I wasn't questioning your methods. I was trying to understand your method. I have no idea what you guys are doing although I do have some genetics background. Thus is all new to me. Sounds like a pain in the ass to me.

I love the variety and all the projects you guys are taking on. I do kind of miss the grow journals you used to have though. Thus thread is becoming SweetSue size which makes it hard to keep up with you guys unless I stay on your journal all the time.

Hey man. I've started a cooking with mj thread. That's where I'll post about oils, lotions, butter, pretty much anyway we can extract the mj to our liking will be done there. That'll free up some space here and get it more like a grow journal. Lol

Harvest Update


Last night we started to harvest our Dinafem cheese. We spent a little over 2 hours on her last night and it was starting to get late so we postponed it until today. Canna spent another 2 hours on it today and I had 2 hours on her after I got home. She fed everyone while I did some trimming. So if you were by yourself it is 8 hours of trimming were done.

I will say this girl was quite the fast grower and took a ton of abuse. She was pulled around everywhere, super cropped numerous times, cloned, and even picked up a slight deficiency towards the end. While in veg we were hoping to fetch a full pound from her. While she was flowering I changed my guess to 12 oz. Right now I don't know what to think. We have a 4' x 2' tent full of hanging buds. The smaller popcorn buds are going to be used for oil so they were also washed but they are not hanging up, they are laying down to dry. She spent 3 months in veg and 60 days in flower. 5 months 1 week and 3 days was her life and she will give us happiness for much longer than that. So here she is in her final showing...enjoy.

This is where we stopped last night. Note to self: Don't try to harvest a big plant during the week at night.

After all of that was done and washed. They get to hang out here for a week. We are worried about humidity in the tent while they dry so a bigger fan will be put in there to move more air. Mold is not welcome here.

That's all we have for tonight. We plan on kicking back and relaxing...and a few joints of course. Have to try out the now dry Fast and Vast. I'm sure Canna will have up some pictures tomorrow.

I just wish she was prettier. Sigh. She was falling all over herself. Just wish she would have stayed reaching for the sky like she was 2 months ago.

Hey guys of course Canna for the kind welcome. My mother died last night and I don't know what to do with myself. The hospital decided to call us at 1000am after she stopped breathing multiple times at 330am. So she sat on life support for 6.5hrs alone. We live 6hrs apart. She passed away at noon. I had enough time to see her alive. It's all I wanted! Doesn't the hospital have an obligation to notify the family of huge changes? She died of lung cancer. Smoked for 20yrs and quit for 40yrs. It didn't matter. She did irreparable damage. So my message to cigg smokers is to say it's your choice. Just remember it hurts more people than you. I smoked 25yrs and switched to e-cigarettes and weened. off nicotine in 2 weeks. Just be careful with what you do. Only because others.

I am speaking to cigg smokers a pack a day or more which is a typical number. I know e-cigarettes have not been over tested like cigarettes, but they are definitely safer. I can run now about a mile and keep up with my kid. E-cigarettes area great tool. You get nicotine, and you get a machine that gives you your hand to mouth addiction covered. I can't begin to describe all the flavors.

Pocadon..i am so very sorry to hear about your mom. I feel your pain, as my mother died of lung cancer from smoking cigs too. About 14 yrs ago now. My father lost his battle to them too...he died at 50 yrs. old,...i was 23 at the time. A week after my mother died of lung cancer, my then wife started smoking again (she had quit). We figured out that my mom smoked for 53 years before it killed her. try and stay strong for all who loved your mom! Once again, my thoughts are with you and yours this morning....

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Especially your mother. It is truly a difficult loss to get over, but you should know we are here for you. If you are having a hard time with this please message me so we can chat. Ok?

I have no idea why the hospital didn't call.you guys sooner. Maybe they were busy keeping her stable so you could see her one more time. I'm just glad they did call with enough time to see her.

I've dealt with quitting smoking so many times in my life. It's so difficult. I've made it 6-8 month in the past, but then someth in no happens and I smoke again. My dad got cancer. StartEd smoking again. Quit after that. Have issues with my family now, so here I am smoking again.

Try to find something to smile about every day these next few days/weeks. Even if it's something silly. Just let yourself feel some happiness. It'll help you and all the others around you. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Try to have a good day please, and try not to hold on to that anger towards the dr. It's not going to help anything.

I remember visiting her the last couple days of her life and while i was with her , in her room, a worker came in with this tube thing with a lil ball in it ...she told my mom to blow into the tube ..it will exercise her lungs...i told her to please leave , my mom's lungs don't need to be exercised.....she died two days later. I still hurt today cuz she and my father should still be here, but they chose to smoke...and it killed them both. i have no use for cigarettes as they will kill anybody who uses them!!!!!just my thoughts today Canna....please stop smoking ....for your kids ...what are you waiting for.....just STOP!

I use tobacco (snuf), used to smoke (Army), I've noticed that there are times you can break the habit and there are triggers to get you back. Once you and tobacco become friends it's a life long friendship. What is needed is to understand why you use tobacco and address those issues like stress, hunger, ect. But everyone has their path and understanding it is are jobs as friends.
