Flat earth and the dome over us anyone??
Bush funeral letters ?
zionist control of european governments ?
Annunaki creating our biosphere for mining gold according to the oldest written/painted records ?
Giants among us in our recent past history erased by religions to keep power Godley rather than Alien ( fallen angels) ?
We have it all under one roof and ready!!!!.

Those sound like some interesting things to think about - though to be honest I know nothing about any of those subjects. Myself I mostly think about what’s happening to the world of the plants and animals around me, including myself as one of those animals I guess, and how I’m going to make my way in this world for another couple decades. I hide my head in the sand as much as humanly possible. Sand meaning wild or at least quiet places, away from people. Managed to make a pretty good sanctuary where my cabin is and hope to make another one if I move further out in the bush in the next few years.

Increasingly this place is becoming a destination for throngs of tourists from the city on ‘guided wilderness vacations’ and whatnot. Like people in general maybe their intentions are good enough individually, but when viewed as hordes the sight is less pretty.

In the summer it also increasingly swarms with sport fishermen. Every year less and less fish, and more and more rich men who jet up here and pay a couple thousand bucks a day to stay in cheesy lodges, be boated around and have their hands held while they hook salmon all day so they can ‘play them’, reel them in and then let them go. Evenings is when the serious drinking gets started and the guests stagger around yelling fish size to dick size ratio jokes har har har. The same jokes that all the other drunk guys have been making every night, every year. Meanwhile the guides get pissed drunk in their own quarters and talk about what idiots the guests are. Every night, all year.

Another starved humpback whale washed up on the beach near here a few days ago, another one three weeks before that, another one a few weeks before that. All the local whales have been assessed as badly malnourished. Most of these whales aren’t eating salmon, still it’s badly symbolic of the ugly mess we are in, and it’s a mess I’ve been forced to see a lot lately. In summer I usually manage to avoid most of this stuff and boat in the less accessible places, but I’ve been working out near a couple of these lodges lately and it’s pretty damn debauched.

I suppose we just all want a piece of the pie, myself included of course.
Dark thoughts I guess, especially after all the uplifting news articles you guys have been providing :laughtwo: but living out here you have to be pretty blind not to think about this stuff. Even being blind doesn’t work when there’s a 60 foot whale rotting upwind :(

It’s sort of unfortunate how this journal lurches along and weeks go by where I dont get time to reply to people’s posts, then I get a couple hours to dump some random junk in the middle of the night before disappearing again. Never fear dear readers all posts are read and appreciated here at weasel’s head-forging emporium, so keep sending them in. Cash is always welcome too :thumb:

Truth be told I’m still turning over some posts in my head from last year that I always meant to get around to replying to. Probably never will, but the appreciation for the posts still marginally outweighs the guilt over not having come up with suitably good replies at the time. So thanks.

Harvested a Chocolope today. I’d been leaving this one hoping it would do the ‘ripening on the vine’ thing. Also hoping to take some of the edge off of its super speedy high.

Chocolope is a weird-ass plant that always grows like its revegging. A single stemmed structure with a lot of single and triple blades leaves. To me it has a sort of Dr Seuss look to it. Every clone I grow if it has this reveggy look.

Here’s one I just put in to flowering recently. One of the ones being powered by bunny turds.

The one I harvested today. At 94 days it still looked like I could’ve left it a bit longer if I wanted the maximum vine-ripened effect, but I am going to be pretty busy the next week or two and I’ve probably got to chop a couple plants now while I have any time at all.

The reason it has this shape, like most of my plants lately, is that rather than topping the plants I’ve been crimping the stems and bending them over on themselves. I’ll do this several times to each plant, just bending them back towards inward towards the main stem whenever they get a bit tall. After a while they get this sort of raggedy moptop look, which isn’t exactly a showstopper but it’s one way of keeping them under control when they’re getting too tall. Which is what happens when you are too busy to keep up.
I’m actually getting a bit tired of this sloppy messy Dr. Seuss plant thing I’ve been doing lately and should probably make an effort to do something else soon.

I don’t know if you can tell from the pictures but the way the buds grow on this plant they are mostly golf ball sized (if golf balls had foxtails) and they are very very hard and dense. It’s quite an interesting strain, smells good too.

PITA as the chocolope may be, it seems she compensates that PITA with an extra measure or two of frostiness.

Thanks :). The Choc actually isn’t a PITA to grow at all. In fact it’s been good to me- no mould and not much fuss. Its just a little different from the others. I don’t think of it as much of a yielder but this one looks like it did well actually. I got a few dozen G Tiger x Choc seeds off of it as well. Should be a speedy cross :slide:
I got my five hours sleep for the night ha ha.

This is one of the bunny turd experiment plants, a Tutankhamen.

Behind the Tut is a mess of P Chunk- two different phenos. At least one of which I have to harvest very soon- hopefully today.

The plants seem to have come around a bit from the last feeding. It gets hard to tell what’s going on after a while when you’ve kicked the plants around too much for too long. They have a bit of a magnesium def look, but maybe that actually makes sense for once as my Mg is a bit low.

I found a little bit more info on rabbit manure from some website. In this case they’d turned it into a liquid fertilizer. Scaling up the numbers of the diluted mix they used, to put the percentages within the ranges I usually see for undiluted manure, I come up with the following numbers

N- 2.3
P - 2.7
K - 1.6
Ca - 1.1
Mg- .57
Mn- .12
Fe- .05
Cu- 1.6
Zn- .01

I don’t know why they haven’t listed sulphur or boron. But other sites I see seem to think that stuff is in there too.
Numbers mostly look OK as far as I understand them. Copper is way off the charts I’m not sure what that means But all my garden always seem happy with the stuff.

Are those numbers all soluble elements? If no, microbes would be needed to break that matter down to ionic and the result is that it would buffer the higher concentrations of things like copper. You should try to see how these numbers compare with other creature's poopies, especially EWC. All I know about the EWC I used is that it's 1-0-0, but I never looked to see what else is in there. Maybe I should, huh?

heya friend,, and friends,, cheers to y'all

fabbo plants as usual weaseley,, bunny power all the way eh?

perty groovy anyhoo, i thot, thot i'd share

cheers friends

Are those numbers all soluble elements?

Of course, ha ha. I don’t know. Presumably not. Makes total sense now that I think about it - that listing the ratios of elements in an organic mix is not exactly the same as listing the soluble ingredients on the label on a bottle.
Mostly I’m just happy to see so many of those elements on the list. It’s more than I could say for my Botanicare bottles.
I have no idea where to draw the line between organic and hydro in the soilless I’m growing in.
Whichever way I slice it, my garden plants are mostly looking stupendous, and they’re in the same stuff with bunny crap. So the main question for me is how the bud does throughout flowering, with those turds :)

Hey Nivek. I grew one of your Lemon Haze crosses once. A different one - it was a frosty little beauty. Looked a bit like that one you’re showing. I smoked it all...
Those Mama Thai crosses have cool leaves eh? I definitely never had a 12 bladed one. Usually 11, great big suckers.
Gotta run and harvest one of those PC plants now before company shows up and smells my yard.

~P Chunk #2~

The first batch of PC seeds I got four (?) years ago all seemed to produce the same pheno. The sticky smelly dank mistletoe version I’ve been struggling with ever since. I grew out a few seed seeds of it and they all seemed about the same. I still have that original PC going but can’t seem to get it to live up to its former not so glorious glory any longer. I’m still dragging it along thinking maybe I can rework my nutrient regime enough to make it happy. The clone may just be too old now and maybe that’s why it’s failing, I don’t know. Last trick will be to self pollinate and/or cross it with one of the new PC phenos.

The two new PC seeds I planted are distinctly different phenotypes. This one has lots of large buds with pointy calyxes and a cat piss smell. Seems to be a good yielder, and it’s easy to trim as well. It has nowhere near the stickiness level of that original PC, but neither does anything else I grow.
Once this batch cures a little I’ll find a victim to test it out on. After that last experience smoking Chocolate Mint I’m scared to try anything with much indica in it.

Harvested at 82 days so just shy of 12 weeks. This is more or less the level of ripeness I like to see when harvesting.

The apical bud, which is generally the most mature spot, has some sugar leaf die-back. This usually becomes the tipping point when you leave a plant to flower late. Trimming out the dead leaves can be a pain, and also they’re a magnet for mould. In this case there was no mould though and the trimming was easy.

Colours starting to come out a little.

A little purple starting to show up. If I’d left the plant another week I think it would have been looking pretty fancy. But there would have been a lot more of that dead leaf to contend with too.

How does love turn this vile so quickly? Doesn't it just shake your faith in your fellow man. Oh it sucks. Your point about the childish nature of it all seems really spot-on.
I suspect it's really the fact that weed to some folks is more equivalent to money then the love we feel when sharing it. Doesn't it just piss you right the fuck off that one of your friends took that opportunity away from you?
Me too. Been there, done that. Many times. Many friends. Many I don't see anymore that were once very welcomed and frequent visitors in my world.

I ran into this fellow yesterday and as predicted he gave me a couple salmon and a story of woe. The story of woe didn’t sound all that woeful to me and I had to roll my eyes. But the salmon is very tasty.
Yeah it sounds like you’ve been hit hard with this crap Tead. What does it mean? Is it partly the nature of the place you live in there, I wonder. Here where I live you’re always going to bump into those people again, so they can’t really screw someone over too badly without facing the consequences. Not that it doesn’t happen. And it sucks. The only explanation I can find is that in the end the person just thinks your money/weed/belongings are better off in his pocket than yours. They’re just ‘better’ than you. A lot better.
In the end I usually end up blaming myself, but sometimes there’s only one way to find out whether a person can be trusted.

Also to my way of thinking there are two sides to human nature- the way we act one on one, and the way we act in groups.
Group mentality -well that’s not really a world I like to deal with anyway. I figure you can pretty much expect to be screwed one way or another. The main question is whether or not you’re selling yourself, and getting compensated for the screwing, or just being screwed. Good profit n working the crowd if you’re selling.

But getting screwed one on one- that’s so much more vile.
