Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

So I was getting my head around the high brix way of living. I came around this interview on the matter:

ACRES U.S.A. We tend to think that minerals in the soil are scarce because most of them are not in a form available to plants.

JONES. A soil test will only tell you what is available to plants by passive uptake. The other 97 percent of minerals — made available by microbes — will not show up on a standard test. By looking after the microbes in the soil we can increase the availability of a huge variety of minerals and trace elements — most of which are not even in fertilizers.

ACRES U.S.A. We always hear the story about fields that were continuously cropped or hayed for 30 years where the soil is so exhausted that we have to add a lot of nutrients or we can’t grow a thing.

JONES. The problem is that we interrupt carbon flow with the way we farm. Cultivating the soil and using chemical fertilizer and pesticides break up the mycorrhizal networks. If plants can obtain nitrogen or phosphorus easily, they will stop pumping carbon into the soil to support their microbial partners.

It’s taken a while for people to realize that plant root exudates are not only important for nutrient exchange, but also essential for the maintenance of topsoil. If carbon is not flowing to soil via the liquid carbon pathway, soil deteriorates. Carbon is needed for soil structure and water holding capacity as well as for feeding the microbes involved in nutrient acquisition.

When soil loses carbon, it becomes hard and compacted. The differences in infiltration and moisture retention between high and low carbon soils are dramatic. Planetary stocks of fresh water are declining alarmingly. More efficient water use is going to be absolutely critical to the survival of our species.

Making better use of water requires improved soil structure — which in turn requires actively aggregating soils. If aggregates are breaking down faster than they’re forming, the water-holding capacity of soil can only deteriorate.

(TL:DR) High brix ass kicks! Now that I tasted my own higher brix crops I can testify it is

This had me thinking for a while. And it makes total sense to me and warms me greatly that people are thinking and living- the colorful, fruity, sweet, lovely way of making our own Paradise here. All the singing birds and buzzing bees around! That's the dream I want to dream. The Love and peace, can that be the way? Love for peace, and peace to make it stay. I want to work in fruit and veggies related business to get the feel for the quality and finding it. I love how the hemp industry is already doing so much for the humanity yet it has begun few years ago. Like for example I was looking for alternative ways to plastic vacuum storage for food. Bud vacuum storage is what I find first :D Glass container. Glass is meant to last. Like high brix garden. Wohoo! Happy new year!

P.S. This looks absolutely epic:

I can definitely store fresh everything with the help of my handy compressor unit :) Dreaming the dream. Thank you.

Re: Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

Good morning gang. :passitleft:

Today we are cloning our plants after we have sterilized our rooms for mites. Used Doktor doom foggers twice a week apart. Spotted one moving mite out on one of the 10 plants we have. So for the most part, they are gone. To make sure of it we will be tossing all of this soil and basically starting over. Now after we cut the clones, is there anything we can use to "wash" the clones with to be sure they are gone? Thanks.

Also I wanted to add that we have a commercial sized humidifier showing up Wednesday. It has been around 20%-30% lately with the humidifier we have currently. It uses 5 gallons of water in about 3 days. The new one uses .5 gallon an hour and we have to run a water line to it. It'll be able to get our humidity up to 60%+ easily. Long overdue addition.

really great to dial in and fine tune your environment :thumb:

Hey, happy new year. I just came to the conclusion yesterday that i want to try a scrog with doc buds kit and then stopped in here to see you already have it in motion. Cant wait to see how it works out for you. :cheer:

Good evening everyone, we had another productive 3 day weekend. The veg room was wrapped completely with panda film after we set off two more doctor doom foggers to kill those damn mites. Everything was cleaned again and we sprayed the plants with de-stress.

I got us a 55 gallon drum to act as a reservoir so that the water can get to about 70 before we give it to the plants. I hooked up a water supply to it for easy filling. Then a hose connection was put on a piece of pipe that runs to 2" above the bottom of the drum so we don't suck up the bottom. From here we plan to hook a pump up to the reservoir so we can get the water back out easily since we already had the pump. Then we can't have stagnant water just sitting in the room so we hooked an air pump up to 2 air stones to oxygenate the water and keep it moving.

Then for the cloning adventures that are coming up, I decided to make another cloner.

As for the girls, they are looking great. We put the bigger ones in the flower room so we wouldn't be crowded in the veg room. Nothing was flowering so I just changed the timer and that's where they will be until we get a plan together and clone them. I didn't take any pictures of them but I did record a video.

Then the ones that stayed in the veg room.

Then we have the Tutankhamon. I'm believing she would make an awesome scrog. HMMMM.....

I guess I didn't get a picture of the kosher kush. It is doing the best it ever has as I think it is because of it being under the MH instead of the T5. Let's see how they all explode when the humidity is the highest its ever been.

We purchased the materials to build the troughs so that will be happening within the coming weeks. I want to get the other light mover up and get the flower room ready to go. Oh and I almost forgot one of the best additions...we got a pair of mechanics chairs to roll around on while tending to the plants. Have to enjoy the little things. As for last weeks harvests we have everything in jars and we are letting them "rehydrate" after their dry was another quick one it seemed. We will get a final weight in a couple of days.

Busy, busy, busy. Time to pass some bubble bomb over to ya. Have a good night. :passitleft:

Looking more and more professional every time. Nice setup and plants. I love RO gotta get me some system too this year. I did finished my first olla and I will mount it this week into my Shark Shock pot. It holds around a liter (1/4 gal) and it should save up to 70% if used outside compared to top drip system. It captures water during rain and releases it later. The plant's roots will cover it completely and prune themselves. Dunno about inside use. It eliminates top soil evaporation and runoff. Makes it harder for bugs to live on dry surface. I will still feed my teas with can. If it works right I will make some gravity fed system with T joints and tubes.

You keep up the good work, always happy to see something new and green here! May this year bring you happiness! :Namaste:

You have a great year too Tomula! Thanks for all the helpful info! In a few mins I'll be dropping 6 seeds. Woo!
2 Early Miss Autos
2 Royal Creamatic Autos
1 Purple Kush Photo
1 Pineapple Express Auto

I had every intention of dropping get 2 Blue Treacle instead of the Creamatic, but that would have been the last 2 BT, and I would like Nis to make more seeds of that before we use it all up. Lol! He's such a genius!

The PK and PEA will be cross bred to make the Purple Pineapple Eater! We love smoking those two strains together in a joint. It's an amazing high! If it's that good separately, just imagine how good it'll be when we breed them together! This is gonna be fun! Woot!

Have a splendid day everyone! Please send me some Prayers, good vibes, good juju, whatever you believe in to be good. I've got a test to take later, and the more positive the vibes, the better I'll do!

:Namaste:

Prayers, good vibes, good juju, I'll sent it all Baby. :slide: Turn that brilliant mind loose and let the universe guide you to the correct answers.

I've done that my entire life. I keep a research assistant in my brain who dashes off to find the answers I can't remember. Then I wait, in as relaxed a pose as I can muster, for her to return with what I needed. It's worked all these years. Kay it work as well for you today Canna.

Sounds interesting, I'm too tired to send good vibes now but I will think about you tomorrow! I want to try some Blue Widow as it's said to be one of the best strain for pains. The Russian is great for pains so I guess the BW is gonna be as good as it or better. Good luck with those seeds! Peace! :Namaste:

We. Have. Seeds. It still has 2 - 3 weeks left on her as well. I'll gladly pick out the seeds to smoke this. The smells are amazing and the buds are beautiful.

Re: Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M &; Nismo12 Team Up!

this is in Docs Kit soil? :)

No it is not unfortunately. It's the last plant that we have that is not in kit soil. At the time I didn't know how many seeds would actually germinate. They were really green and only a few had tap roots. So I put them in some recycled soil at first. But now looking back on it I totally could have put it in kit soil. Now I can only imagine what it would have done in the kit...oh wait we have 2 clones from her in the kit. :thumb:

seeds grown in Kit soil are different. Healthier, etc...
