Canna wine brew.

Smells surprisingly good actually. This is the batch I decarbed. The unmolested batch is in the freezer, both to kill the natural yeasts and till I have more time to deal with it.

...I take it your stuff is all shipped to your door? What kinda prices are you looking at for your line and shipping if ya don't mind me asking? since we're kinda in the same boat being remote and all

Sorry I missed this earlier. Prices are between average- very good. I've dealt with quite a few suppliers around BC and elsewhere in Canada. Best to just check their website and see how it looks pricewise for what you are seeking.

When did Monsanto buy an?

Sorry I was wrong, I just mixed AN with GH..... I ve been known to mix those 2 up! Remo did do videos for AN back in the day though, then started his own nutrient line. What I was reading about was in regards to Monsanto, Scotts and Bayer and how they are gonna take over the industry and start getting rid of strains so they can manage the genetics easier. Something like how there use to be hundreds of strain s of apples and bananas, now only like 12 apple varieties and 1 strain of banana. Sorry again for the mix up, that's how shit rumours get spread and I'm glad ya called me on it:thumb:Big Mike would not be impressed :bitingnails::bitingnails::sorry:

Cool site:thumb:I checked em out and they seem very reasonable and the shipping was super cheap!!:high-five: Lots of goodies there... I m gonna get in trouble I can see it already:volcano-smiley:

Companies like that are pure evil to me. Sucks that under prohibition we'd potentially have a better situation than when it's 'legal'.
Here is the pitiful amount of hash (wet) that I got out of over two gallons of trim and bud. Next run I'll try again using the gentle mixing method. It would be nice to have a little AAA in the curing jar.

Threw four or five of these in the sprouter today just out of curiosity. I don't have high hopes for them sprouting. Got them 12 years ago from a friend who got them from one of his friends- so I don't know what they are exactly. They spent a few years on the shelf before I moved them to the freezer. We shall see...

if you really want them to, they will. Give them lots of time, even temp as possible and drop of h2o2 on top of the wet towel, in three weeks if they done nothing..

Ok done. Thanks. I also lightly sanded the seams.

I usually just rattle them around in a tin lined with sandpaper.

I tried some bagseed from about that time last year and a lot of them cracked open, seemed like a few were even going to sprout, but I got impatient as they were the first seeds I'd ever planted.

If ancient wheat seeds from Egypt can sprout, 12 year old cannibus should sprout 25% at least. Esp if frozen.
that is urban legend, didn't happen. plant them puppies, 5000 years is a little bit longer than 12 yrs. so do it please & report.
What sanding does is called scarification, producers of crops that have hard seed coats(alfalfa, clover, lots of legumes)run the seed
through equipment that scarifies seeds at some point in their process. this will increase germination rate by 10-50% over
their non-scarified brothers & sisters. When seed processors de lint cotton seed the process uses H2S04 which takes the fuzz
off the seed and also performs the scarification by chemical means. If you look at the required labels on seed offered for sale(at least
high volume agricultural seeds) they must list germination rate, pure seed %, weed seed %, other crop seed % and on a lot of
Legumes(clover, alfalfa, crown vetch) they also have a listing for % hard seed. Hard seed % is not counted in germ %, but it
indicates that there is a percentage of seed that may & probably will germinate at a later date.

Different plant seeds have different life expectancies. All I need to do to know that is to go look at my garden right now, where I've been playing around trying to make a dent in a box of hundreds of older seeds I have. About half came up. The tomatoes did well. Got a few peppers going. Many other planted rows are completely bare. Normal life expectancy of cannabis seeds, stored on the shelf, is about 5 or 6 years. Most garden vegetable seeds get 2 or 3 years. Onions and their relatives, also broccoli and spinach -not much more than six months. Meaning that they'll last till next planting season.

Oldest recorded seeds found that sprouted were a type of arctic flower, dated at roughly 32,000 years old.
If my seeds had been stored well or frozen the entire time I'd be more hopeful- but they weren't. Plus I have no idea of their history before I got them. But it's an easy test to find out- so we will see. Worst case- none will sprout/or all will sprout and I'll have to find space for them :)

Storing Seeds

the more oil that is in a seed the shorter their life expectancy in most cases. Not sure about canna oil seeds or others.

how about a knowledgeable person from the Midwest/Canada let us know please.

Hmmmm....... An interesting thought to run across at 4 in the morning. Now you have me wondering if I could get any of these seeds Dale left buried throughout our belongings over 34 years to sprout. :laughtwo: No fair. You all know how I love an adventure. Lol!

The hash...

Getting close to dry now. It's got a wonderful gooey stretchy toffee texture. I'm quite happy with this batch.

I wanna grab a knife and spread it like butter on a good baguette for breakfast.

So, I think I kinda made a discovery regarding the PCs. They seem to respond well to aggressive fan action. I've got one that's been right in front of a fan and it's limbs seem much stronger and not nearly as droopy.
