This is exactly how I control them as far as on/off goes. But with my 2 p2000 they are daisy chained so that from a wattage/ power standpoint only have to turn the knob on one of them and it changes for both.

I really wish I could fully control all aspects of my lights through my ACI controller but it’s really not that big of a deal.

At any rate these are great lights!
