Visualize Whirrled Peas: A Perpetual Garden By 013

Hey TraLa!

You are always welcome to peek over my shoulder, wouldn’t have it any other way!

Well nobody wanted to freak you out about pests plus you just setup shop so a new environment doesn’t have critters. Pest control is part of growing. Checking canopy looking for the flyers, the crawlers in soil,, and the tiny ones on the leaves is how you determine what’s invading your garden. Fungus gnat & root aphid larvae feed on roots too. Lots of people have infected their own garden by bringing home clones gifted from a friend.... or from yard work etc and bringing critters back. Yeah baby - it’s Venereal Disease time all over

It’s just a 2 lens jewelers loupe or some are tiny 30 / 60 X handheld microscopes, search online or grow shop $15 - $20 bucks here. Then you can actually see mites or eggs on your leaves. Without the scope you will never see what’s really happening amd same scope can be used to check color & size of trichomes to know when to harvest.

When I find my scope I’ll shoot a pic but tiny rectangle black box about the size of pack of chewing gum. It’s got battery & adjustable eye piece stem, focus dial and a reflector mirror. Some are more hi tech and connect to laptop via usb cable

Oh I see!

A loupe hey? Sounds very French. Here we call them a strong looky looky glass. I actually bought one 30/60/90 because I thought you needed it for sexing - that’s another embarrassing failure in itself but I digress....

Turns out I have like real trouble working out which eye to close when peering. I had the same trouble as a kid with a telescope.

It’s not easy being me.

Wrong tool altogether for sexing... you need at least 2 bottles of wine for proper sexing!

Yours is better, mine is only 30/60, you will find it handy in the garden
LOL

If I can ever work out how to focus using the rotten thing! Just when I think I‘ve got a visual, I lose it.

I’m so unco sometimes.

What are you doing with your new seedlings - ever figure out a spot to keep her?
Well this very morning we had a situation, because that’s how I grow roll.

So I just watered them, hour job FYI. And I forgot the seedlings were balancing in the middle of the pots on a jar top In the tent. Wasn’t till I went to get my final pot that I spotted an overturned seedling tray and poor Quinn had somehow been thrown clear of the wreckage, tiny twisted body limp, delicate single root exposed.

Ive once again transplanted her, I don’t hold out much hope.

Please don’t call plant welfare on me. I’ll do better I promise.

Am I the only person in this place that needs a cry motey?

Cannabis on the cob anyone?

This is a blend of 3 Paki Valley clone sisters, the girls were named 2, 4 & 6 due to the number of limbs after topping & training, girl 2 was harvested clear to cloudy, girl 6 was harvested cloudy to Amber and girl 4 was Amber to crispy. The container plus rootball and all for each of the 3 girls were double garbage bagged and duct taped onto the plant stem. The containers were inverted and bud washed in giant wash tubs. They were hung upside down for 21 days in the container with plant stalk and all in 65 rh dark room with positive air flow

50 grams of each of the 3 clone sisters #2, #4 & #6 were measured out and blended together. Double wrapped in foil and compressed. Here is the cob after 24 hour sweat at 108F in an Instant Pot.

I can’t wait to see them after the cure and then again later once they dry. They cool thing is these will be slowly working - just doing their magic and I’ll have 4 zips stored up for later on down the road. I may try to buy a vacuum sealer before long but I’ve done cobs before successfully the traditional way - wrapped in corn husks that had been soaked in water. You’ve got to wrap them tight to remove air using twine or garden wire & seal up the ends with it too. You need to use fresh harvest bud - not something that’s already been cured & dried. With cobs you can take a monster hit without coughing. They can be chewed and consumed too, for those who can’t smoke. The cobs will be opened for inspection at regular intervals, theses will be amazing to sample around October!

Listen 013, I’m going to be honest.

It looks like something from a hospital bedpan.

I‘m hoping her inside is beautiful, because if you‘re trying to sell her based on what’s on the outside, you really need to put some lipstick on it and maybe put a bow in her hair.

Cobs are like hash but different. Hash is trichomes rolled into a ball or pressed in a sheet. Cobs are made from whole buds, sealed and compressed, sweated, cured & dried.

Oh that’s too funny! It’s a bedpan nugget... oh my gosh. No I don’t sell anything EVER, but I guess you are right- lipstick and bows belong on an ugly pig!

Just you wait until you see her in October, for this old cowboy she will do nicely! For the first time in a long time I’ve got stash, a pint of infused EVOO, 2 gallons of bud, 4 zips green dragon, 4 zips sugar leaf for rso, a pint of ABV, dried cobs from January and the other ready to harvest pair of clone sisters.

Now to get some sativas going.

Hash is much cleaner and better than cobs.

Hash is nothing but the glitter, it’s separating the trichs away from the bud.
Looks interesting.

We don’t seem to get a lot of hash here. And I’ve only ever smoked hash oil once in my life and it was years ago. I think I bought it in a capsule, but my memory can’t truly be trusted.
