Now i have one power strip on each wall and each light hanging separately.

Everything else is the same. I have the left strip as end of the line where the light timer is. This strip is programmable on one side, but I haven't yet figured it out. If i can't, I'll need to get a second dial type timer to work the lights according to each plant's needs. I hung up some nylon screen to shade my eyes from the higher light.

2 clip on fans in each back corner blowing down on the plants and an upper fan to exhaust the extra heat.

I have two air pumps at each side at 5.5 feet; Tetra whisper 300's with dual outlets each and a third single line 150 pump for the five gallon premix nutes and airiated water, 5 air lines in total (more than I need but they sure love a lot of oxygen).

Work hard; play harder; you forgot to mention HURT A HELLUVA LOT!!

Storm forced me to sleep in my trailblazer last night from no power and worked through it most of today thanx to my DeWalt, it was dark, hot and humid!!! My only lighting was a HOTTT Coleman propane camping lantern (slash) heater; and I lost 5 pounds of sweat...

still needs a little more tweaking with long wires in the way. My extra long air hoses are confined to both back corners with each bucket joined by a disconnect. I wish I could post a video tour right here without a third party up link.

Is there a special thread for posting this kind of complete grow room how-to project. I would definitely take the time to create a simplified small grow room or "Closet" grow. Combining all the stuff I learned from 420 grow buddies along with all my money saving macgyver'ish inventions could even earn me an attaboy for making things nearly labor free for beginners like me.

Besides weekly water changes (including root mass inspections) along with my DIY water level indicator, there's no reason to look inside the bubble buckets, I even include a tiny air hose hole for siphoning mid-week water quality checks.

If I could, I would like to see someone put my ideas into their own growing experiences and promote my meager ideas with improvements of their own.

My setup helps cancel the issue of cross containments and is actually safer for each plant. In about one hour per week actual labor, I have room for up to 2 or 3 ongoing plants.

My changes this week leaves everything as it was prior, except for the light hangers and electrical access.

As it is right now, I wouldn't have very much room for improvement. Except for the lights, air pumps and nutrients, everything else in my setup is just nickel and dime. Allowing anyone to slowly complete the setup over time (testing meters, fans, even my nutrient setup complies with my "Less work is better routine".

The most work out of everything involved with my grow is "The Harvest"!!!

However, I'm a helluva long way from offering anybody advice about actual PLANT STUFF!!!......

I tried to make a video a while back and I couldn't devote enough time to a comprehensive video. I'm too ugly for face time; I really don't like the sound of my own voice!

I'd rather hire an actor!
Any volunteers?

Maybe there's an app to make me sound like Tom Selleck or Patrick Stewart incorporate it with the video. Then wear a bag over my head like "The Unknown Comic"...

Updated grow journal.

First is this HUGE Quebec Gold today turned 12 weeks old and it's first signs of flowering was about 2 weeks ago and is progressing VERY Slowly. It was said to be an autoflowering but at 12 weeks the flowers should be at least as big as the Auto Kush now 7 weeks

Next is the short bushy auto kush 7 weeks old. Flowers are very pronounced.

Heading for the finish line is gonna be anybody's guess.

That Quebec Gold may be a photo period plant. The auto flower version is supposed to grow from seed to harvest in ten weeks. You might want to try switching to 12/12 lighting to see if she'll start putting out for you.

With the exception of the Chemdawg, all my purchases have been strictly for "autoflowering" but yet, this may be my second "undeclared" seed vendors substitution. May not even be a Quebec Gold, who can really tell, it could be anything really!

My two lights only have one timer (dial type). However I own a power strip with half constant power and half with programmable outlets with battery backup. I just need to figure this damn thing out!! I should have done this 6 months ago. I'll likely just buy another dial type timer. Set of 2 is $12 on Amazon. The problem is that i just promised my grandkids 60 each for school supplies and that cleaned me out. I take better care of my grandkids than I do myself.

I AM BORDERLINE ON "HEY BROTHER; CAN YOU SPARE A DIME?" On some cold corner somewhere.

I feel stupid when it comes to buying seeds. It's been like that infamous "Box Of Chocolates ". These past 4 seed buys has barely paid off. Most of my gains have been in "LESSONS LEARNED"!

I might hang a curtain between the younger plants while I go to 12/12 on the Gold.

Now that Salt points it out, this same thing happened with my Killer NUKE CBD grow. Thought it was a autoflowering and turned out to be a photo. If the plant has started flowering, I am probably once again too late to take a cutting for a clone.

I've been keeping a running log in this thread but it never occurred to me to just flippin ask someone! I know that asking questions is and should be, more my focus. But my ego is blurring my purpose of being here; that is to learn. But I need to shake off my tangled up hardware concerns and refocus on the grow.

Thanks for the gentle wake up call.

It'll be a long couple months to the finish. But at least now I can look at it with new eyes. It's gonna be a big harvest!! I'm gonna strike gold...

If I ever get the hang this Photoperiod vs. Autoflowering some way and where I want it to go, it can be a sustainable (albeit tiny) garden.
:Namaste:

In the beginning the plan was to have a continuous grow of 3 "auto's" with each one a month apart. Thus a perpetual smaller but good stash to consume (3 to 5 grams a week or so) with an ever widening variety in the cupboard.

Now it's anything goes and make the best from this potential Chemdawg for a perpetual zen garden.

I was just thinking - a really bad sign...

They breed in ruderalis with a strain to get auto flowering seeds. If the ruderalis genetics are not strong enough, you end up with a 'fast' plant. You'll need to keep a close eye on that Quebec Gold, as there's no way to tell what her flowering period will be.
