Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

I have to decarb the leaves too?

I am new to all this...remember that when I give my limited advice
I do. Decarbing releases the oils so they can be extracted more easily by the solvent.

I remember (not all that long ago) that I was new to this too. I was welcomed with open arms and nobody judged me for asking questions. I hope everyone feels the same when they come to our journal. Have a great day Red, and please ask more questions any time! :namaste:

Here is a great link that explains a lot about decarboxylation. I use a lower temps though. 225° for 1 hr breaking it up every 15 min.

Decarboxylation: What It Is, & Why You Should Decarb Your Weed

You can let the leaves dry as long as you want, but once they are dry, they are dry. Lol. I keep ours on a tray to dry after harvest. Then eventually it goes in a bag till we use it. You will decarb it the same way as buds.

Glad u said that cuz I have more questions?

How long to put the leaves in the oven to decarb or do u use another process?

Also if I leave the trim out to dry do I decarb in a different way? And how long is too long to let the trim dry?

Cannabis has THC-A which is NON-psychoactive (it doesn't get you high!) until it's converted to THC Delta 9 (THC) which takes heat to accomplish.

When we smoke the bud, the burning decarbs along the way. While, over time, the THC-A will breakdown to THC, it would take a long time to achieve a good level of decarboxylation. This is why I would recommend decarbing the trim, also.

With decarbing, you want more than 95% of the THC-A to be converted to THC.

I personally do 240* for 60 minutes, but there's nothing wrong with Canna's temp/times and you'll hear many others that will also work.

Good evening everyone!

Tonight we went through and fed everyone that needed it and the ones in flower we are making sure the pots stay wet. I will say that I have noticed our buds are hanging over because of the weight. I am thinking this is happening because we are letting them get too dry. It's difficult to go from the mentality of letting them get completely dry and showing signs of under watering to the second half of flowering and you don't want the pots to go dry. So a better attempt at keeping them wet. We are having to water/feed every 3 days or so. We did a couple transplants today as well into some 3s so they could begin to stretch their legs. Just for the hell of it I scored the roots and put a sprinkle of Roots! down from the kit. Why not right?

We are also jarred up Pineapple Chunk and Fruit Punch. The OG Kush was close but will be jarred up tomorrow or Tuesday. We are happy with the final weights for these two. I was thinking right around 9 for the three plants but we will be around 12 ounces.

Barney's Pineapple Chunk - 120 grams or 4.23 OZ

These jars smell amazing. A nice long cure on these girls will do them quite well. Now that we have a decent supply we can let them cure properly and be able to enjoy them the way they are meant to. That's all I have for this evening and ill make sure we get some good pictures of our ladies tomorrow after they had dinner and a good nights rest tonight. Time to roll up another fruit punch...have to do some quality control. Stay classy friends. :passitleft:

I love when a harvest comes in. I timed this drive by at the right time I see. I never seem to have the weed that gets to do a full cure. Least from the indoor grows. Congrad's and Keepem Green
