Its good to hear your son is doing better and will recover. Diabetes is pretty easy to manage. Hardest part to get used to is the diet. Hopefully someday they will find a cure. Thanks buddy. Sounds like you had a great time with the family. Much needed I'm sure. The realisation that we could lose him was the worst feeling I've experienced by a long shot. Thankfully he's a tough kid and the medical staff did an incredible job. He was in a very severe state of ketoacidosis. Normal blood sugar should be 4-7 and his was greater than 40. Ketone levels over 3 requires urgent medical treatment, his was greater than 15. He was in a bad way. Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes now. So we can manage it but it's going to be tough for us all to manage for a while until it becomes second nature.
Red Leader has been a pain in the arse from the off pretty much but will get her to harvest. She smells great now and may be tiny but fattening up nicely. Red 2 hasn't been as grumpy so I should get a nice little top up stash off her. Looking forward to getting the gorilla glue photo started in a few weeks.
