Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

Right you are Nismo, love a good tasting and smelling smoke, and as I am limited for space I lean towards Indicas with a good yield. Chocoloco is on my radar for the next grow as well. I figure you cant go wrong with a chocolate caramel taste combo. Thanks for your input Nismo. By the way, what is back building?

Back building is a technique that simulates the bud hitting something above it and can't grow any taller. So this tells the plant to back building the Colas. The result is big fat dense buds. Light Addict has a great tutorial on it, but basically all it is is midway through flower you cut the smallest little bit off the top of the bud. Like 2 or 3 pistils and a tiny bit of bud. When I do one of our bigger plants we end up with just a tiny bit to throw in a one hitter. I prefer it opposed to not doing it. The appearance and bud structure is more appealing to the eye.

Canna and Nismo have you guys tried any of the following strains.
Vision Seeds Chocoloco Feminized, Pineapple Royal Queen Seeds Kush Feminized, Reserva Privada Strawberry Banana Feminised, G13 Labs Pineapple Express Feminized, Dutch Passion Seeds Blueberry Feminized, or Sagarmatha Seeds Smurfberry Auto Feminized?

I've grown G13 Labs' Pineapple Express. I had two expressions but the potency of either is excellent. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a fairly easy auto.

We grew a Barneys Pineapple Chunk. It's flavor is wonderful, sweet and aromatic. The high is one of the best we've grown. We currently have a Fast Buds Pineapple Express Auto growing. We can't wait to smoke her. She's a big girl for an auto.

Thanks Green! We happen to love it here also. Thanks for stopping by guys!

Since we are talking about it. Pineapple Chunk.

Good morning Nismo and all present on this fine journal today.
Here's the last of the half zip o GTH from yesterday. :passitleft:

I have a question or two. I have read LA's tutorial on back building as well. I am wondering if you use this on all or just certain plant in the past ?
If this in the case, could you be so kind as to point out the ones that were done ?
I am going to back the NL#5 I just posted picks of this morning in my journal. Can I do it twice > once early and one at halfway or two thirds and let it go a little longer I think ?

I need the sedative effects of this, the purpose of letting it go a little over. I do realize that I am experimenting here so......

Thank you man. Have a great day ya'll:yahoo:

We do it on most of them. The ones we don't do it on seem to be autos that just fly past the window of opportunity. On an 8-9 week strain we do a major pruning on day 21-25. Then in between week 4 and 5 is when we back build. I'll go through some pictures and show the difference. Also, I do not see any added benefits from doing it multiple times as once it "hits the ceiling" it can only have the desired effects once.

Hey Nismo, I see what you were talking about with the Crown Royal. Very cool waffle weave base. Hope you caught up on some sleep on your day off. Sounds like you've been working hella. Sending you relaxing vibes. I saw your post describing how you flower with backbuilding. I wasn't really sure what to expect for my first flower cycle but you've given me something to work with. Thank you greatly.

Hey CannaM, that's a super cute bong! The old school style reminds me of my very first bong. Good find. Sorry to hear about the lay off, enjoy the down time while you can haha. I really enjoyed your summary of the Pineapple Chunk from BF. "It's flavor is wonderful, sweet and aromatic. The high is one of the best we've grown." It sounds incredible! Definitely adding this strain in a future grow. All about those fruity flavors yo. Thank you for the heads up!

Damn guys. Always impressed by your garden size and variety. So much selection! That Pineapple Express auto looks dank af. I have a question about your Brix girls tho. Why the name Brix? Your garden straight up knocks my socks off. Cheers.

If flavor is what you are after, then CKS Early Miss is where it's at! It's got a pine, minty bubblegum flavor. It's sooo good! My favorite flavor by far. All we have is 1 little nug we are curing, saving it for a special occasion.

Brix is a living soil. It's different than the soil we use on the autos. I'm no expert on brix, but the veterans who grow with it say it surpasses regular soil in every aspect. This is our first run with "The Kit". Doc Bud is the man we get the kit from. We buy the soil online. Then follow a few easy steps, and a month or so later the soil is alive and ready to keep the plant living. It's very cool to think of it. We feed the spil, the soil keeps the plant alive. No more nutes to feed the plant.

I definitely like variety, but if given the option I usually lean towards the sweet/fruity strains haha. What are your smoking preferences? That CKS Early Miss sounds heavenly! Appreciate the suggestion. That small nug sure will make a nice treat on a rainy day. Good idea!

Woah. That Brix soil sounds pretty futuristic. I'll have to do some research after work! Getting me stoked haha. I very much so like the idea of veering away from nutrients if possible. Just seems more natural imo. I have to head out pretty soon here but I wish you a very successful Wednesday. Stay frosty c:

Search Doc Bud. He's the brix guru, and I believe he's also the creator. He's a good dude too!

Well, you made me feel really good about this little darling filling up her pot in record time. I've never grown a more vigorious plant.

Earlier today

After I got more stakes to spread her out a little more.

The friend who gifted me the seeds says it's his favorite strain too. I can't wait to give it a try.

The one thing we learned with our Early Miss was she needs some form of training. Ours grew 4 Colas and some smaller lower buds. She looked long and skinny. She was one of the first autos we did so we chose to tread lightly. Now we find a simple version of the flux, like what you did, works well. Yours is already off to a better start than ours.

Good to see you over here Sue! You are a busy woman! Thanks for taking the time to grace us with your presence.
