Tip spreading at least twice a day definitely helps with tight node spacing, as well as your light's distance from canopy.

Oh! Light bulb!! Is this maybe why my plants tend to stay squatty and not stretch much? I only spread tips occasionally and only once a day if at all. I feel like my lights at 18" above the top keeps them mega low.

The worst thing about growing cannabis is forgetting what you've learned. It's a vicious circle, to be sure.

If you don't mind me asking how much did you invest to create that amazing little "clone machine"? Very impressive stuff!

It cost me roughly $50, although I'm sure you'll save if you shop around.

Parts I used:

1 - Dewey Mister
4 - Dewey Seed/Clone inserts
1 - Active Air dual outlet air pump. Although you only need 1 outlet. I have 1 tube tied off for now. May add a simple T adapter, or soaker hose/air stone. I already owned the air pump.
2 - 8" 1/4 air tubing
1 - grommet, I forgot what size I used for the center Dewey hole . Lol
1 - 3.5 Gallon bucket/lid.
2 - CFL bulbs and clip on dual socket (They'll be under a 130W LED light soon until I buy a better light)

We love these Dewey cloners because they are fairly inexpensive, simple to diy and uses little water.

They can stay in the cloner a good while

Nice. They'll stay put until I build the 4 site RADDWC. .

I'll be placing the clones under my blurple 300W led (130W at wall).

The mini Dewey cloner will live in Catalina's current home once she's been moved to the 5x5. May even toss in my NYC Deez Auto in a mini dual 3.5 Gallon bucket RADDWC.

Wow. I meant to ask ya vex your first full grow!? #killinit I'm in the same boat, have almost a full grow under my belt. However I had to start with what was cheapest... looking to upgrade on the next go round. So I'm taking notes 8-D

If my plan works out, I'll have a 5x5 area split into 3x5 (Flower) and 2x5 (Veg). Just have to figure out how to squeeze 2 RADDWC systems in that small space. .

I'll use my 2x2.5 tent for clones and side projects/Autos. May even keep a mother there at some point.

Yessir. My first successful grow, so far.

Starting an effiecient grow setup can become expensive very quickly. Going the less expensive route is great for learning, but will reduce the yield most of us newbies aspire to achieve. With that being said, I had to buy cheap at first at well, shit ain't easy. Lol
