Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

My personality wouldn't let them stay as they are. I would look at it like "I'm sure it's great for some obviously because I see there success but it's just not for me" and I would go buy some FF soil and transplant my girls into what I know and start them on nutes that work well for ME and have always in the past. Seriously canna and nis you two have IT down why work on something that's not broken? To possibly make it better right? Well you tried and it's not better FOR YOU so move on to what you know works for you. Get all the stress outta your energies I know it's consuming for me when I see a discolored leaf let alone a sick girl I wouldn't be able to keep doing what's not working I just couldn't. Just mho be well and best of luck to you I'll be here for what's next no worries lol#global420

Ohioboy can't stop!! Ohioboy With Fast Buds - Let's See How Fast Exactly
It's not the soil. I know that. We do the exact same with the other plants. Promix and EWC just no ammendment from the kit. We use fox farm nutes but wanted to go for the organics so went with the kit. Not going to write it off as of yet since there is still time and don't want to start any new ones until after february. So might as well make these work. $200 into the kit and going to make it work. One thing is for sure though, solo cups are out of the equation. Never again. I believe that was the root of the problem.

The incredible bulk was started in a 1 and looks the best. For the ones that don't follow that journal she was transplanted at the same time but in a 5. Same age as the others of roughly 60 days.

I'm sorry Ohioboy, I disagree ! My motto is "never quit...never out of the fight!" You are saying Nis and Canna should stop using the Kit and transplant into FF soil!!!!! NOT GOOD bud! This system works....take a long hard look around you ....do you think all our successful grows are nothing but "flukes"...not so! Nis has just transplanted 48 hrs. ago ...for pete's sake man , have some patience ...holy F...k man! They will thrive , just like all of our grows...give them time ...be patient Nis....once you see how they respond I bet you get off the FF stuff and stick to a very , very , tried and true system.....look at our grows man....LOOK AT THEM! Remember Nis....unlike your Nutes first approach this system doesn't always need something OK,...sometimes straight water with NOTHING else is best. For example when you transplanted into the 7's. you did everything right...next drink give them water , that's it....remember they have a lot of new DBHBB soil to draw from and DON'T need anything OK! Give them a week and see how they look OK... Cheers....really Ohioboy...come on bud !

Soil type was just an example and as I said for some it works great but you cannot expect the same thing to work the same way for every person it's impossible that would be perfection and as a human being that's impossible. It's like nutes we could argue what's best for weeks I bet everyone has a "better" way. Please believe me I'm not knocking the system yes like I said and everyone else it works and works good......for some people. Ya know this is the first run EVER in my grow life that I'm not all organic and heirloom. I know what it means trust me brother I qualify as do you and nis and canna but at what point do you stop throwing good resources at a bad result. I mean let's be honest here seems to me every other week there's a problem with this grow look back through the journal it's not me I'm just giving an opinion a lnother way to look at it. A different way that's what hb is all about right trying it a different better way well if it don't work for a person then it don't work he'll they could've gotten a bad batch of micros or who knows what. I just know what I see and read. I see awesome huge beautiful plants in docs "kit" but I've also seen it not work out for the best e.g. Canna and nis. I love the work and hard work the talent skill patience determination etc. involved in the "kit" but again no one can expect it to be the same for everyone who uses it

I also started in solos this round. Last round was seed right in 1 gal and everything was fine. This round 1 plant gave me root issues. I decided that I won't use solos next round. I plan to gun for good roots in 2017.

For any grow you gotta have good roots, but for Docs kit it seems like a very important piece to this puzzle. Doc says environment is the most important part to the system, which I'm sure is true, but having a excellent root system would be a close #2. We all use the same stuff in the kit, all of our environments are close (couldn't grow good cannabis in shitty environ regardless what you use), and we all use a light source. How much can you F-Up with the kit products? Not a lot I would say. You never see anyone with a nute burn while using Docs kit, there has been some journals where people were heavy handed with brix and large water drops left on leaves caused burns, and that set some of the rules for a milder brix formulation, but that is far and few between. I have had no burn and I'm only on my 2nd grow, as in I didn't start with nutes or anything, this is my 2nd grow with a kit that has done me just fine. I feel like I am still on the ladder slowly creeping up go a "great" status. Just fill in the notes with the stupid mistakes made so #3 is even better.

Agreed Ohioboy but again , I must disagree with you on the kit. We ALL can expect the same results from the kit...it's the same for everyone. There are NO exceptions ...it doesn't know who is using it. If 99 people out of 100 hundred get results , you can't say it's the Kit can you? I still think Canna and Nis will be just fine in a few days to a week....watch it!

Hey Nis FYI ...I NEVER use those lil solo cups....I start in one gal. then go right to the 26ers .....works awesome!

Guess maybe then nis and canna are your 1 out of 100 then bub that's all no ill intent I assure you brother agreeing to disagree is an honorable and civil way to end a conversation. Keep em green

Now now boys, put the measuring tapes away. We are all friends and family. I dislike the vibe going on in here. Everyone has a right to an opinion. We don't need to make anyone feel singled out. We just hit a bump in the road with the brix and need to get it sorted out.

I thank all of you for your kindness and helpful attitudes. No more turf wars. We can all chose what growing medium we like best. Ok?

Here. This'll help.

Hello C and N , i'm sorry if i'm causing a bit of a ruckas around here. I really want you two to succeed! OK , got home and checked my four GC's, after they had a big drink of PLAIN WATER last night. These pics are 24 hrs. after the drink and 11 days since transplanting into the 26ers. What do ya think? I want everyone to compare last nights pics with tonight's. See the major , huge difference in attitude and posture with them....they just loved their drink of PLAIN WATER in all that new "KIT" soil! They received NOTHING from the "KIT" with that drink. Cheers guys!

They look great bud! Now I'm about to head down to the GR and see how they are doing.

But first... RoorRip

Nis, they are looking better today....right? I'm looking at leaf posture and general attitude. New growth looks good . What is their "drink" status?
They look loads better today. Now if it keeps being like it has been then tomorrow they will be sad looking and need watering on Thursday. I hope they keep this up though. They have been "wilty" for far too long. Gave them all a quick destress spray...one pull of the trigger per plant. Nothing special. Just wanted to use it up since it had been a week and they got some training.

Pictures uploading now. :woohoo:

When I transplanted into coco from soil this time around my plants looked like crap for almost a week. They used up all the bottom leaves energy while the roots were adjusting and everything turned yellow. I ended up trimming that stuff off because the new growth came through healthy. At one point I thought it was going to envelop the entire plant though and I was kinda freaking out a bit. Your new growth looks pretty healthy in that recent picture. Funny how fast these girls can change how they look from one day to the next.

Update

The HB girls are looking much better today compared to what they have been. I'm going to say that they used all of the energy in their 1s and needed a day to recover from the transplant. I hope they get their color back and start to take off. I want to give them another few weeks to veg then flip them. The SSH might go in there this weekend since she flowers so damn long and it will give us a "test" run into flowering with the kit. Not saying it is a throwaway plant but it will be nice to know how everything works on one as opposed to 6. They will be in need of watering Thursday or Friday. Straight water then a GE Drench the next time. Sorry for the shotty pictures as the lights in flower were off and I like the white background. Plus they got some training. :high-five:
