Viparspectra Redux: GDB's Serenity Grow

Does two different phenos mean strains?
No, it means same strain, but grows/looks different than others of that same strain...

#2 is a bit greener than #1, #1 is a bit bigger than #2, but other than that, not much difference..
I agree with @MicroGrowerMan - the nutes are probably responsible for any differences.
It is odd that the slightly underfed (paler) looking one has the biggest colas... 🤔

Wow. You folks have made my day!

I don't ask a lot of questions in my thread but when I do it's often as if I asked the community for a collective day of silence! But today I got responses aplenty!

Thank you all! :thanks:

the leaves on both plants look pretty broad i"d say they are the same pheno indica, bud structure is a bit differnt but not by much, my 2 cents, they're looking awesome
I'm just glad you're able to see some difference. I was beginning to question myself.
I'll go with the nute differences.
That would be huge MGM. IMO, FB1 is the heartier of the two. If that's the case then her nutes should probably become my go-to choice.
Hiya Bode!! I'm a die hard Steelers fan but my bestie is a Lions fan. But I hit him up during the game near the end and told him I was sorry but we both agreed it's not gonna hurt em much. Happy Saturday Growmie. It's just so nice to see everyone again. Still rockin and rollin right!?!
Tomlin is doing a great job this year with what he has to work with!
Those look gorgeous, GDB. I would say they are the same. Good genetics! :goodjob:
This from a man who knows good genetics!
Does two different phenos mean strain?
No Tra. Same strain but different characteristics. Carcass answered already but here is a good explanation I found online:

Two things influence the structural formation of any given cannabis plant: genetics and environment. The plant’s genetic makeup, also called a genotype, acts as a blueprint for growth: it allows a spectrum of physical possibilities, but it is up to the environment to induce these characteristics. The physical expression of a genotype is referred to as a phenotype, which is simply defined as the traits that the environment pulls out from the plant’s genetic code. Everything from color, shape, smell, and resin production are affected by the environment.

Slightly underfed or different pheno? :)
Yeah maybe a bit shifty phenoy.
Shifty. Yeah, I like that description Stone! 😎
Mmmmm Weed and food porn!! Can't beat that right!?!? 💯🤣
I haven't done any food porn lately Scottay but here's a bit of what I'm talking about HERE.
Absolutely beautiful ladies tho GDP 👍
Thanks so much Mello.

Maybe that's why it's underfed.
If it's growing a bit faster than the ferts can keep up with, and it's a mobile nutrient that's lacking, then it's taking it from the leaves?

I was thinking the same thing.

A plant growing "faster" on ferts lacking in the amount of a mobile nutrient that she needs? 🤔
I was thinking the same thing.
Both of you could be right. I'm no expert and I'm getting confused! 😁

A plant that is growing faster/bigger needing more of a nutrient that is in the ferts, but not in the amounts she needs, sure.
I know there's that theory that plant growth is related to levels of the least available nutrient in their environment, but then why do we get deficiencies?
There's a thought in my head that I'm trying to put into words, but it just won't come out right.

Lesson learned, try to comment before getting high.

Like I said, you could (both) be right. I'm certainly not qualified to say you're wrong!
And I'm zooted nearly every time I post here. Isn't that pretty much the 420 way? :ganjamon:

I like to think of it like a big family. :) You put em all standing side by side and take a family picture. Same Mom and Pop, but all the kids are different sizes and shapes, different hair color, different appetites. That kind of stuff.:)

And the best kids take the best traits from each parent!

What he said lo you need a serenity smoke GDB they look Great !!
I ain't complaining about how they look Smoke. I just think they look a little different. :)

Hello all and Happy Sunday!

I've got nothing new to report but I wanted to at least squeeze in a Sunday pic. 📸

Here are the Phase II plants on their Flip + 72.

The Sour G (front right) has really been fattening up in recent days. A really nice development! I'm pretty sure she'll be done within the next 10 days. The two Fat Bastards won't be far behind her.

I've decided not to drought these plants.

This grow has been too serene for me to inject a bunch of stress (on myself) at the end. :)

Thanks for stopping by.

PEACE
