Visualize Whirrled Peas: A Perpetual Garden By 013

I killed a bunch of seeds & seedlings. Only 6 beans remain between me & total dankruptcy, still can’t find my hidey hole for beans. Finally kept a plant alive so I took a few cuttings while she was young. Those cuttings rooted into proper clones so I sez to my self... self it would be good if you kept doing this. So I cloned the clones and so on, 5 generations so far. I’m looking forward to dropping new beans one day but did the clone thing just to leverage costs. I’d much rather grow from new beans, but rather than open & close bunch of journals just did perpetual garden & keep her going year round.

TraLa, don’t worry about gender for now but in a few weeks ask GanjaGrandaddy to help guide you to take early cuttings from low on your plants. But mark the clones by their mother like Minxie then the cuttings would be Minxie A & B. Then when Minxie shows it’s gender you can send her to flower & still grow out her babies later. If the host plant turns out female - the 2 cuttings will be ladies also.

If the Minxie turns out male you can always decide a different course of action. No worries

I have turned into a deviant!

(who am I kidding, I was always a bit of a deviant... :laughtwo: )

I spend the bulk of my day worrying about my plants genitals!

Actually I’m not looking since I’ve got a bunch other crap rolling right now. I’m kinda disorganized due to life change but working to create order from chaos! I will get back on the hunt next week.

Short answer - nope not yet... they are right here but it was a hide em fast kinda deal and that scares me. Surely they are close yet I just can’t remember... (yeah but don’t call me Shirley) Hate when I do stupid crap!

I’ve done it once again, I screwed the pooch, thought it was over, that the lesson was learned. Apparently not huh? Don’t laugh - you’ve done it too.

Mark my words, if you haven’t yet - soon you will.

Apparently two weeks ago I bumped the freaking analog timer in the veg tent and 4, yes 4 - of the freaky deaky 30 minute pins were reversed. It reset the light schedule from 13 ON to 13 OFF. Yes, I’ve got a digital timer too - they also suck. Can’t somebody make a reliable timer? One that flashes and/or beeps to notify of a power outage. One that’s as dependable as we all need. The pins are fine maybe put idiot proof cover on assembly to protect pin settings. Now my clone mother is showing her curly hairs and I’m pissed. She will be fine all monster cropped & shit, then revegged but it hosed with the plan.

Maybe I’ll cut up a Tupperware or storage tub and make a new home for the f%#@*~^ timer. This timer doesn’t deserve a new home but maybe I’ve overlooked its dilemma, it’s an analog device in a digital world.

Garden is mostly chill now. A pair of ladies in flower room nearing the end - guessing 2 to 4 weeks remain. Next up - 4 cloned teen chicks (just turned 16 of course) are 2 weeks into flashing pearly whites, I planned to veg them longer but for timer malfunction.

Last are 5 small, jail bait, monster-cropped, cloned sisters. I’m pushing them longer in veg, each has a 1 gallon container - going for as root bound as possible.

That’s all I’ve got for now.
Damn. That’s some bad luck.

We are cruising along with lefty & righty a pair of clone sisters, bad news is the girls got the clap, yup you heard right. It’s VD in the form of fungus gnats. Been going on a while and I’m ok with it, yes I need to nail protocols down but I’m also trying to not nuke the soil with hydrogen peroxide. Life’s been busy & I haven’t been consistent with mosquito dunks.

So righty girl has a lot of cooked up fans & sugar leaves that are browned out. But her sister lefty looks nice. Yeah not cool but I’ve got sticky traps in my pics. They’ve been in flower for about 7 - 8 weeks now so I’m good with the girls chewing up or browning out their own fan leaves. It’s not pretty but that cured bud will be nice!! I’m teasing them with light as they finish up. One day of light, two days of darkness and so on.

Hey TraLa!

Thanks for checking me out, I skipped couple days there.

Nope- no need to worry, but watch the space between the light and the canopy to see if any critters are flying. Also watch to see if there are any gnats, bugs or larvae crawling on your soil, and check foliage for bites on edges or mites under leaves. Have you got a loupe or scope to view with?

I’ve had gnats for a while & failed to conquer them. But I’m using yellow sticky cards plus 1/8 of mosquito dunk soaked in 5 gallons or water for 48 hours & stirred with paint stir paddle type drill bit. I’m not gonna get them all but I’m winning by keeping numbers in check. I’m outdoors all the time too so I feel lucky it’s just the fungus gnats.

I‘m always peeping over your shoulder! I’m a creeper like that :)

OMG why was I never told about this critter option in both air and soil? And what is loupe and what scope? I usually view them with my eyeballs. Lolling!

Oh sweet Jesus!

I‘ll have to google gnat, I’m not even sure what it is, but I’m guessing that g is silent. Seriously why bother with it?! Just makes spelling so much harder, omg don’t even get me started on the k in knife!
