So I thought I would have been flipped by now, but I decided to hold off a few more days to allow things to fill in better.
There was so much defoiliation needed before that happened, so that's what I have been doing these past few days. Pulling everything that's not going to amount to anything, stripping most lower fans, and supercropping some branches here and there to manage uniformity.
There's so much more air movement now, and light penetration is right down to pots. By the time they've recovered from the strip and all the bitch slapping they recieved, they'll be flipped to 12/12 at the end of New Years day with the eye Hortilux super HPS 1000 watt bulb.
Jan 2nd, 2013 they'll be flowering their way into the new year!
They're super healthy, showing zero deficiencies, I pretty much couldn't ask for conditions to be any better..
The super long veg time should really pay off with these babies.
I managed to pick up some cheap analog dehumidifiers yesterday from a local marine supply store, which should manage to keep my RH down enough until I can get a cheap small household plug in dehumidifier. I'll post up some photos of what I got later tonight when lights come back on..
So excited, this is one of my favorite times.. now that everything's ready? All the hard work is done, and my back is pooched?

Catch up day for me. My harvest all done, some into jars already, some getting ready to jar. Been a hectic 9 days and have 175 420mag emails of journal catchup to clear. Now I can finally look in on other grows. Yours is doing great and gotcha +reps! Keep up the good work!

It's a really good feeling when all the smoke clears post harvest.
Running any grow through the holidays takes work, let alone processing one.

UPDATE:
After healing from the lower defoil, they were fed a 1/4 strength nute flush with 1st week flowering nutes. Then the ladies were put to sleep for 24 hours before being flipped to 12/12, as lights went on tonight..
So we wont be seeing anything sexy for a few days.
Here's a few photos taken before the 24 hour dark 2 days ago Dec 31st..

I picked up these little dehumidifier units at a local marine store, on sale for 5.99 each.
RH before they went in was at about 55-60%. after 2 days in the tent RH is at a steady 40%! These things actually work!! I bought a gallon jug of the silica pellets, then just empty water as needed and replace pellets in the top of the units when they run out.. It's working so far, and I'm thinking with maybe 2 more of these, it should keep things pretty dry for me through flower. We'll see about that though, I'm also working on getting a 50 pint dehumidifier just in case.

And here's some photos taken tonight after lights on!
I did a bunch of last minute topping on a lot of the taller shoots before flip, and I'm glad I did, because it's given me way more tops to play with. All plants are now through screen, and I've been tucking as needed. But that Ruthie in the right corner just wants to take off!
Next feeding will be full strength week 1 flowering nutes!
