Ha ha :laughtwo: Yeah they started fast and I could see what was coming- another one of those floor-mop things I like to grow sometimes.
Like this one.

By the way I started smoking some of this Ethiopian, and after a cure it seemed like it got quite a lot stronger. It’s the speediest stuff I’ve ever smoked. Holy shit. I like speedy weed as long as it’s got a nice glow to it, but this stuff is so jittery I thought I might jitter apart, without the nice glow. They could give it to those poor suckers at Guantanamo- wouldn’t have to worry about them dozing off on the job anymore. After a week they’d probably be asking to get the relaxing strobe lights and metal tunes back.

I also made a gallon or two of wine from the Ethiopian- which I should bottle and test soon.

Wow that was spitting out nanners hard! I just culled out a GG that was doing same thing. No need to risk pollen floating around

I got 3 GG's half through veg now. When yours hermed, did you notice any peculiar growth characteristics that preceded the nanners? The reason I ask is my tallest one went internodal 1 up from being topped for the first time.

Mine was 6 weeks in and went bananas on me. But in all fairness it was a bagseed from a problem plant a friend of mine grew. I couldn't make it happy from the start. I just had high hopes because the weed was so good. I can deal with a nanner towards the end of the grow, but this one had pockets of them everywhere. Like 6 - 8 at a time. I know GG is prone to Herm. If I remember correctly it originally came from a Herm

I read the same thing about GG being super freaky. Mine isn't an original, but free beans (Herbie's Bulk). They look good now in veg, but I found starting internodal stacking so soon to be a bit aggressive in terms of growth progression. Usually I can top out many times with even splits, but not this chicky I guess.

Nanners aren’t really a dealbreaker for me, unless there’s a ton of them. But usually there aren’t. They usually don’t produce a lot of viable pollen, and when they appear late in flowering they don’t have enough time to ruin things. Hopefully.
Potchimp said he had a nanner problem with this strain. I was already suspicious about it because of its appearance though. Seem like when I get buds with this particular structure I often get a few nanners. The calyxes aren’t distinctively pointy and the buds have what I call a ‘pearled’ look- like they’re composed of a bunch of round pea sized balls glommed together. Hard to see what’s a calyx and what’s a nanner waiting to emerge.

Note - started two autos today for growing outside- Amphetamine, and Purple Paralysis. It’s an attempt to get rid of some of the freebie auto seeds I’ve accumulated. Never grown an auto before and really have no interest in them. Actually I’ve somehow managed to get a little biased against the whole auto-grower scene for some reason. Which I realize is probably stupid. Not sure what happened... but whatever, it’s summer and now or never.
Screwed things up already cause I realized after I’d planted it that the PP isn’t actually an auto :( Damn- shoulda read the package fine print more closely. Oh well I’ll let it do its thing, and/or plant an auto for replacement. They’re just for decoration really. The deer ate those ones in my compost bins.

Yes if they work out I’ll make hash out of them.
I think part of it stems from me not understanding why any would grow autos indoors. The only answer I ever got was that everyone is in a big hurry.
I constantly see people on the forum struggling with their autos, and unlike with photos- once they’ve taken a hit, they’re not recovering. They’re generally small plants to begin with. Newbies all over are growing autos, and unless they do it right the first time their results are crap, and then they have to go buy more seeds to start again, cause they can’t clone, don’t have time to fix issues, can’t veg longer, can’t reveg, etc.
Also I once unwittingly ran afoul of some group of auto fanatics when I said a plant they were admiring wasn’t very large. I didn’t realize size was so important. Mortally offended a bunch of them and they wanted blood. A bunch of encounters like that left me a little jaded with the auto scene. Perhaps growing some will cure me of my hangups....

You know when you do something and your so involved with what your doing, you see progress, think its worthwhile...then a mate comes with the right tools, nailgun dropsaw and whats taken months was actually two days work .that's how I feel about autos, lol

Got my LEDs today. Finally. They made it to Northern BC from China in three days- I got a notification that they’d be at my house by the end of the day. Then they vanished into the twilight zone for another ten days. I guess weather messed up the smoke signals and nobody could get through to the Canada Post oxcart drivers.
I was about to get a refund. But here they are. And they’re bright as hell I think I fried what’s left of my eyes.o_O

No, wrong way around  months flowering autos creates same strength as a two day flowering photo :rofl: apparently some are good. All i grown been weakass dwarf's with something not right or missing, I don't know maybe bias but flowers smoke different

Full on light, aren't they.. told you not to glance at them...

That's all ya get - a glance. Any longer than that, and it's dots all the way down. :laughtwo: Dots n dots n dots. Blink, blink - dots.
