Yep, although I was talking about supporting it from below the principle is still the same. Based on GF's concerns with putting pressure into the trunk thus cutting off the supply route this IS way more effective.

Introducing a new girl to add a little more something for all the great visitors that come here.

PRESENTING a new FluxFace! name pending, suggestions? or Split? or Despy?

This is plant that was on the the sidelines, behind the scenes, she's a "back-up" and very upset

'cause she has never been shown in public. To show us all how serious she is about getting some 420 love,

she tried to kill herself. Her desperate attempt to get attention has worked,

there will be no suicides with sad endings in my yard.

i think we should call her Split or Despy (whatta ya tink?) which one?

she's from a fem- seed (non auto) her strain is a banned strain name Green C**ck

She's flowering because she was outside a bit early in the season grown outside since birth,

there's a good chance that she'll revert to veg, but I'm thinking she will continue flowering, time will tell.

here she is today, in full restraint.

She's a WHAT ?

Someone I know got ticked off for THAT word yesterday !

It seems that "Shovel Man", think his name is "Slowgro", just told us that his lady is called "Miss Kitty" and she is the "Original" since she is already 5 weeks into flower. Me & Ruth, she's my mule, needs to figure out a new name for my Lil lady.

We don't play second fiddle to no ones.

Since we both'd helped you out, now's it's time for you to help us out, since that "Compost Shoveling Man" went and rained on our parade.

Well, Ole Festus, I shore am sorry about that - my original suggestion was that we collaborate using my Miss Kitty - guess that wasn't clear.

But my Miss Kitty was all excited about having a namesake, as your Miss Kitty is bound to take the name to fame and glory, while mine will finish quietly in relative anonymity, and in no way steal her thunder.

What's more, Miss Kitty is the perfect name, you bein Festus an all, while my Miss Kitty got her name based on her having nine lives. My girl has led a long life - she sprouted Sept 1 - she has had her ups and downs, and after them all she is happy and healthy. She and I both humbly request that you reconsider - grant the final wish of this grand old lady - that she live long enough to know the torch has passed to a worthy successor.

BB - I've dealt with slugs a fair amount. Put out a few shallow bowls with a
couple cm of beer in them, set mostly into the ground.
It's like moths to a flame - they crawl in and drown.
You'll be impressed with the first few night's catch,
but it will taper off. I've never met a teetotaler slug.
I'm confident this will do the trick for you.

They like pot, but they love beer, cheaper the better!

I've found this can get pricey trying to control a whole veg and flower garden....
they love Dahlias, if you want to distract them

We have snails here, but like the food in my yard, but they only like it for an hour, (then it kicks in)

special snail food, guaranteed to be their last meal, tastes great kills fast.

I was a thinkin Maybe, Miss Kitty isn't the proper name to begins with. Kitty was never married as far as "Ole Festus" can reckon and my Lady is going to be pollinated by a male Purp.

There's another character on my show that I really took a likin to. Her name is "Dirty Sally" & I think that name will suit my lil Lady just plum fine. What do ya think Slowgro?
