Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

Re: Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

I would ask Doc if I were you. I was lucky to not have any problems with my grow. You're using RO water right? That's the only thing I could think of since you seem to be feeding right. I hope you guys get it squared away. Wish I could be more help.

Cheers

RO water...check.

I want this to work. Bad. So just need to figure it out.

Is it just the picture or are they soaking wet? And if they are, what are they soaked with?

Are you using brix with way ahead already?

It looks like a nitrogen problem to me but I cant say for certain because of the picture quality.

Have you tried a heavy trans drink?

What temp is the floor they're sitting on?

Do you have mites or any other bugs to speak of? If not then id try 2 tablespoons of bloodmeal with a good transplant drink. By that I mean 1 ounce of transplant and 2 mils of tea. 2 of my amherst sour diesels were starting to yellow and the bloodmeal brought them right back. It looks like youre in 7 gal smarties right?

When you first started your soil how much ewc did you add?

Re: Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

How much are you spraying?!?! At what concentrations?
7 ml per 8 oz. Just scaled down what it says on the bottle of 1 oz. Per quart. We have extra after spraying 6 plants. Tops and bottoms of leaves.

I'm sure all will work out but I can imagine the frustration. I'd be going crazy right now. It's part of the reason I'm nervous to switch what I am doing and using. I switched to coco this grow and the plants looked like crap for the first week or so and then magically they took off. Positive vibes! :rasta:

Put it this way...ive never sprayed my leaves so much that they look wet like that bro. After I'm done spraying 4 plants with 2 ounces of mixture, theres still an ounce of the mixture left, and my plants look to be larger than yours are now. Brix is really strong. For 6 plants there's no way id use more than an ounce and a half...maybe 2 ounces tops

I use just over 1 ounce of brix mixture to spray all that. Its not the best pics but you get the idea bro. Just tryin to help :)

These HB plants better wake the F@&*k up. Following directions is not enough for these I guess. Do one thing and they look fine for a day. Then they turn to shit. But we have the Devils carnival enjoying the same conditions and nutes.

I'm not saying the kit doesn't work since it obviously does for others. I love the idea of all organic and blah blah blah but if I can't get them to preform then what's the point? I'm not saying we are the best since we are far from it. But I am sick and tired of looking at sickly plants. We have one out of 6 that look....decent. if it was up to me they would get destress everyday since they always look stressed. Tried water, water, GE, repeat. Tried water, water w/ 1/4 trans, GE. Brix every 7 days. Destress once maybe twice a week. Let the dry out to first sign of wilting. Bottom feeding. So wtf are we missing? Plants look like shit and have no idea what to do with them.

Dunno Nis, the kit is a fluid thing. There are changes that kind of become universal without being written down. For example, when you read other journals it seems like using a weaker solution of brix is now status quo.

Out of curiosity, where is your cooked soil, like is it in a warm spot? I have my soil in my basement and I feel that initially my soil was too cold for proper micro life. I now have my bins on a pallet for airflow/heat to keep the little ones real happy. Masonman went through a tough spot with a kit grow. If you haven't heard from Doc yet, go read through some of Masons grow (on a side note Mason is gone yet his journal lives on). His had strong yellowing occur and I believe a rescue drench was on order.

Whether kit or reg nutes our plants should show similar traits when problems arise. Trying to know the ins and outs is our mission I suppose.

That yellowing was happening before the transplant? Every plant I have transplanted had trans water as well as a root dusting. Not a Trans drench, I did 1/4 trans and no tea, and I haven't had an issue yet. I did have a plant get stupid because of my heavy handed scoring, but it never yellowed, it just was stunted. Post this in Docs thread. I suspect a rescue drench is in order but I'd get that info from him. Would all that yellowing be from brix alone?

On a side note, like Tard, I also don't super soak my plants with brix. I try to just spray the bottom of the leaves, and I keep the leaf top on the dryer side. I mean the top gets wet, but I don't deliberately spray leaf tops.

We do not have way ahead. Wanted to get a solid run or two in before trying all of the extras.

I would have to agree that they appear to be low on nitrogen. I'll get some better pictures tonight. Last night I was frustrated and didn't want to look at them.

Have you tried a heavy trans drink?

Doc suggested to do a rescue drench last week. Well right after that they perked up a bit so we did 1/4 rescue drench because I didn't think they needed a full one at that point. Maybe I was wrong.

What temp is the floor they're sitting on?
It is right around 70 degrees. We have not had a problem in the last 6 months so I didn't think it would be an issue.

Do you have mites or any other bugs to speak of? If not then id try 2 tablespoons of bloodmeal with a good transplant drink. We have had an issue with mites as of late. They come and they go. Very little action on the HB plants though so that's a plus. And yes they just got transplanted on Sunday in 7 gallon smart pots.

When you first started your soil how much ewc did you add?

We added 30 lbs of EWC. Let it cook 5 weeks before starting. 70-75 degrees sitting on 8" of insulation to not have an issue with the concrete floor. When we opened up the bin there was condensation on the lid and sides.

Thanks again for the help. :thumb:

Mornin Nis....you say they got transplanted on this past Sunday?......... Give them a few days to grab the soil....they will be fine ....don't panic and don;'t get upset ....they will be great in a few days to a week OK! If you have followed directions ....which I believe you have , just wait , they will respond! Cheers bud!
Thanks for the reassurance and yes they were transplanted exactly 48 hours ago. I know this system works and I believe in it. But when they are sick looking I have no idea what to do since this system is new to me.

Just got some wax from a coworker so I'll do some calming down later lol. Have a good day bud.

Good Morning ya'll! I've got no doubt you'll be able to get the kinks out of this one Nis. You've got this one bro. 1 plant is already growing great. I see you've deducted the commonalities the healthy plant shares with the weaker ones. Environment. Water, nutes, Pest, Hmmm. Soil was mixed properly with proper maturation in proper environment. Animals(cats/dogs) are kept out of grow room , no urine contamination. It happens. No insecticides.
Just keep at it, you'll get it right. Only thing that possibly could make sense would be spots of immature soil? If even that could cause an issue... Good luck ya'll, I'm pulling for ya.

Peaceful blazing

My personality wouldn't let them stay as they are. I would look at it like "I'm sure it's great for some obviously because I see there success but it's just not for me" and I would go buy some FF soil and transplant my girls into what I know and start them on nutes that work well for ME and have always in the past. Seriously canna and nis you two have IT down why work on something that's not broken? To possibly make it better right? Well you tried and it's not better FOR YOU so move on to what you know works for you. Get all the stress outta your energies I know it's consuming for me when I see a discolored leaf let alone a sick girl I wouldn't be able to keep doing what's not working I just couldn't. Just mho be well and best of luck to you I'll be here for what's next no worries lol#global420

I'm sorry Ohioboy, I disagree ! My motto is "never quit...never out of the fight!" You are saying Nis and Canna should stop using the Kit and transplant into FF soil!!!!! NOT GOOD bud! This system works....take a long hard look around you ....do you think all our successful grows are nothing but "flukes"...not so! Nis has just transplanted 48 hrs. ago ...for pete's sake man , have some patience ...holy F...k man! They will thrive , just like all of our grows...give them time ...be patient Nis....once you see how they respond I bet you get off the FF stuff and stick to a very , very , tried and true system.....look at our grows man....LOOK AT THEM! Remember Nis....unlike your Nutes first approach this system doesn't always need something OK,...sometimes straight water with NOTHING else is best. For example when you transplanted into the 7's. you did everything right...next drink give them water , that's it....remember they have a lot of new DBHBB soil to draw from and DON'T need anything OK! Give them a week and see how they look OK... Cheers....really Ohioboy...come on bud !

I'm just hoping they had used up all of the energy in their 1s and now they have some room to stretch their legs. I'm not going to give up as I'm just like you, I'm not going to let it beat me. I know it works. When I see you pull a pound and a half out of a small space I know it works. Everyone else rocks it also. So with a deep breath we shall see what happens.

I will say though the SSH actually looks the best she has in a while. Slow growth just like the last one we grew but hoping it has a faster finish.
