Just catching up here. My COBs are 3500K I shoot the camera on tungsten light setting (3200k i think) it is pretty close to 3500k.
Just a quick way to because I am too lazy to use the man. WB feature right under the same menu on the camera, of course.

not sure this show it any good, medium linked to original......i think.

If your worried about space and males, it's kind of costly but you can get test kits to check male or female, test it at 7 to 10 days from germ, and have results with in a week. That was my reasoning for always growing fems, but gonna give it a try

I think I've seen those kits but didn't know if they were legit or not. I'll be interested to see how they work if someone is gonna give it a shot. That could change my perspective. I already have a couple Dynasty bean packs.

I just dropped 3 regs. I plan on using a test place to check DNA (farmerfreeman) 10 buckeroos a test i think.

Oh yeah If i get sprouts.....I am bound to screw the light in upside down and backwards.

Sorry nis had to jump in. I'm all the time auto and I top every plant between days 14-21. You wanna plant in final pot and 3 gallons are plenty big. I get between 2-3 ounces a plant every 65-110 days depending and that's from germination. I have the same exact flora micro bloom from gh and calimagic also liquid koolbloom and liquid karma. After they pop I wait one week 7 days then feed at half strength then next time they need water give em plain water then next time full strength. And with autos you don't have much time your lights are set at 20/4 and won't change so your gonna feed feed then water repeat and imho I used to like to let the plants tell me when they want liquids but that doesn't give you enough feedings because of time restraints. You'll start to see pistils around day 30 but keep giving them veg nutes until around day 45-50 then switch over to full strength flower nutes and don't forget the molasses they love that in flower hope this helps brother

For our autos we start them in the fun pot. Last time we didn't to see if starting in a 1 gallon and forming a good root ball first was a good plan and it turned out it wasn't. We currently have 3 autos going and they are in 7 gallon pots. They are 420 babies and one has started flowering. The other two are chugging right along growing quite well. I'll get some pictures tonight of them. As for topping, if you can get it done right around the 2 week mark from seed, then you should be in pretty good shape.

As for feeding, stay on the veg nutes until you have a good amount of pistils and that will keep them growing bigger into early flower. Then switch to bloom nutes. Also since these are going outside, the more soil the better. From what I've read and experienced, when the roots hit the bottom, they flower.

I used to run my autos in 5 gallons and they would flower way before they got to the bottom but then stinky snid a member here told me about the 3 gallons and that's what he uses and his plants are literally picture perfect also it's way easier to train in a 3 gallon vs a bigger pot

When I have to sex plants as soon as they germinate and pop I put them under 10 hrs of light by week 3 it'll be in flower and you'll know the sex then you pluck what you don't want and change the lighting schedule for the girls. It slows em up a couple weeks MAYBE but it's better than putting good effort and nutes into a male and the constant guessing

Thanks ohioboy, I am growing them outside so hopefully all goes well. Should I just follow the amounts on the bottle. I lost my schedule that I used for my photo's grow that i used last summer so struggling with the amounts and when to switch up.
 
I just plant seedlings and let them grow in a 1 gallon pot. I will take a clone above the third node. Then eventually they will indicate sex and I will flower the clone and take more clones off the mom. The seedlings get pushed off to the side so they never occupy prime real estate. They can get ugly it doesn't matter. I am always going to flower the clones anyway.

Hey guys, everything is just peachy. Just have been extremely busy and haven't had the time or ambition to to post an update. The co2 generator has been giving us some issues with heat. Well turns out one of our AC units wasn't running. So it is back online and I lowered the ppm to 1150 and moved the controller right next to the canopy and it runs for 2 minutes almost every 10 minutes. Holding in a very happy temp range and have some wiggle room for when they get blasted with more light. Turning up the drivers about 25 watts a week.

We also had a snafu with the cloner. It decided to stop pumping water and it killed all of the clones. So the hash plant is out of the mix and the hula haze is up with the birds of paradise. They will get cloned tomorrow in a different cloner and pump. Not happening again.

The other day I noticed something that resembled pistils on the Panama haze. Today is day 21 and the picture is from day 19.

We have some new babies as of last night that will be under the perfect Sun cob. Journal will be up for that during this long weekend.

Nis, Stage put me on to Dewey Misters. They are aeroponic misters that use air pumps to create water mist. I had a whole batch of clones go down because of a pump malfunction and am considering retrofitting these Dewey misters right in my ez-clone housing.

And the ladies look fantastic!
