 420 folk. I wish I could follow but this is WAY beyond my Smoking Grade as of this time. I'm stopping in to ask you to take a look at the last post in my journal. I won't clutter up your page with my pleas for knowledge and wisdom.

So, if you could or anyone interested in helping a "Newthusiastic" fella out, stop on by for a quick peek.
Thanks for letting me plug my journal here.

Signed,
Total Awe

You two are on fire. If you get some DDA X (Whatever), I'm down for second opinion grow. Unbiased of course.

Cheers

We really want to cross it with the carnival. I believe it will make Sue's day if we can. Then it would make her day 10 fold when we can ship some to her.
So keep your fingers crossed that we can pull this off!!

Great job y'all! I'm eager to see the breeding process play out

So far we have all of the pieces to the puzzle, just waiting on the girls to get older and start flowering. It will open up tons of opportunities and will be a ton of fun. We will have to be cautious about not spreading the pollen to the flower room. It is 2 floors away and the breeding room will be our last stop during our rounds and then shower and change clothes. Not going to risk it. Once enough pollen is recovered, those branches will be chopped off and disposed of. Don't even want it in the composter.

In about a month we should be starting the collodial silver applications and go from there.

Wooho! Should be a fun adventure up and coming soon. Best of luck with this! I will be interested to see how well it turns out for both of you. :)

It's super exciting! I just hope we don't disappoint all of you.

You 2 will never disappoint anyone! We will all learn valuable lessons here regardless of the outcome of any project. Most importantly, don't ever feel disappointed in yourselves, both of you will also be learning lessons which should be seen as some sort of accomplishment! :)

Well when you say it like that, it makes perfect sense. :thanks: Dick!

Re: Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

I'll start off by saying that this is not the update I had planned. I guess during transfer process my pictures decided to corrupt. The lights are off so I'll get some tomorrow. Damn camera.

Everyone got a good healthy feeding. No one has showed any real signs of nute burn and we are running 1800-2000 ppm depending on what what week of the schedule they get.

Sparkle got put into her final 15 gallon home. Quick tip, if using smart pots, make sure you cut them and add velcro or some other fancy fastening method. We had to cut the 7 gallon since we thought it was going to be the final pot. I took some awesome pictures of the roots also. She wasn't root bound but she had roots all over the place. Putting her in a bigger pot was a smart move.

The carnival clones are looking great. They honestly look like were never cut off to become clones. They will be more than ready for breeding time!

Talking about breeding, the second dark devil Auto had a killer tap root and was dropped into the soil. She will show her face Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.

Seedlings are fantastic. The first round of topping has commenced and quite a few of them will be up potted this weekend. 3 gallons for photos and 5 gallons for autos.

The flower room is doing great. Friday will mark the beginning of week 4 since Flowers have formed. Everyone is looking lush and very healthy. Oh and the damn Super silver haze after raising the light and rotating her so that she wasn't into the reflector, she decided to stretch like 4 inches today on another top and is now getting closer. She was about 18" tall going into flower. She is about 3' now and isn't slowing down. Everyone knows that sativas are taller, but she took off like a rocket. Lesson learned on keeping them small. I thought she was short enough. She can get 6' tall and still have room with the lights.

That's all I have for this evening. Tomorrow I'll do a massive photo dump for ya to make it up to everyone. Hope everyone enjoyed their hump day :woohoo:

See ya tomorrow :passitleft:
