Can anyone at Viparspectra answer as to the discontinuance of the KS 2500, KS series light. Why is the main question, I bought one. Can we get a free upgrade to the KS3000 which fits the tent better? SSgrower

Please re-read the question, why is the KS2500 discontinued? This was told to me, Viparspectra has discontinued the KS 2500. No worries, just want to be up to date on the products I represent. I own several lights and a 2 year old 4x4 Vipar tent that still works satisfactory. SSgrower

Yes, the KS2500 is discontinued. ViparSpectra only keep KS3000 bar light for 3x3. Glad you are satisfied with ViparSpectra products. Appreciate your great support.

I have the VIPARSPECTRA 2023 XS1500 Pro LED hooked to the AC Infinity 69 pro controller and it does not completely turn off during the off cycle. When it turns off it just dims and does not completely turn off, I have the controller cable going to the "In" and the selector switch on "remote" .

My Viparspectra lights go out but they aren't controlled, My 4x4 Philzon 4500 is on controller 67 and it won't completely turn off, has a faint glow when switched off, Huh? SSgrower

I messaged ViparSpectra and it is designed not to turn off 100% unless you cut power to it, makes no sense why they would design it that way but they did.
So in order to turn it off completely the power cord needs to be plugged into a time synched with your controller which is what i did last night.

Unfortunate for uneducated growers, even novice like me, due diligence on my part to "Go into the tent dark, zip it up and look around after "Initial Setup", dang!! Thank's bro, SS

I have the same controller, but I run my light from a smart switch to turn off power on time.
Four outlet run on timers and the other four are on all the time.
The only bad thing is, the switch doesn't change during Day Light Savings, but that isn't a deal.

XS1500 Pro is dimmable from 5%-100%, when turn on the light, it at least at 5% intensity, can not use the dimmer to turn off the light, the same as can not use the AC Infinity 69 pro controller to turn off the light.
But you could use a timer or smart plug to turn off power to turn off the light.
And we have colleted all this information, we will make an improve .
