WeedSeedsExpress Godfather OG In LOS Scrogged & Cored

Hey there!
What a score i made locally. I've read llama poo is some fine addition to my soil mix. Luck had it that an alpaca farm is just up the street so I researched who the family is and texted a few times to find a good soul who also grows cannabis for his family. We still haven't met face to face and that was fine to both of us. What a small world. So...these buckets have llama poo that's been composted for 2 to 3 years and I'm told are full of our own (my town)red wiggler worms.
I dropped off a little of what flower I have in the house for them to try as I picked the poo up. I hope they like it and have a bucket or two for us next year! WOOHOO!

Not forgetting our Godfathers purring along. They need water every other day now so in a few days it's their turn for a pot to grow up into.

Highya SO,

What a score!! That will be a great addition to your grow! I just thought of something. I just started a 36 hr actively aerated compost tea. What if you used that with other compost you have, and give it to them in liquid form in 36 hrs? Just a thought. All my plants (cannabis included) love the tea. Happy Smokin'

I'm going to have to try it. I've been lazy using Recharge in stead of bubbling my own lately. Great idea Bode! My tomatoes will love too!

Here's an UPPOT UPDATE. I'm thinking it's Sunday and hoping you all are enjoying something good in your life. I am. It's a sunny day on the farm and I woke full of piss and vinegar. Soooo

I noticed the Godfathers have been going light in color and cotyledons getting used. They grew out of the light seedling soil mix I made up so in a 1 gal pot they went.

First I mixed about a cup of llama poo compost into the 2 gallons of first run soil, then some epsom salts for my mag def that's been happening, about < 1 tbsp. I also put some mycorrhizae around the root zone. They're going to live it up!
Here they are today day 15 above ground.

I have to wash that bucket! Yuk!

Highya SO,

I bet they'll jump out of the pot when the roots find some of the good stuff! Close nodes, plenty of leaf area, looking good, SO!! Happy Smokin'

Actually it's not hot.:) I hear it can be used right out of the package without composting it. I was surprised to hear it was composted using a special machine he got subsidised by the feds somehow. I didn't ask to many questions this early. I am curious though.
So you have federal subsidized technology, taking shit from a 3rd world country farm animal held by some rich dude (cause noone in their right mind raises those for profit), and you got aged poo outta the deal to fertilize weed.

fucking 'merica.

Ahoy Stone,
You know I am going to ask. Did you put your freshly calibrated ph pen... LOL, but Otter my bro, stay away from the zoo. Don't want a video of you getting caught jumping in the Gorilla cage to gather some fresh dung for your Gorilla Glue.

Package=llama??:laughtwo:
Mornin Stone

I thought checking pH runoff was pointless in mineralized soils?? Why we do slurry tests.

Just starting my coffee here. Hope you have a sweet mornin.:love::love:

Hi VG,
I am interested in your question knowing Stone is running a living organic soil. Are you saying runoff ph is pointless when the medium is LOS?
Wondering how it works.

Hi VG,

Run off in LOS will give you skewed readings. Minerals, organics etc. will migrate their way into the lower root zone and out the bottom every time you water. This could make you think your pH is much lower than it actually is. It would be alarming to try to read PPM. You could potentially get a really high number that would put an inexperienced grower into a panic.
Fox farms and other craft soils are the same way.
Soil pH can vary quite a bit between the top and bottom of the pot ,so when a slurry is preformed samples are taken from a few locations within the middle of the root zone. Tested independently they will give you a good idea of your over all soil pH.
So to me it seems like an extra step. One that won't give you a clear picture of what is really happening and has potential to confuse.
