Vetsmoke's Mars Hydro Hempy Happening - Powered By The FC3000

Oh ye I saw them. They didn't even look too bound. You'll be mastering the ~2L root space!

Heh I also have one auto in 2L coco hempy. Well, she got little stretchy, about 53" tall.
2L root space in Hempy IHMO can't be compared to normal pot with 2L root space. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Mini hempy geng!
Wow! She went for it hey :thumb:

With my limited hempy experience I'd have to agree. It can be done with soil, like these ones here Post in thread 'Mars Hydro Sponsored: Flowering With The TS600' Mars Hydro Sponsored: Flowering With The TS600
But I feel like I got lucky with those ones.

I'd guess the roots grow slightly different in the bottom res which is filled with water than to normal pot just filled with media. :hmmmm:

Roots will get bound to bottom eventually like this but as the res media hydroton/perlite is very airy so it doesn't seem to hamper the plant or roots.

Would be cool to experiment how big a plant could grow in a small hempy compared to same sized ’normally’ potted plant.

Looking a little irritated still. Don't think the low humidity is helping. I've added some forced air intake because the garage humidity is twice what I'm reading inside the tent. I suspect not enough fresh air was getting in. This way I can keep the extraction low in veg and save a bit of energy. That's my theory anyway. Will see what the conditions are like in there later or tomorrow.

Odd that the garage would have higher RH if you're pushing air into the tent, not to mention the 5 reservoirs filled with water! :hmmmm:

You should know in 10 minutes if the intake change makes a difference though.
It was just passive before now and only a single 4" duct. Yeah it's weird. I've put another hygrometer in now too just in case the other has gone bonkers.

I think they've picked up a little. Especially the two in the front. Although the platinum cookies has a bit of spotting. I think tonight I'll make a batch of feed after recalibrating my pH pen, then run a good bit through each bucket. Start there and reassess in a couple of days.

Topped and stripped of the bottom nodes. Left with nodes 3 & 4. Bikini's on. I liked the way the Skunk was growing so I've left her with nodes 3-5. Probably end up with her in the middle bushing out a little more.

Day 25. Took their haircuts like it was nothing. I bumped the light up a little yesterday and a couple look to be really enjoying that today. Bumped the feed up to week 3 veg today and gave them all good water to refresh the res.

Looking okay. Be nice if they took off a little now. Think I've got used to the speed of autos.

I agree 1ML to the L of that shogun now mate i say.
Looking nice i think the katana roots does take its toll
Above ground when those roots explode and need food.
Think thats why they looked alittle sad for awhile.
;)

Hey Vet, looking good Mate
Pungent Skunk sounds terrifying to me lol
Be good to see these bush out or are you gonna flip early anyway?
I got 5 Chunk Skunk clones which I'm only gonna veg for a couple of weeks

As stated above :thumb:

Spotting could be Manganese def. Assuming you've got decent ’hydro nutrients’? Meant full range of micros. :cheesygrinsmiley:
They wont be able to bath under the led sun if they aint getting enough vitamins

I think they'll be happier with the more lights and nutes!
I reckon so mate. Get into the swing of this one.

They were on 5.9ml in 5 litres of water before. The week 3 calculator says 8.9ml for 5 litres so I've pushed it up to that. If it's too much I'll back it off. They seem hungry though.

Yeah the pungent should be interesting. Lol. My aim is to get 4-6 decent colas on each plant. So they'll get spread a little and then left to go vertical. Wasn't planning on vegging for too long. This tent will fill up quickly with 5 of them I reckon.

Using the Shogun range so they should have everything needed. Just gotta match the demand I reckon. Bit of tweaking.

Could not agree more mate, that is precisely how I grow autos but I pinch out at node 3 as I prefer 6 colas in small pots
