Vetsmoke85 First Grow Stealth Cabinet

Reason I ask is only place I've seen LED lights with that metal reflector is in South Africa, not a South African by any chance are you...haha
Ah okay. No not in S.A. I made that plate with some materials laying around at work. I've got another LED light from China that is a 100W one but it gets really hot so I've just stuck a couple of heatsink fans on it and need to test it later.

Just rigged it up in the airing cupboard to test. Has a lower profile than my current light setup so may be needed as the girls get bigger.

Seem to be working well. Will only fit them on this grow if absolutely necessary as I really need to test how they perform in the cabinet without messing with the current plants environment. If they work well it will be handy as will save me at least 10cm vertical space in there. Which in such a small cabinet will be very handy to have.

Yip that's the one I was on about it...

I'm using 12x100w and they do give off heat I'll tell you that but I have a big fan blowing on them out of picture...
They work wonderfully in getting growth out of a plant but the shelf life on those lights leave a lot to be desired, only 2 months old and already some panels are blowing....

Will use them as veg lights now those that survive and finish these girls outdoors most likely..

That's awesome. They're cheap as chips to be fair. If it only lasts a grow I'm fine with that. May order another as backup. At least I know they work for growing thanks to you.

it fell out and landed on the little plant.
It must be the day of the week for shit to fall off the wall-checked my plants this am,and noticed my little round analog thermometer that was on the wall with double sticky tape was gone.
Well,I knew it didn't sprout legs and walk outa there, and it didn't take much looking to find it:

I guess the 80 degree temp in there was too much for the tape (I should've known that)
No harm done-the plant didn't even know it was there-I just had to post this pic when I read that your fan had fallen on your plant-apparently,if something falls it's a law of nature that it must fall on the plant.:)

Ha ha. Brilliant. One of those days. I wish I'd taken a pic of mine. Miracle it didn't get snapped in half. I have some Velcro strips left so after I've rebuilt the the DIY filter I may Velcro it in and cover it all over with the foil tape too. Make sure the fecker doesn't fall out again.

Sorry to jump in here but I had to share my experience yesterday with all this shit falling everywhere. So, my ass bumped my flower room door that is wood and leaning next to veg room. As it is falling on my veg setup I swing around to grab it and smack my light with my head, bend and break the one cheap hanger hook I had to use and it swings and smacks right into my big plant in flower. I couldn’t believe how much of a tool I was, but no major damage thank god.

@AliceGG I certainly believe now that less is more with Autos. Especially in these early stages. Yesterday was the first time she had any water and it wasn't a lot. Still haven't given any extra nutrients.
Yes, I think you are right. I haven't overwatered my girls, but I did give them water frequently (like every 3-5 days), and I also intoduced nutrients to them quite early. What's the soil you use? Mine is a lightmix, with low EC and low nutrient content. If you're using something stronger then it alters the whole picture.

Busy morning. That fecking fan fell off again. Rebuilt it and added an empty fan case where I can layer some carbon granules in. Secured solidly in place now. Few pics of the fan and the girls looking beautiful.

I'm using biobizz light mix.
