Visualize Whirrled Peas: A Perpetual Garden By 013

Ah that’s perfect to clean up after the males, never heard of Jeyes Fluid, but see it’s UK based. US based here. Maybe try sulfur dust applied to top layer of soil, sulfur is indicated for use to prevent rust, mites, thrips, botyritis and wpm. Although it’s not listed to control fungus gnats they do hate to land on SD treated soil so they move on.

Remember it’s a preventative not a cure but used at intervals thru veg and part way thru flower cycle it should help carry thru to the end without a problem. I’ve read before that most experienced growers didn’t like using in flower or late flower, I think that was due to concerns it would impart a bad taste in the produce. I guess that’s like wearing plaids and stripes together... I don’t know. he he.

I’ve used it on several grows and can’t tell that it’s affecting taste but I may not have the most discerning sense of smell and taste.

In fact I had discontinued the use of sulfur lately here over past 6 weeks and that’s probably why the spider mites are back... however I’m an outdoorsman and I have mutts - so there ya go.

Ok mental note... the sulfur is functioning at control but needs to be reapplied once every 2-3 weeks

well I hope you get tent cleaned and plants where they belong!

Thanks again 013, Jeyes Fluid is a British product but I'd be surprised if it's not Worlwide as the queen uses it and gave it an official Royal warrant.

We're moving back to Ohio next year though, so I will check out sulfur dust... cool!

I'm sure it’s a great product, haven't seen it here but haven’t looked for it either. I’m having a hard time picturing the Queen hosing down the walkway or cleaning the bathtub.... Oh wow, that’s a cultural paradigm shift
:p:p:p I just got a smile at the thought of her up to her elbows in dog sh*t as well. She has about 20 Corgi's and dozens of Horses at just one of her homes in London though, so maybe her animal carers use it!

Ah today is Dec 2nd it seems 2020 the year of Corona is nearly done. Dont get too excited 2020 is done but sadly ’rona ain’t. The garden is relatively quiet now and that’s scary, I did see a flyer over top of the canopy yesterday, but I am nuking with Spinosad too.

I upcanned the Hawaiin Haze, but didn’t turn out like I wanted. I was trying to remove the plant from the 3 gallon bucket but couldn’t. In exasperation drilled couple dozen more 1/2 inch holes in the sides and bottom of her bucket then placed her bucket and all into a 16 gallon tub of 90 day cooked home brew LOS.

Watering and gravity should encourage her roots to find the holes, maybe then she can utilize at least some of the soil in the 16 gallon tub. Hate I couldn’t do a regular upcan but it’s my only 3 gallon square bucket and I didn’t want to cut the bucket to get it off the plant. Was working solo so had to improvise.

I also upcanned the surviving Pakistan Valley clone sister from her 2 gallon bucket into a 7.5 gallon air pot. She’s a monster cropped hairy mother, battle scarred 3 or 4 rounds of the clap, she’s got k def pretty bad. So I’m jacking her up with bovine testicular hair collected while running with the bulls in Pamplona but just in case that don’t fix it - I’ve spiked in 4 cones of kelp and sprinkled wood ash plus I’m hitting her with coconut water

I’m hoping this first cold snap in weather will discourage bugs but not slow down any germinating beans or new plant starts. Water boarded a few new beans but so far I’m owning my rep as premier seed killer and grower most likely to kill, main or stunt an auto-flower.

This is Decca, a little Hawaiin Haze mongrel with 10 arms. I need to level the arms to even her canopy out again. She hasn’t grown much lately I’ve got to get flower room temps raised a bit. The LED runs cooler than the 600 hps did so yeah. This is her after a failed upcan - eventually decided to forgo the traditional upcan and ended up drilling out a coule dozen more holes in sides and bottom of her bucket and stacking her 3 gallon tub into a 16 gallon tub.

To the left is the crappy clone sister that’s had the clap more times than a 10 dollar hooker on dollar night. I’m trying to bring her to flower too but if she craps out on me I swear I’m gonna mow her down.

Reminds me of a Jewish menorah

Hey what’s up 4tayOz? Glad you stopped by! She’s growing slow but hopefully I can get temps back up to where she’s happy! Got a few new starts working so we will see. I will say my supplies of bud are beginning to run low but I’ve still got a bunch of stored cobs! Need to build my stash pile back up to precovid levels!

No problem, I think your plants are looking marvelous 013! I have to do an update soon also, I harvested a few of mine and the little one has exploded in growth since transplanting to a 1 gal. Im hoping for a couple bags once dried and have some plans for making dry ice hash with all this trim sitting around in my freezer.

Anyway take care man!

Hey 013. I am facing the same problem running an indoor grow during winter w/o an HPS. My temps will be dramatically cooler. The magnetic ballast was enough to keep the small room warm.
Now that i am going to LEDs, i am faced with the potential temp problem. I looked around at little heaters with low amps and i found a "wall heater" running 400w and pulling 3.3 amps.
I have a small 7'×7' room to heat. It however is a seperate building away from the house with no insulation. (Doh!) I hope that little heater will work.

Check out the passive panel wall heaters, they are <100w, and heat slowly but surely as long as there is some air movement in the room. They are thin and mount on the wall, has a thin metal plate that air passes by and it keeps the room warm and dry.

@13goody13 that right there is the exact model/type i was looking in to. I didn't have any clue they went down as low as 100w. That would definitely keep my "amp draw" low in the outbuilding. Along with these new lights i am getting, there are other items or appliances i am needing to get. R.H. meter, Wall heater, New 5,000btu AC, Humidifier...jeez?! Uhh...what else? Hahaha. Thank you for the heads up and keeping us "peeps" in your best interest. It is much appreciated.
