Yeah true. I just think I'd end up playing into the guys hands and have to spend a bunch more mental energy on him, when what I actually want to do is... not. My experience dealing with toxic egomaniac types is that they mostly want attention and will try to suck it out of you as much as possible. They're sort of like black holes that way. Or brown holes more accurately.
He's never come out and said he won't pay us. In fact he keeps saying he'll 'sort it out'. So I expect he will, eventually/sort of pay us.
This is a small place. His reputation here is already sinking, though he doesn't seem to know it. Not good business. And that sort of thing could make it very difficult for him to make the place work here, and is way more costly in the long run than any nickel and dime savings he makes. How he treats us will directly reflect on his chances of finding any decent employees here.
He's already paying for not paying, he just doesn't seem to realize it for some reason. Must be used to getting whatever he wants.

"Your tools? They're at my buddie's house! No, I can't go over there and get 'em it's a long ways away and I don't have gas money 'til I get paid!"

Well right now we are mainly just focusing on moving out. It's kinda weird there since we are on his property. He's a zillion miles away. Are we employed still? Supposed to be working? I don't know. He's not communicating. But we'll feel that much freer to make decisions when we have the two years worth of our own enterprises and accumulated stuff moved out.
At the moment I'm not touching any of his tools and don't plan to- just using my own for everything. Looking to make a clean break.

Because we are living there we're actually care taking his whole operation and keeping it running- a big part of the job. But in reality other than keeping the place warm and occupied we're just doing our own stuff. Once we're fully moved out, in another week or two, we'll focus more on getting paid for caretaking and for the work we did previously. There was a huge to-do list to gear up for spring/summer, but we threw that away a couple weeks ago as we drifted ever deeper into the... Twilight Zone.

Oh man, and I'd get so much attention . I could form my own brown hole and win followers with my powerful gravitational pull. My enormous ego would stroked. I'd be rich, powerful, and so happy!

Holy shit. Grand intertribal tree-rat conference freak out early this morning. Time to implement battle plan A...

And you could get a Twitter acct....and Tweet all about how great you are...and how mean everyone is to you! Like a 12yo girl... At least that would explain his little tiny hands :)

Yeah it's embarrassing. Fascinating though cause it makes us look at 'us' as a species. Then when we don't like what we see in the magic Trump mirror on the wall we decide to call us 'them'. But we can't stop looking cause it's so revolting and interesting like 'what's under that scab..?', or 'you're drunk and your ass is hanging out oh god I can't stop looking, what's down there?'. We can't stop wondering WTF and WHY? Some perfectly good people like the guy, or at least liked the guy, and I wouldn't want to belittle them because probably for a lot of them, on some level, their intentions were pure and motivations were the same sort of stuff that motivates most of us. I guess we are always a bit attracted to the simple minded hero who will kick ass on all the baddies, vaporize inconvenient myths like looming environmental disaster and whatever other silly realities stand in the way of getting exactly what the fuck we want right the fuck now, and then we all live happily ever after, except the baddies, and uhh... 'them'. Just like a movie. Yay....
Ahh shit now I'm getting caught in the brown hole gravity field too. Must. resist...

I eat a lot of bananas so I got my own brown hole problems.....
Yeah we're gonna get us plenty of environmental disasters now that stupid-is-as-stupid-does lifted his mighty Forrest Trummp pen to a few documents I can't wait to see Lake Yuckamuck when that pipeline running under the river starts leaking after fracking causes an earthquake.
Glad I'm a chimp everybody's them to me! :tokin:

Without getting too political(have seen friendships ended over those discussions)...pipeline concerns are over exaggerated...when dealing with waterway's...the line industry has more fail safe's in place than tanker shipping...if one looks at the cleanup effort after protesters left North Dakota...has to make Ya' wonder!?...cheerz...h00k...:Hookah:

You dudes worrying about shit that some have been saying for last decade is inevitable you know what that word means , it means fuck it  and now its one persons fault that's just come to office in one country  cause all the hard works undone with clean coal or dirty coal if that suits your ears better  when I was early 20's hanging with the cold fushion fractal Mandel brot set crew, it was the poles shifting, don't hear much about that anymore:rofl: inevitable

The poles are indeed shifting, and we have yet to find out what that means to us, if anything. Ahhh..... The mysteries of life. :laughtwo:

Yeah there we go and I was just going to wander in to post that there's at least a couple people on 420, who I personally like a lot, that like the guy, so yeah... politics- blech.
Grizz I'm pretty sure whatever you just said isn't what I believe either. The environmental disaster I'm talking about isn't something I heard somewhere, just the one I see every day in front of my face, in this once wild place I live in. It's fucking sad, is what it is. It's such a dark subject in itself- among all the argument inducing subjects that we could get in a tizzy over from the last few posts, that I'd rather just smoke a bowl and get back to talking about plants here for a bit.
:passitleft:

You might want to keep an eye on all that Peat Moss over there Weasel, it's getting to the point where people are afraid to dig it up in this part of the world as it's destroying the natural habitat of the wildlife. Just thought I would throw that into the mix before your bowl :)

Agreed... I harvested two plants today.

:passitleft:

Might have killed off all the mites.

:passitleft:

Put another few billion hours work into the grow today. Mucked out the veg room. I hacked the Malawi in the seven gallon down to a stump for the second time.

Also the Panama. LST'd the crap out of the Strawberry Blue. Planted a few rooted clones. Up-potted a bunch of stuff including the grafted plants. Stuck the bigger one into a 10 gallon.

IMG_94441.JPG

The Panama and the Malawi are floppy at the tips because I just supercropped them.

Mama Thai graft.

The two Honduras, in one gallon pots, are showing super stretchy growth all of a sudden.

IMG_94472.JPG

I decided to take another approach to them- hacked the tops off and stuck them in the cloner. I'll do that with the GT later as well. Buys me more time and I can sex them as well.

So veg is flattened down a bit and under control for another week, hopefully.

I'm just digging either side mate.. we all add to this shit but we all zombie along, giving them the money to destroy.. it's so ugly and bullshit and everybody is the reason and what's true anyway, who's alive in the end to say 'see I was right' and boxs on a hill side rubbish in a pile while we train the brain to refrain from us going down the drain with blame for shame  I don't know shit but it's going to happen (probably already has from space ) whatever that is that happens:rofl: sorry dude, just stoned not picking scabs, more laughing man..

Plants looking great man :passitleft:

That three-way plant is incredible Weaselcracker. It's singing for you. :battingeyelashes:
