im sure this one already exist and is probably a setting justification. I've even tried playing around with the setting notification but still isn't doing what i want. I was hoping that the notifications posts would stay active until i click on the the particular post which then it would take me to that page and mark it as read. Unfortunately, when i click on the notification button all the posts in that notifications become already read. so then i can't figure which one i read and which one i didnt.
That on mobile device? On laptop (Firefox), I left-click on number beside "Alerts," get popup list of notifications. Left-click
anywhere other than that list, it goes away - but read/unread status of threads aren't screwed up, still see unread in bold font on Watched Threads page.
while i was thinking, would it be possible to put a favorite button next to similar posts. Some journals gets lost and having a fav journals to ensure you could follow fully be awesome.
Go to first post in thread, left-click (tap?) on "Bookmark" icon at top right of message (looks like outline of ribbon, sort of). If necessary, when accessing a thread that way, left-click on "Jump to new" (top of thread, on right, just to left of "Unwatch"). Access bookmarked posts/threads via your account menu (left-click on your name at top of page) - or bookmark the following link in your web browser and visit it directly:
Code:

I liked the ability to create "folders" for my subscribed threads and organize them that way (in the previous software) a little better. A lot of that is due to too much head trauma, though, and the (onsite) bookmark function works fine.
The thing I click on most is ‘watched threads’. For me on mobile at least, the link is somewhat buried. I access it by clicking on the so called ‘hamburger’ button at top left- then locating ‘420 forums’ on the long list, then another scroll down through a list to ‘watched threads’. With my limited vision I seem to actually have to hunt for it each time.
It's my main forum (landing) page. I've bookmarked it in all my web browsers. On laptop in Firefox, it shows up (with others) on the screen when I run the browser. When my tablet still worked, in Chrome, I just entered "420" and it auto-completed. Either way, no need to search for it.
I hit the Unanswered Threads page to see if there's anything I can help with, then the New Posts one, and often other things - but I always start with my subscribed threads, so that was the only logical link to use to access the forum.
11 years ago when I first joined the forum, it was possible (
just, usually) to at least skim every thread. Now, there's way too much activity for that, some days - which means I had to put a little thought into my access routine, for... <SHRUGS>. I really only even have to glance at my notifications list to see if someone "paged" me from a thread that I'm not already subscribed to.
Feature request: Hey, Marc, is there any way to change the image viewer so that the zoom level is adjustable? Currently, it's "fits on screen" or "maximum size," with no intermediate steps. I have poor vision, so often have to zoom - but when I end up only having a relatively tiny portion of the picture on the screen, it's nearly as hard to make sense/use of the thing as when it's too small for me to discern details. Some kind of onscreen slider would be great; using our up/down arrow keys would work, too, although my down arrow key must have been used too much when it was new, because it barely works now.
