Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

Re: Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

Let there be light!

Just doing some testing and some preliminary wiring. Had to see them turn on lol. Turned on 4 cobs in a dark room and it was a ton of light.

I had 2 5000k, 1 3500k, and 1 3000k hooked up and this is wide open one one driver. Have to tinker with it since we are about 70 watts short of what it should be. Max should be 1.75 amps and we fell a bit short. But this is 25% of what we will have in there. :woohoo:

Worked on the first frame as well this evening. 8 cobs on 13" centers. This is seriously going to be awesome. All 16 will be up this weekend at the latest.

Everyone have a good night. Time to relax. :passitleft:

what an incredible setup you have there Nis. looks beautiful :bravo:
will you be using the CoBs in addition to other lights or on their own? How many watts will the 16 CoBs drawing?

As of right now these cobs will be additional lighting for the troughs. The 2 lights on movers then 8 cobs on each side of them. Makes the light foot print even bigger. Eventually we would like to get 16 more and be able to cover 8x4 (or larger) with 32 cobs total.

Total watts with cobs is a little different to total watts with HPS or even other LEDs. The amount of PAR watts these things create is insane. I'll do a more in depth lesson on these cobs a little later. Tons of information to share. :thumb:

Look forward to hearing more info. BTW on friday I will be spraying one of the girls with the Silver thiosulphate solution you posted. Hope to report positively as SLH photo plants haven't responded to colloidal silver so far (the autos were more cooperative), so have many body parts crossed ;)

Thanks. Just stopped over there and had a peak. We will help you out keeping him company. :thanks:

:passitleft:

Thanks neiko. They look even better today! It almost looks like they grew a couple inches over night lol. Maybe you can come over and help us trim all of the bud in a couple months.

I wouldn't mind doing that.....but but someone else is doing the washing lol. I don't know why I despise washing so much but I do. I always wash mine but it's the reason I started letting things go longer....procrastinating the wash.
:lot-o-toke:

I have a question for the pros.....that would be yall.

I have an auto candy kush. It is supposed to be a 75-80 day seed. Anyway at day 96 she is almost 100% cloudy. How long should I let her go without loosing quality. I know the seed company estimate growing times but 14 days past.....is this normal.
I have noticed that autos are usually pretty close to the breeder times. Also the trichomes are just one way to tell if its done. Water intake slowing and pistils receeding is how we do it since we have noticed since switching to the kit the trichomes have a hard time going amber. Feel free to drop a couple pictures and we will help ya out.

Uh uh. That is one nice fixture. The passive heatsinks really shine with nice air circulation. Make sure you get some professional thermal paste if you are using holders. The less heat the longer this wonderful light bar of yours will last! Mamma mia I think I love it! Great job! :bravo:  :cheertwo:

Thanks! I got some arctic silver thermal paste. Got the white kind since the back of the Vero 29s Is aluminum. We are quite happy with how it is coming together.

It was stunted cuz I tried growing it inside.
Last time I grew this i pulled her at 74 days. That was way too early....no taste...no lasting high beyond 15 mins. It was like some dirt I got off the streets.
She definitely has a couple weeks left on her. I would wait until most of the pistils (75% or so) have turned amber and receeded. Your call though.

Wait I will. Thanks....its so little I don't want to mess it up. I Wont have anymore homegrown till October. ....unless I force one to flower but that means dragging it in and out of the sun.

Good morning everyone! Hope all is well with everyone and things are off to a good start for everyone. Last night I grabbed a few pictures of the 'hazes' we have going.

Panama haze day 26. New tops are coming out nicely and will have a few more weeks of veg. Considering a 15 gallon pot will be her next home shortly.

Last night on the light build we finished up with mounting the cobs on the heatsinks, finished the control panel and soldered the dimming wires onto the drivers. Tonight the frames should pretty close to being done. We have 64 holes to drill to mount the heatsinks so that will take a while. It'll be worth it though. I'll see about getting them hanging tomorrow...just wish we had more time to work on it a day as I'm getting excited lol.

Have a good day everyone.

Whaaat......light em up good then.... Great job..... I haven't had much Haze.. Never grown it n only smoked very little.
What gorgeous plants n badass light build..... Hope y'all are well...I know you are.. Just a formality..
Have a great Friday
