Yo Nis,
Awesome pics man.
That majestic flux beast looks carnivorous.
Well done!:bravo:
Update

The HB girls are looking much better today compared to what they have been. I'm going to say that they used all of the energy in their 1s and needed a day to recover from the transplant. I hope they get their color back and start to take off. I want to give them another few weeks to veg then flip them. The SSH might go in there this weekend since she flowers so damn long and it will give us a "test" run into flowering with the kit. Not saying it is a throwaway plant but it will be nice to know how everything works on one as opposed to 6. They will be in need of watering Thursday or Friday. Straight water then a GE Drench the next time. Sorry for the shotty pictures as the lights in flower were off and I like the white background. Plus they got some training. :high-five:

The Devil's Carnival clones have roots! That didn't take very long :slide:. So the mother will be going to the breeding tent this weekend and we will have viable seeds in about 9 weeks. :woohoo:

Flux day 35. Was able to get in there with a minute to spare with the lights on. I'm loving her more and more everyday.

I can attest to the less is more mantra. I sprayed too much brix on my Carnivals in veg and they did not like it. Learned lesson. I then backed off on the concentration a bit and they seemed to thrive after my mistake. I do have to say I have never seen a kit plant look like some of yours. My only thoughts are environment or overfeeding of some kind. But once you have it down, it becomes second nature. Good luck buddy
Cheers
:roorrip:

Yes Ween and Nis,....Brix and DeStress every 7 - 10 days only ! More is NOT better. Concentrations as per instructions too....NO stronger OK....it will burn the roots . Cheers guys!

Hi Duggan! When I say I over brixed, i'm not talking about concentration, i mean how much I spray on them. I was mixing up a 1/2 batch, meaning 16 oz of water with about 15ml of brix, then sprayed almost all of it on the 6 plants I had. Tard had noticed Nis plants looked soaked and suggested only a light spraying was needed, said 1 oz of mixture was enough for his 4 plants. Thinking I should mix up 2 oz of water with about a 2ml plop of brix for my 5 plants (2 being pretty small.) Sound about right?

Hi Canna, Nis and crew!

Hey Nis and Ween, morning buds....ya with the Brix....what I do is easy....fill up one of those spray bottles (mine hold about 10 Oz's , or so) and pour in just about one "cap full" of Brix. (cap from the larger bottle). This is all I have ever done ...it's such a small amount I found this way to be fast and fairly accurate. I always use the same amount...one cap full. When I add the Way ahead X10 to it later on at Bloom , I do the same but only add about 1/2 of a cap of it to the brix (smaller cap). Works great......we're not building a new space shuttle here so a few drops more or less will not hurt OK! When using the Way X10 remember to keep the ratio at 4/1 (Brix to WayX10). Cheers bud!

I'm going to do some research on wayahead. Have heard you guys talk about it but haven't really read up on it. If it makes a big difference then I want in. What I really want is some leaf wash. After transplanting they have some soil on them and have tried just dusting it off and I feel like I am beating the plants up since it is being stubborn. Oh well. More reading ahead! Thanks duggan!

Was a great morning before I got to work! Hahahahaha. Love it when new guys show up and mess with the work flow. Have a great day everyone.

Fu....n new guys eh Nis...HAHAHA! They're only new for a while! :) Ya with the Way x10. Some of us use it on those "Frankenstrains" that require an extra kick in bloom to avoid that "mid bloom stall" a lot of the OG's and Chemdawg lines have cuz of their love for salt based nutes bred into them over time growing by Nute based Hydro set ups. If your growing any of these strains that have a pedigree a mile long , then yes, you will benefit from it. All the older , more "landrace " strains that haven't been MESSED with too much grow the best in our soil....just do a lil research on some strains like Chocolate, raspberry, sweet sativa ( no such strain) that have been crossed with this and that and then that and this....got it! The more a strain has been crossed and back crossed , the less "landrace " it is! That's why Doc prefers the "landrace " strains the best. He has , however , dedicated a lot of time and research developing additives for our "kit" to help grow these "Frankenstrains " a little better in our soil , hence the WayAheadX10 and his OG Drench formulas. Hope this helps Nis,....have an awesome day my brotha!......... OH, BTW, how do they look today?

These gems of knowledge are the reason I cannot stay away for any period of time. Duggan. Thank you man. Seriously.

Thanks for the explanation. I knew the OG drench was for the OG/chemdawg strains. Not a big fan of the chemdawg unfortunately so we will cross that road when it comes. Just looked at the lineage of our strains and they appear to not have been messed with much...other than the blue dream. I'll do some reading on other DBHBB grows of that to see how it ended up and if we will need it.

Haven't looked at them yet today but will later. I'm thinking they might need a drink tonight or maybe tomorrow. But last night they were reaching for the lights and looked decent. Just want a darker green color on them is all at this point. In a couple weeks they will be big enough to flip. The Devils carnival clones will be put into some kit soil tonight so we can grow them out and be able to try the strain we are creating lol. :thumb:

Good stuff Nis,...just remember OK, tonight when you transplant your lil clones into DBHBB soil , just give plain water OK! No "kit" stuff is needed. There is loads of goodies in the soil already for new clones. Wait until they start to grow nice on there own and get some new foliage before you start in with the "kit' stuff. If you wish and you think they need it , you can spray with 1/2 strength DeStress....but only if you think they are suffering at all OK, otherwise let them be! You say you would like to see a darker green on some of them....GE will make that happen for you , but you have to follow those directions Doc laid out or my short version of them OK! Cheers bud! Once you and Canna get rolling with the "kit" you will figure it all out and won't believe just how easy it really is...TRUST ME! :):high-five::Namaste:

Thank you for the advice Duggan. I'm sure you feel like you're repeating yourself on this topic over and over, but I'm grateful as it's made me reassess how I was using the kit. I've never grown using nutes but I still found myself thinking in regards to feeding the plants and not the soil. I'm on my third kit grow and am now just starting to feel like I'm steering instead of driving the grow. Less really can be more with this system.

Just something quick tonight for everyone tonight. Need to relax from the lack of common sense at work. But anyways the Devils carnival clones got put into 1s tonight. Really impressed with the roots and how fast they have grown in the last 2 days. A little bit of roots was added since I saw that in the instructions previously and hadn't read what duggan had said here lol. Don't think a light dusting will hurt. They did not get any destress since they were sprayed on Tuesday.

Then while we were down there I compared the leaf colors of the DC (Right)and the blue dream(Left). Well, they are pretty damn close. I don't know if it was the HPS that is the next light over that gave a bit of yellow but when the BD was under the T5 she looked pale. Oh well, I think they have moved into their new homes quite nicely. No water for them today as they are looking mighty fine.

We just smoked 2 joints with a double barrel joint smoker thing of the Purple kush reveg and holy shit. :thumb:

I wish I would have known about the wayahead and og drench when I was growing my OG Kush. I guess I should have done more research. Next time I'll be ready.

Awesome roots going there. It looks like you've got a vigorous strain started.
