The last of the strings and baskets are going into place today.
I'll shoot a few tric pics for grins then I'm looking for lumber.

Is it better to have a few immature buds than a bin full of rotten mature ones??
I've chopped out enough to break the heart of any mortal soul.
I fear waiting will only bring more heartache
I can't justify chopping fluffy white pistils though.
I'm doing light dep next year.
Harvest in September the heck with this nonsense.
I'm sitting here watching 30 pounds dissappear before my very eyes.

Hope your doing well buddy.
As you see in the pics I'm dealing with less than mature buds.
And chopping is the only way to stop the Rot Monster in this weather.
Cold an freeken wet, wet, wet.
Even my hurricane conditions can't sweep it away.
What to do?
At least it'll be something to make concentrates from, if it's immature.

I ventured in trusty axe at hand.
Much to my dismay nothing not 1 of the 25 are close enough.
I couldn’t find a branch I was comfortable removing let alone a whole plant.
Back to the drawing board.
New plan, hehe
There always has to be a back up plan.
Drying room is ready , Jars are clean ,grove bags are in the cart.
Just need a number.
Going to have a bong pull up my Sox and crack out the citric acid.
Once more info the fray.

Oh, dude, I "invented" something. It's good. Very, very, very good.
I'm vaping RSO (FECO) oil.
This is Oil that I made from 5 OZ of buds from 4 different plants. I used grain alcohol, plants and solvent both kept below zero celsius. There's no chlorophyll in it, at all, but all the cannabinoids are here. I even collected the grain alcohol to use again, on my very first try! (really just a fluke that I had the equipment)
Anyway, I got about 15mls of it, all told. Decided on a test: try and cut down a small bit of RSO with the vape juice critical ingredient: propylene glycol (PG). PG can be used as a solvent itself on cannabis, in an attempt to separate and harvest the surface-dwelling secondary metabolites (plant sweat) into a fluid that itself is one of the best vaping choices, whatever the concentrate you have waiting for it...
I brought exactly that with me to the hospital in fact. Vape sauce I'd made from soaking and coaxing decarbed buds in 180deg PG for 40 minutes. I used only 8 grams to make the sauce and it is enough to get me toasted, every day, for the next 6 months. No exaggeration. Not that I'll need to rely on that alone for supply...
But this, yah, nah... this is oil.... this is an order of magnitude higher. More than 10x stronger. I'm calling this serious progress. A friend dropped by yesterday, someone who consumes much more thc than me at at my average over last 3 years, and I got him to test the Oil for me and he was blitzed when he left 60min later. Blitzed I tell ya.
Getting that edible, concentrated RSO to diffuse into the PG is the key so you need to match or overmatch temps., be deliberate, just like anything else.
Coaxing the crazy 'RSO buzz' to now hit you like a freight train b/c it's from a vape, is seriously good fun. Tastes incredible too, it must be said. Unexpected. This shit's a freight train.
