Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

Just trying to remove all doubt in the grow. Grow the best and get some quantity along with it. More pictures when the screens get put on.
Wow, freakin' amazing, what an awesome grow Nis and Canna you should be proud.:high-five:
Blood, sweat, and tears have gone into this and it means a lot. Tons of hard work and time...thats for sure.

Just for growth speed comparison, here they are 4 weeks ago. I think this stuff works pretty good.

Hey there Nis and Canna! Been a while since I been around, just been slowly catching up on bits and pieces of your journal here. things have come quite a ways in the time I was gone. I see you're building cob setups now and got some raised beds to scrog with, certainly a big step up :) Happy for you 2, you both have been putting your heart and soul into this endeavor and it certainly shows, I love it! I now have a 2 room setup (bit smaller and much less advanced, but it works) and I had pondered the idea of making some sectioned raised beds. They wouldn't be quite as big since each room is about 6x10 but do you 2 find it a lot easier than moving plants around like before? Are your beds sectioned off so you could be planting different age groups if you wanted? Great idea though and things look great, keep up the good work :)

How have ya been dick? It's great to have ya back around these parts. The beds are not sectioned off so that the 4 of them get to share 80 gallons of soil. In each bed it's 4 clones from the same mother that are the same age. Just tried to give them the best chance possible at giving us an even canopy.
I don't think that it is too difficult to move them around normally bit when. We water them they get spread apart so there is a few feet in between them. Then we put in 10 or 11 gallons (80-88 lbs) in to each of them and they are sluggish to move. Mostly because the wheels have to do a 180 to roll the correct way. I would use bigger ones if we had to do it again.

Thanks for stopping in dick, it's been exciting over here.

Nice! We did a CBDutch Treat that was supposed to be a 2:1 strain. 8% CBD and 4% THC. Canna made it most of it into oil for capsules and a few ounces were vacuum sealed after curing for a bit. Come to think of it, I have not smoked a single gram of it! :laughtwo: One thing I've noticed about CBD is that it doesn't have an immediate effect as it is something that you have to take over time, just like vitamins, to have a real outcome. Now I may be wrong, but that is just how it is for me. So to keep a steady supply of CBD flowing, we have decided to always keep a plant going that has a moderate amount of CBD in it. After the hash plant t is done in the troughs and such, then we have a great white CBD that will go in. It's a 1:1 strain at around 10% and does 800g/m3 in a SCROG or SOG so it is right up our alley.

Made me really proud to hear this. At least a third of my grow is a CBD strain.

I had a nice 1:1 strain. Best test was 12.4 cbd with 10.6 thc. It was just too hard to work with trying to guess how much if a high thc strain to mix with it to get custom ratios. A pure plant is much easier to do that with. Also ive had a few requsets for pure cbd oil for kids with autism and seizures. Now I can help those people too. I can't believe how excited i am about this plant that doesn't get ya high.

The balanced ratios are great for the mellow high so many are seeking, and it appears to be the ratio that does a vast majority of the most effective healing for many concerns, outside things like seizure control and cancer-killing.

Those children with autism, suggest a magnesium supplement. This turns out to be an unexpected deficiency in many systems that express autism.

Today the 2nd light array was built and hung. Time to relax a bit then it's time to make the SCROG screen. Had to make a change to it since our canopy is going to be bigger than we initially thought. They were going to be 8' x 2' and be 8' x 4' total canopy. Well now we have added another 12" to it so we will have 8' x 5x total. An additional 8 ft² which could end up being up to another pound at harvest time. We now have sufficient light coverage. Finally.

You made me feel envious. :laughtwo:

Hey you two grows looking awesome!!! I'm so jealous but in a good way lol I just love the diy and thought that went into these projects. I was wondering if you raised the led panels for the pics of the new diy cob bars? Just seems like there so high up above the plants that they wouldn't be very effective? And do you keep the cobs lower or same level as the full spectrum lights? Now I've a question for me lol. I'm all set up if you haven't been over in the past few days and my filter and fan are 4" inline exhaust fan but all hooked up when I put my hand in front of the exhaust duct opening it's barely coming out and I mean barely y'all. Just wondering if you knew about filters if you look at my pics you'll see the filter has a cloth type covering it came shipped that way and I left it on should it be taken off here I pulled it back so you can see what I mean

see should it be metal exposed or that white cloth like wrap should keep the metal covered? Thanks for any help. #global420

It should be on there, like Dr hook said. It is a pre filter and we wash ours every 2 months at the most to keep it clean. We have not had an issue with ours not being able to exhaust enough. Granted we have an 8" fan and it moves a ton of air.

As for the cobs, they are able to be kept close to the canopy so we don't have to run them wide open. Recent PAR tests by other members say that 8"-12" with them about 30 watts each will give you 900 PAR. The closer you have them the softer you can run them and get great results. The two lights on movers are around 24" - 30" above the canopy.

It definitely has a positive effect on canna since she takes it on a regular basis so it is well worth it to keep around.

You should see it person Sue, it puts a smile on my face and I could easily sit there staring at them for hours. Gracefully blowing in the wind and reaching for the light. Majestic is how I would call it. In a few weeks it'll be a Sea of buds.

The screen goes on tonight!

Not so bad at all my friend, thanks for the welcome back :) Was a busy busy winter up here in Saskatchewan, but I had to get back here and start up a journal again. I missed everyone and the great atmosphere!

Dam.. that's a lot of soil lol I could only imagine if you didn't put the casters on the bottom! It will be interesting to watch them grow. I would also like to see how the roots did when they are all done, how intermingled they are with one another. You sure got that even canopy you were talking about as well, good job there. That's my troubles sometimes growing the different strains every time and then ya get 1 stretchy bugger. I have been trying the odd supercrop here and there to get used to it for when this happens, I always find myself supporting the branches with a bamboo stick lol

Makes me smile also. It's about to pay off. :thanks:

Marijuamonday...i'm going to start using that. That's just awesome.

Hey all :ciao:
I came to check out your progress with the lights, looking good, real good. fwiw, I run 4 crees all at 3500k spectrum without reflectors, they were 12-14 inches all through flower. A little higher during veg 16-18 maybe, for no reason other than I grow in a tiny tent and is what is. Oh and I have my dimmer down at maybe ~60% power, I dont really want full bright in my tent, they are so bright. Nice to know you got the bright intense light when you want it.
Cheers all.:cheertwo:
