Life is what you make it. You get to control how you respond to the hiccups. I think if you have depressive tendencies it’s okay to take a dark day and just wallow, two at the most. After that you just gotta get on with it. Get outside your head. Focus on others, not your own feelings. If that doesn’t work, it’s time to book in to the doctor. Chronic depression and anxiety can be managed, but you need to help you.
It is a battle I know well, in a war that is never ending. That said, since I found a solid mental health wellness plan, I’ve stopped planning my own suicide. Lol! As my grandma used to say “depression is all fun and games till your hanging from a tree..”
