Thanks RTK! We are really excited to see how the nugs turn out when they are dried and ready to be put in a jar. The first harvest was a little early, but still does the trick. These got an extra couple weeks in flower. Gonna be some great smoke!I'll jump in on that one

Why thank you mrlovegrow. She looks mighty tasty doesn't she? I won't know what to do if the ones in flower don't change colors in some way. The fruit punch would be cool if it turned a little red or pink like Berry bomb or something.

I know lowering temperatures induces color change...I was gunna try it eventually when I won't care so much about quality/quantity, who knows when that will be LOL. You said it was purple kush but yeah in the picture I don't see any purple. That doesn't mean it doesn't look like an excellent stick by no means. I read that you can use ice to lower their temps, I would think you would make it proper ph adjusted, I've read about it being done near the end of the plants life. I'm sure you could find some detailed info somewhere around here

We did lower the night Temps to the lower 60s and it made it purple. We smoked one of the tiny ones last night and let me tell you. It brings back the days when I first smoked and it reminded me of that one hitter quitter stuff. We will definitely be making some fem seeds of this stuff.Yum yum !

Last weekend we placed a crop kings order so we could be in their competition. Pulled a stoner moment and forgot what we ordered. To our surprise we got some dark angel. Cheese and Jack herer are the genetics. Should be some good smoke.
Update coming later. Have to get my smoke on first.

Just my opinion but out doors up here ( North East U.S.) about three quarters thru flower they change natural with the seasons. In The extreme southeast I lived and grew with flowers and those subtle color changes weren't as distinct. I was going to lower temps on my first indoor to recognize what colors every strain in flower was capable of. I'm such a newb I thought I would just get on here with all these new ideas and theories and pow ! Be a sensation !!! Haha. I knew you guys already had this layman knowledge wrapped up. Seedling update
Just a couple quick pictures this afternoon. Later tonight we have more work to do down there and will update more then.
Our little seedling survivors are looking more green and standing a little taller today. Not an ideal situation, but its not the worst thing to happen in the garden. We searched for the other seeds and transplanted the seed and their 1/4" tap root and put them into a different cup with promix soil. Not promix HP, we have to work up to that.
So we will give those a couple days and see what happens. Had a few deaths so replacements will be dropped. The other THC bomb we were going to use for the side by side comparison didn't make it so we need another two new candidates for the tranquility water vs. tap water. Was thinking Berry Bomb....hmmm.
Then we have our 3 Chicks 2 Dudes project.
We were really surprised that a couple of them have popped and have a good sized tap root after 24 hours in the drink. The one with the good sized tap root went into the soil and we believe it to be female. We found the two seeds with oblong and deformed volcano marks and have put them together so we can know for sure and it isn't just luck later one when we find out. Previously I had dropped five Afghanis and not a single one popped open. So we were quite shocked. The other four went into a paper towel until tomorrow or so.
There shall be more later. We have some running around to do and will be back. Stay classy friends.

I have 1 Afghani bean which was free from a Herbie's order last year. Do you remember where you got your seeds from?
We have gotten a total of 15 freebies from herbies. This will leave us with 5 more. They are regular seeds and will be 12/12 from the moment they sprout. So if they are male. Meh. No big deal. Just glad we have a 4x4 tent that is empty and open for residents.

to our little grow. Lol. We are very fortunate to be able to have available space for our girls. They all love it in there. So do we. We have a little bench seat in flower we like.to sit on and smoke while we look at the beautiful flowering girls. It's so peaceful. Just a nice place to be, ya know?

damn gonna need to create a chart to keep track of everything. thought of growing some of the afghani males for pollen to mess around with but no clue when that will happen lol. I'll just watch yours grow, see if it's worth it. 
Small Update
This evening was a quick one in the garden.
Checked on the clones and gave them a bit more water in the tray. Two of them are looking amazing and the other two...well they have seen better days.
Here is Sparkle - cheese spreading her wings. Did some evening out of the SCROG after I took the picture. Let me tell you, it is difficult to hold a tape measure and hold the camera up high enough to take a picture.
Here is our FLUX adventure Elizabeth. She is starting to take shape quite well. She is getting over her heat stress looking illness but that wasn't it. I don't know, she is working it out though.
Just for comparison I grabbed a couple pictures off the time lapse. They are one week apart. I guess looking at her everyday makes it seem like she is growing slow. But in reality she is looking pretty good.

Since we had a little debacle with seeds, we sent a couple swimming tonight.
1 - Critical + Auto
1 - Durban Poison Auto
2 - Bubble Bomb Feminized from Bomb Seeds for the side by side comparison with the tranquility water and tap water.
Moods were a lot better this evening just short on time with the girls tonight. The purple kush is still hanging after 4 days. Humidity is 50% in the tent they are hanging in. So that's all for tonight, everyone have a fantastic evening and have a hit on us.
